Its a really nice area. AMC is nearby and it had a classy feel to it. Not to mention FREE covered parking in abundance. So its a great choice for a date night, theres patio seating by the fountain out front. The waitress was patient with my menu questions.Its not crowded in the early afternoon and the price is reasonable. I ordered a side of popcorn shrimp and it was a big plate. I also got the chicken Alfredo with blackened (you can choose how the chicken is prepared) chicken. It was good I just thought the food was pretty salty but overall great portions for the price.

Great ambiance, Great food, Great customer service = 5 stars. The food was flavorful. It was better than Pappadeaux. If youre looking for something different, give them a try you wont be disappointed. We had the Crawfish & Shrimp Etouffée, Crawfish Bread, Crawfish Ravioli, and Crab Stuffed Beignets.

Great food and better service. Try the catfish stuffed with crabmeat. My daughter had the top sirloin steak with crabmeat topping. Drinks were great, not watered down. Long wait (45-1hr) and they dont use open table. We just sat at the bar. Plenty of parking. They having a military discount. I recommend this restaurant on food and service.

(lets note that I watched 4 parties leave) Okay so; our problems begin at the door. After putting our name on the wait list at 6:00 we waited till after no till 9:10 to be seated. Was initially told that we would would be moved up due to people leaving (something you should not tell your customers). Host had a really bad attitude and almost argued with my spouse over seating arrangements. Once seated our server Olivia unfortunately took 12 minutes to even come to the table. First problem was no one helped Olivia wait on our table that was a party of eight. Maybe she was overwhelmed but this is also not her fault alone because you do not set a table of five or more without two servers. Next besides the lack of communication between the server and the kitchen; food did not come out on time as a matter of fact the majority of the table canceled their order. The wings that I was comped were not good. The pasta and my spouse ordered was cold and dry very dry. Even worse is that one of my party members ordered soup that even after the food that was kept begin to come out still did not come. On top of that there was a child in our party that ended up leaving hungry. Our meal consisted of the two cakes that we bought, some undercooked wings, some cold broccoli balls, some cold crab stuff beignets, and a New Orleans style sirloin that I didnt even get to see touched. As I told the manager tonight my biggest and most profound upset with this situation is that there were multiple servers on the floor that did not attempt to help their fellow co-worker and if they had this situation would not have happened. I gave Olivia a couple words of encouragement and plan on coming back to see her in action on a better night with a party of chefs seeing that I am a chef; and have been in the business for 13 years so I understand some of the issues from tonight but this was not an acceptable experience. (The only highlight from this night is that the little food that we did have was comped and my spouse was given a $60 gift card) I expect to see Olivia the next time I come.

Copelands is an absolute must-visit when traveling to or through Atlanta. The food is Amazing! The drinks are strong (get a Crash & Burn!). Very nice ambiance. This would be a great date location. Will definitely return when we can. No reservations, so plan to wait a bit or come during off hours, its popular for a reason!

This restaurant was close to my hotel, so decided to give this place a shot.For my drink, decided to have a hurricane (12 dollars). The drink was quite stong and really good. The portion was quite generous as well. I had the grilled catfish for my entree (19 dollars), which included shrimp rice and broccoli as the requested side. The catfish was nicely grilled and the requested hot sauce gave a nice kick. The broccoli was steamed properly and the parmesan was a nice topping. The shrimp rice that came with it was good too. Portions was very good for the price paid and was too full for dessert, which was quite disappointing because would have loved the banana fosterWhile the atmosphere is quite cause with mostly jazz music in the background, the service was friendly and good. The server was very friendly and gave me good updates on the timing of my food. I was seated immediately upon checking in, but it was a Tuesday night.Overall, this a great restaurant for those who want a nice Cajun cuisine near the Battery (Galleria) area.

