This Law Group is terrible and I mean terrible. My first contact with these folks was to handle a consumer issue against PRA. I contact the company with one of Berry’s attorneys on several occasions and the calls were recorded. I was contacted and told my case was acceptable for a consumer violation and then sent 2 contracts with one being lost in the mail.Fast forward to the company filing a lawsuit against me and being notified by other law group seeking to represent me. I contacted Berry when this occurred and was told that my case had been closed. They were no longer/had not represented me at all. I had been contacted by their staff by text asking if the company had contacted me yet the case is closed and I’m left with a judgement that should not have happened.When I called to inquire I was greeted with the worst attitude from Sara Revallo.PEOPLE DON’T DO IT. BEWARE!!!!

I went to berry and associates to file my chapter 13 case. Initially I started filing my case with Theresa and ended up with Carrie who is simply amazing to say the least. Both ladies where helpful throughout the process but Carrie really went the extra mile. My case had been reset some many times due to a difficult trustee but Carrie really worked hard to get me results. Every question or concern I had was immediately prompted by a quick response. She communicated very well through the process and kept me updated on everything. I would definitely refer anyone to Carrie. Filing a bankruptcy is definitely a stressful process so having an attorney that cares about you and works to give you that peace of mind, helps you see that light at the end of the tunnel. Stay away - I asked for specific legal representation in writing - which they ignored. Instead they said to income on in for a free consultation. The secretary on the phone said she would be sure to enumerate my specifics - she did not.Instead I was hit with generalized legal paperwork that had nothing to do with my specific request. They were trying to get me to file a bankruptcy case I was already discharged from. Had they paid attention they would have known.Beware of this gristmill legal firm. They do not pay attention and instead try to force you into their little mold - no doubt because the attorneys are not that good and can only go through the motions - much like the staff I did see.As it was - my 1pm confirmed appointment was overbooked like an airline, and I left at 1:30 without ever seeing an attorney.Stay away. Go anywhere else if you want a real lawyer. Specifically stay away from Janel Bowles - the attorney who blew me off.

After more than a year, I was finally approved for disability! It meant a lot that Mr. Berry went out of his way to collect medical records and make sure I was prepared every step of the way. His team is currently helping me with my medical debt and debt collectors! Truly a fresh start.

I fell behind on all my bills when my son was ill. I was out of work for almost 6 months and the collectors were calling me every day. Even on my new job.I talked to Berry & Associates. they reviewed my credit report and within a few days the calls had stopped. Three months later I started getting checks from the collectors for violating the fair collection laws!If you have financial issues this is where to go.

I dont leave reviews but after my health deteriorated and I was no longer able to work comfortably, Mr. Berry and my case workers handled getting me the disability benefits I needed to continue a normal life. I cannot thank his office enough for the ease of this process and would highly recommend him to others in the same situation.

If I could go back in time to choose another attorney to file my Chapter 13 with, I would. The case manager and attorney lack communication skills/follow up. All they care about is taking YOUR MONEY! Beware, if you win a settlement, this firm will take 95% of the settlement money and you’ll get 5% of the rest. When I was on a call with the paralegal, I asked if the attorney could explain why I received a low amount of the settlement money and the young lady advised that the attorney was on a another call and he’d call me back. I have not heard back from them, even reached out to the case manager and still no call back.

Nice building and greeter however if you want to file with no money down ( like advertised)don’t go here I was told they will NOT file until they have ALL they money.. I received a brochure in the mail stating if for a limited time they will file bankruptcy for you with no money down as long as your employed .NOT TRUE.I read the reviews after I met with them and discovered I’m not the only one who encountered this problem . Use your best judgment but I would not recommend these folks.

I was referred to Berry & Assoc a few months ago after continually getting calls from a collection agency regarding a debt that was not my own. It was very frustrating to repeatedly tell these collectors that I was not the person they were trying to find. Once Mr. Berry’s team stepped in, they were able to put a stop to the calls and had the collector pay me for the hassle of the calls. I’ve already recommended this firm to several others.

This rating is based on experience directly with Matt Berry. I was referred to him related to a Fair Credit Reporting violation. He repeatedly suggested bankruptcy as a solution, I even met with one of his own bankruptcy attorneys who said she was absolutely baffled why this would have even been suggested. He emailed me an update last on August 30. I have emailed him numerous times asking for any sort of update and absolutely no response since. Unprofessional and unethical.

I was being bothered by collectors and found Berry & Assoc online. They helped me pull my credit reports and I leaned that there were more collectors hurting my credit than I thought. I sent them my collector letters and they went to work. They sued my collectors and in about 3 months I started getting checks and my credit report didn’t show the bad accounts.

Very professional firm.I have gotten a ticket on my way from Miami to new York.in the way I got a ticket for speeding down in Georgia, McIntosh county.as I live in new York it was impossible for me to take care of this issue in person, so I did my research online and came by Berry & Associates.I spoke with them over the phone and had been instructed very well on how to make my payments online with a simple link sent to my email, they are very good and even though the ticket was very pricey ($683 fine + attorney fees), they took care of it very well.I still have a clean license, with no record nor points on it, and that is after a super speeding ticket.