The food was absolutely delicious. But the star of the she show was Chelsea…she is one of the best waitresses I have encountered. Chelsea was attentive and accommodating from start to finish and I didn’t feel rushed like she had any other tables to tend too. Got our orders correct and out in a respectable timeframe, kept us updated on how long it would take for our food and kept the drinks refilled like clockwork. They should change the name from Copeland’s to Chelsea’s!!! Seriously though, hats off to the entire staff…no complaints at all.

Copelands was so delicious! And serving sizes? Their french toast was triple the size of any weve ever had, and the chicken sandwich I had couldve served two! We cant say anything back home in Florida had quality servings for such a great price. And thank you to Jade for accommodating a couple of newbies to the scene.

Curbside food does not look as advertised! Ordered a desert for pickup. Paid nearly 10 dollars to basically get a fruit parfait. They need to attempt to make the food as advertised in order to uphold the brand! It also did not taste good. I am willing to give them a second try but I can not get ahold of anyone.

Listen whenever I come here I know its expensive and you have to treat ya self but thats a lie. Ill have 50 bucks my girl and I and we be like we dont need it ,BUT we wont it. So we spend the Lil bread/money and always go over$$$$ . The food is good. The technique is off. If I order crab beignets, they should look like beignets, not balls. 4 for $16 doesnt make sense either for the size. Caramelized onions shouldnt be burned on all of the ends, nor should I have tons of burnt bits from them all in my yams. The place looks nice though and the ambiance with the authentic music playing is great.

First time going to Copelands but it wont be the last. Was in town visiting family and decided to go here ou last night. Best decision ever. Copelands is a well maintained establishment that is very inviting. He lady at the front desk provided updates on our wait time for a table and was very courteous. The menu offered something for everyone, even non-seaood lovers so there was no problem pleasing our appetites. The portions are huge and everything we ate was delicious! Definitely worth the wait and the cost.My wife and I agree that our experience @ Copelands was so great because of Shawnden, our server. We were originally going to be sat at a table but we asked for an open booth nearby. The person seating us asked Shawnden if she could handle another table as she already had a couple of really large groups. Shawnden said its no problem. Her personality, professionalism, hospitality and sense of humor all contributed to the wonderful evening. Shawnden service made us feel like we were her only customers. She made every effort to ensue we had all we needed.

The worst experience. And this is the second time this happen. Buffet totally empty the entire time. No condiments. Had to contact management just to get drinks and plates for buffet. There are plenty of great service restaurants in Atlanta and this is not one of them. I strongly urge you to take another option as your experience will not be fulfilling. The food and service was like this the last 4 times we have come. Do yourself a favor and go to another venue.

This was my family’s 1st time going to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was awesome. The food was great and the service was good. We loved the atmosphere. The only thing missing was the beignets, so hopefully they get that on the menu soon 😊

The food was hands down delicious! After Donna explained that it was the only preparers first day we took everything into consideration, however the intake versus the outpay wasnt affordable especially to Cancer patients, or those on fixed incomes that would love to wave their hands of support! Fortunately we were able to accommodate the situation without strain we hope that either the buffet grows or the price point becomes more affordable for all! Again the food was pretty good, but for $40.00 a plate, It should have been 😂

This really is a 5-star place for the food and its freshness. I had heard about the fried chicken but had never tried it. Im thinking its fried chicken... how good (or bad) can it be? Okay so whoever recommended the fried chicken to me was spot on. It was delicious and there is something special in their recipe that is thoroughly enjoyable. I wanted to take away a star for the wait ...over 1 1/2 hours but I guess its not their fault for being so popular. We also had the catfish with the shrimp sauce and its another winner. The wait staff was busy but attentive, so go, youll be pleased.

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND SO WAS THE SERVICE. WE HAD A LARGE PARTY AND NO ONE HAD A COMPLAINT ABOUT ANYTHING. THE SERVER WAS REALLY NICE AND TOOK GOOD CARE OF US. THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST TIME ATTENDING THIS RESTAURANT. I LIVE AN HOUR AWAY AND WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK.

Food and the drinks were GREAT!! Not big on going out in this pandemic but the restaurant socially distanced everyone. We ate at the bar (socially distanced there too) The bartenders were sooo attentive (Im disappointed in myself that I forgot their names) Just a great experience!!!

I ordered a Togo order and received the wrong item near closing (I received crab instead of shrimp). Person on the phone told me to bring the item in the next day as proof and then they will resolve the issue. I think that’s a poor method. I’ve never had a food establishment ask me to bring the food in the next day. Makes me feel like they think I’d lie about a $16 appetizer…All other times I’ve ate here it’s been seamless. I don’t appreciate having to come in to show the food and wait for my food to be re cooked. It seems like I’m the only one being inconvenienced. I would have preferred a refund on the item seeing that I don’t eat what they gave me.

I had a bad customer experience, dealing with a petty employee, however, I would prefer to focus on the upside. I reached out to a manager, who goes by the name, Gena Snead, to express my concerns. Gena was a true professional, she listened, empathized and apologized. Sometimes all a complaining customer wants is to be heard. If the feedback to my complaint went wrong, my mind was made up, that I would no longer patronize Copelands. You are a rockstar Gena and you saved a customer, just by being the professional you are 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Also, I met the owner at the bar in the past, he is cool AF😎😎😎

It was my first time visiting Copeland restaurant in Atlanta Georgia when I say that shrimp po boy was good it was hella good

Took my wife for our anniversary. Oyster rockefeller was blah. Lukewarm at best. Ceasar salad was ok. The entrees were the stars. The eggplant perogue was excellent as well as the steak labouchere. Maybe about 4oz of sliced steak. Flavor was where it was at. Donna was our server and was very nice and attentive.

We ordered two of the holiday dinners. It was supposed to be turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy. One order was correct. The second was not. Instead of a side of mashed potatoes, it had two orders of dressing. Also, the order that was correct, had the dressing in a broken container. I will not be using this restaurant again for my holiday dinner. To top it off when I removed the dressing, there were pieces of plastic throughout the bottom. I could not even use it. What a waste of money.*FYI owner, I live an hour away. How inconvenient it would be for me to have to drive all the way back out there for something that should not have happened. If it were just the missing mashed potatoes, I wouldn’t even complain. But to place a container with broken pieces in there like it’s not broken, that was just ridiculous. & I know that the worker knew it was broken, because the bigger pieces that were broken, were not in the bag.

Went two days in a row, once for brunch, and the second was lunch. Didn’t have a wait time on either occasion, waitresses were attentive and helpful each day. Service was great. Food was also great, didn’t take long to come out, was some of the best tasting food we had on our trips. The flavor was definitely there in each dish.

We went because of high praise, but that makes me skeptical. Decent place, nice folks... Then the food came. Seafood if fresh and beautiful. Crawfish, crab cakes, shrimp, alligator, all very nice and well cooked. Their pasta was overcooked but who cares when the seafood is on point. Very nice place, deserved the high praise.

Steak Labouchere. Steak was perfectly prepared laid over a bed a creamy pepper mushroom sauce and a garlic butter angel hair pasta, with a biscuit for good measure. I quite enjoyed this dish and the plating. Not that Im by any means a chef, but I kind of expected them to big bowl it. They didnt. I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce has a mild heat that balances well with the seasoned steak. Comes in at around $23. Worth the money I think. 👍

First time having Copelands, been hearing about how good the food was and how they had a buffet brunch at one time but I ate myself into a iblivian and the CRASH & BURN MARGARITAS are good and they do just what the title suggests, loved it...

Creole cheesecake the best! Corn and crab bisque... they got rid of the corn hush puppies.. 😫 not happy about it. It was still good but when I travel from TN to Atlanta I stop for that. I am a little underwhelmed that they changed a staple. They also had an issue with staffing. It took forever to get food and drinks. Overall food good, drinks good... service blah, not what I am used to.