They fail to return phone calls, dont answer emails, then wait till time for your paperwork be filed to to tell you they not gonna handle your case any longer. Leaving you no time to find anyone else. I had them as my ss later for over a year, they did nothing for me, returned maybe 30% of my phone calls and emails. Sent a lawer to my hearing with a rolling Minnie Mouse suitcase. He asked 4 it 5 questions, then didnt have time to talk to me or explain anything afterwards.

My daughter referred me to Berry and Associates after my husband’s heart attack and medical bills piled up. I got a lot of advice on how to deal with debt collectors and settle our debt from Mr. Berry.

Dont use this firm for SSD. Did not stay informed. My state senator did all the work. They used signed document from 2017 and put 9/28/2018. I released them August 1 2018. I received a super speeder ticket in McIntosh county GA. When I got home to Florida I did an internet search and Found Berry & Associates. When I called Matt Berry spoke to me directly and explained the process and cost of resolving the issue.He represented me in court, I received no points on my drivers record and had the super speeder status removed. I sought out the help of Mr. Berry for a Super Speeder ticket I received while visiting Georgia. I had called several lawyers I found online and his was the ONLY firm that answered my call right away and began working on my case immediately. I was always directly in contact with Mr. Berry and he was a success in getting my charges lowered to non Super Speeder status, which allowed me to pay a lesser fine for my infraction. He also got the state of Georgia to keep from reporting the ticket to the state of Florida. As a result, I did not receive any points on my license. He was very fair, persistent and kept me informed of my case. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Berrys firm if you are cited for speeding in Georgia!

I never hear from them. I have to call them to hear anything. Really bad at informing people on anything that’s going on. Feel as if nothing’s going to get done.

Wasted 2 plus years after hiring them to do my disability case. Get the same phone call from a male and female asking for another affirmation letter from my primary doctor! Yes they have all his info even his phone number they can call to get this letter faxed! Silly me that they actually should put a tiny bit of an effort out for my case! I have PTSD, anxiety attacks, depression, from childhood sex abuse and from sexual harassment by a former employer yet they claim even though i have seen psychiatrists and therapists up until 2 months ago that unless i am seeing them then i am i guess cured?!! Totally untrue! The NJ law states i do not have to be actively seeing a therapist! In addition to this i have many physical illnesses, fibromyalgia, palmer plantars pustuler psoriatic arthritis, costochondritis, IBS, plantars faciitis, chronic fatique, chronic pain. I have had most for yrs but after having IVF in 2008 everything escalated.My initial contact a girl named tiffany either quit or got fired unbenownst to me and i have no clue whether my emails were dealt with or anything, terrible terrible so called lawyers. I will NOT wait 7 yrs just to have my claim denied for the 3rd time due to incompetent lawyers, i am speaking to hopefully my new lawyer on monday!!! Reading these reviews i see they are best at speeding tickets not at potentially saving their clients lives by securing their right to the coverage they paid for!

I had a consultion with Teresa Stephens of Berry & Associates this morning at 9am. I arrived at the Buford Hwy office at 8:57AM and the office was closed. I walked out to my car and waited until 9:08AM. I went back to the fourth floor office and was greeted by Carly, the receptionist. I advised her of the time I arrived and was told I dont turn on the lights or unlock the door until 9AM; she then told me she saw me walking out as she was walking in. I signed in, took a seat and began to complete the IC (Initial Consultaion) package. Once I completed the package a woman in a UGA t-shirt and jeans appeared behind the counter. I handed her my completed package and the unidentified woman began to circle areas that I left blank because they didnt apply to me (number of dependents, etc). I sat back down and wrote N/A in those areas. Next, the unidentified woman called me to a back office and introduced herself as Teresa.She began to clinically go through my packet and asked me for my proof of income. I laid an envelope with tthe required check stubs on the desk and was told to take them out the envelope, which I did. After about 5 minutes, I told Ms. Stephens this experience of filing Ch7 was humiliating and embarassing enough without her being so condesending and unprofessional. Ms. Stephens then told me she is sorry I feel this way before giving me my paper work back and telling me to have a nice day.I am not suggesting Berry & Associates is not a good firm, I am saying without a shadow of a doubt Teresa Stephens needs to work on her manner as she does not represent Berry & Associates well (at least from what Ive read about them online).

Failed after 7 years to win benefits for a man with a debilitating incurable disorder (CRPS). As if losing such a case was even possible when people get benefits for Night Blindness they did manage to do so. To add insult to injury they refused to pursue available options past the Appeals Council AND an associate named Jackie even went so far as to yell at me and demean me when i asked to issue complaint on her demeanor.These people stole 7 years of my life and helped to nearly bankrupt my family and by way of thier ineptitude i will soon be in a homeless shelter.