Ate here on a family trip. The food was tasty but kinda took a bit too long to reach the table. The other downside was that the wait time for a table was an hour and a half. The server was attentive. I had the Chicken Alfredo which was great. Next time i will ask for extra sauce on it. Overall, a good experience. Wish they were still in Alabama. There used to be one on Highway 280 in Birmingham and one in Mobile, Alabama at least until the early 00s.

Listen I love good customer service and this is exactly what happened tonight!!! For starters the bar tender Jasmine was absolutely amazing!!!! She took care of us while waiting on a table. We got our table and our oysters arrived. They were awful lol but the manager Mike was absolutely accommodating!! He replaced it with food and drinks but also offering a refund. He sat with us and didn’t make us feel bad for wanting for not liking our food. He was very nice and the customer service was amazing!! You would think we had meet him before. He definitely built a rapport with us and we will be back to see him!!!

Skip the salad and get the corn and crab chowder, it was fantastic. Also got the crabcake and shrimp with angel hair. I opted for 1 baked and 1 fried crabcake but would do both baked next time. Wait time wasnt bad, maybe 20-25 minutes on a Sunday night. We were just in town for the weekend but would definitely come back. Id be really interested in trying the weekend buffet if I could

Copeland’s has long been one of my favorite restaurants especially when I visit the Metro Atlanta. My usual location is in Kennesaw but they close at 9pm so I chose to go to the one on Cobb Pkwy instead since it is open until 10pm. I was driving through Atlanta so I timed it to be able to arrive at 9pm with plenty of time to be able to eat. You can imagine my dismay upon arrival to be standing at the host station a good five minutes before anyone came over! The host asks how many and I said two at which time she looks at the computer and says “it looks like we are at capacity and won’t be taking anymore customers tonight”! I was shocked! I then asked “well certainly this is not applicable to outside dining and she said yes that the kitchen closed at 9pm. I was so frustrated but had no energy to fight so we left and went to the Yard House which greeted us with open arms and salvaged our night. I am truly frustrated with Copeland’s after this experience.

Atmosphere is okay, had the Spicy Herb Fried Chicken. The dark pieces were juicy, the white meat was overcooked, very dry. The chicken wasnt golden brown, it was was burnt, tasted like the cooking oil needed changing. Tea was absolutely syrupy sweet (not good). The server was acting like he was tried and didnt want to be at work. This isnt my first time at Copelands, previous occasions the service, drinks and meal was phenomenal.

The buffet was not back yet so we had to order from the menu. I ordered the four Belgian waffles. I was disappointed. They may have been slightly bigger than silver dollars. They tasted good & the butter was melted but $12.95 was far too much for those tiny waffles. A side did come with the waffles so I got the potatoes. They were good. The buffet is definitely the way to go at Copelands.

This location’s is superb. The manager makes this location stand out from the rest. When dealing with a small concern, she quickly handled it with grace and exceeded my expectations. She was courteous, respectful, and sincere when coming to my aid. Thank you for the great experience and I will continue to eat from Copelands daily.

The waitress was excellent so was the service but the flavor of the food fell off from when I first came last year. The temperature of the food was perfect but just tooo bland.

The service was amazing! This was my second time at Copelands but my first time at this location. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out. The Salmon was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come back!

Tasty, Authentic and less costly than expected!!

Went here on a first date. Good atmosphere, food, and sweet tea. The shrimp and grits was awesome. The parking kinda sucks, and the trash bins next to the restaurant smelled terrible. Do yourself a favor and park in the garage near by, then walk around to the right so you avoid the bins.

Our appetizer was good and brought out quickly. Our main dishes took a while to come out. I wondered if the forgot about us. The burger and po boy taste good but the burger made my son throw up.

The atmosphere, food, service was wonderful... our waitress Michelle was excellent and very knowledgeable of the menu..... I would Recommend people to come try it out....

Took my daughter here for her 23rd birthday. Had a large party w us. The drinks tasted virgin. Had bo alcohol in them.The waitress was nice. I always get the bayou chicken when I come here. They barely put crawfish sauce over my food. U could see all the stuffing in the dish. The cook was definitely slacking this night.

Consistently great food. Wish they had a policy on seating large parties. A party of 2 shouldnt have to move to make room for a damn family of 17! Sheesh

One of my favorite places. It’s been a good minute since we’ve been. I’m sad to see some of our favorite items were no longer on the menu since COVID-19. I ordered curbside. However, once I arrived to the restaurant I had to wait for about 25 minutes before they brought the food out to my car. I called inside to see what was the hold up and was told the server had to handle customers inside and curbside which is why it is taking so long for my order to come out. The restaurant should have had a separate person handling customers inside the restaurant and another server handling customers for curbside. By the time I was walking in to get my food the server was walking out to my car. The food was good. I took one star away because of the slow service.

I almost gave 4 stars. I always have a 30 min wait time but when I sit, there are several open seats. Maybe there’s not enough staff.I must say, the servers are High Class. Chelsie with the chain mask link was A1. They remember your order and they greet you well. They go get extras fast and are just the right kinda servers.There’s food for everyone. There’s something on that menu that you can get with. Seasoned well and fair price. The side garlic bread is solid and my entree came with bread which I love.It’s a bit dark in there and kinda old bookcase vibe but I enjoy. They could update their desserts. Great parking and Police secure the lot. It’s a good spot and I’d recommend, I just forget about them sometimes.

I did a to go order on January 2, 2021. When I got to my destination, I realized just how lack luster this food was! The gumbo was as bland as rice with gravy made by someone just learning to cook. The crawfish bread tasted as if it was frozen, heated up, and the toppings was also tasteless. I ordered the gumbo ya ya and a order of crawfish bread for myself. For my daughter, I ordered the crawfish fettuccine, and for my best friend the crab appetizer. I could have prepared our meals myself! I am a native of New Orleans and I had always heard good things about this Copelands but I have no godly idea why! I will never waste $56.99 at this restaurant again.

The food was decent. Some food was over seasoned, some not seasoned enough. The shrimp etoufee and red beans were delicious. Also the side of the walls near the booth wasnt very clean. Wait staff was pleasant.

Great Experience and Delicious Food!!

Omg I’ve lived in Smyrna Ga since 2014 and just tried this restaurant this year. I’ve been missing all of their deliciousness all this time. Their Shrimp &Tasso Pasta is hands down the best pasta dish I’ve had at any restaurant! Their biscuits are also the best biscuits I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’ve only ordered curbside but their service is awesome and prompt. I’ll keep going until I’ve had all of their dishes❤️

Terra did a great job as our server. The food was great. Fried chicken was great, hot and crispy. Not spicy hot. The girls had Copelands frozen drinks and loved them.

Today I was at Copeland’s in Cobb county for my birthday. We visit this place at least three times a week . However The food was good, the Server today was not good at all. We tipped him 20% but he never formally introduced himself, never checked on us and it was not crowded . It was at 5pm he was a thick white guy. Customer Service can ruin a business. I’m sure I will not be back anytime soon.

The steak was awesome. So was Donna our server. Ate too much though. No cheesecake for me. ;-(

Came across Copeland while in Marietta, do not regret coming in. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned (if you like semi-condemented food-Crab Stuffed Beignets are AMAZING, I had the blackened chicken with yams -delicious. We tried the bread pudding for dessert, a bit sweet for me but the bread pudding itself was really good though. Our waitress Rachel S. had great demeanor, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu...and she makes a mean Arnold Palmer -go see her next time you’re near by! -thanks :)

Everything was great me and my family were visiting from Detroit and enjoyed the food so much! Our waitress was super efficient and very nice 😊We Will most definitely be back again😍😍😍

Food was great, they did appear to have customers spread out. The only problem I had was that they did have a group seated close to us in a room. I didnt understand it as everyone else in the restaurant appeared to b spread out.

Although extremely busy when we visited, our server Michelle was amazing and provided excellent attention to us. The deviled eggs were delicious and a must try if youve never had them.
