I highly recommend Mark at Aardvark septic. He came immediately with his co-worker. My tank needed service to be pumped. He also converted it over for an additional fee and installed the green riser lids. So next time in the future if I call to be pumped out the tank doesn’t need to be dug out again.My tank was located some far distance from my house and Mark and his assistant kept digging till they found it. They have all the latest location equipment.Mark’s fees are reasonable but be aware he doesn’t take credit card so have his fee available in cash.

My initial search for septic service with another local owned company near my home in Toney was horrible. I had called the other guys and got the run around on the phone between 2 different people. I had issues with odor but because I havent been in this house long needed someone to troubleshoot. We have a ton of tree roots in the yard so thought that could be the issue. The first guy never introduced himself and told me to call another company cell number because possibly there were problems which could involve digging up the tank and he didnt do that. The second guy was a little better on the phone but basically told me they would pump my tank regardless of the situation and there was no way to simply tell if it needed to be pumped or not beforehand. So he told me to call the first guy back. I spoke briefly to him again, still not knowing his name, and was told he would call me back. About 2 hours later an employee whom I hadnt spoken to or scheduled with randomly showed up at my house without warning to pump my septic tank. He had not be apprised of the issues or told anything about my phone calls. At that point it hadnt even been decided that is what needed to be done. No call or warning, after specifically telling me he would check his schedule and call me back. Sent the employee packing and called Aardvark. Mark was very nice and professional. He was booked up about 2 weeks but I knew I was willing to wait for a better company. He actually called me back later and offered another appointment due to cancellation but we stuck to my original date. These guys just finished and I couldnt be happier. Simply opened it up and affirmed it just needed to be pumped. Polite and professional they got in and out quickly and discussed maintenance and care of my system. Would highly recommend.

Toilets were not flushing, and he came out to not only clean my clogged filter but to educate me more on what to do to prevent further clogs. We were somewhat still new to the area and first time on septic. Very professional and caring.

When I called, because my yard was wet and didnt know anything about where my tank was he was super helpful. I decided to use his services and am super glad I did! He was timely, professional and called ahead before he got here. Ive never had a septic tank before, so I was nervous that the yard would be a wreck afterwards but it wasnt! Mark was great, answered the questions that I had about our tank and field lines. I really didnt know where the septic tank was and he probed the yard until he found it. Mark had to dig to get to the opening of the tank but to look at it after he finished you cant tell where he dug. Excellent service. I had my tank pumped as part of regular maintenance. The tech was on time, fast and professional. He even took a few minutes to answer some general questions I had about our drain field. I will definitely use Aardvark in the future. He did have a 3 week lead time when I called. Since it was not an emergency, this wasnt an issue.

Mark came out to pump our septic tank and to inspect it. After he opened the tank he saw that our tank was full of water and our field lines would need to be replaced. He let us know that and didnt pump the tank, saving us the pumping fee since we would need to pump it again when we had it replaced and it would just fill with water again when it rained. So in the future I will always go to him first. Super professional and answered all our questions.

Awesome experience. Gave us a fixed price over the phone to pump our septic that was over $400 cheaper than one of the other estimates we got! Mark scheduled us in, showed up on time, knocked out the work in about an hour, and was helpful and courteous the entire time. Will definitely use again if needed.

I would highly recommend Aardvark Septic Services. I called their service at 8:10 am and Mark was at my house by 9:45 am. He went above and beyond what he had to do to help get my septic cleaned out. We had roots built up in it and needed a backhoe to clear it out. I had to get a backhoe to my house to dig up the roots and he offered to drive the backhoe and clear the roots for me. He spent hours helping me out and didnt charge me extra for this service. He was professional, helpful and friendly. Great Job.

I have no problem highly recommending this guy. Its been a few years but I had them clean my septic tank and was very impressed with the service and owner. He came when he said he would, did the job totally professionally and thoroughly. Wrote me a receipt.I was impressed enough at the service that I recommended him to all our friends and even to the Scout troop parents at the time. At least one friend of mine called him a few months later, and he went and cleaned hers sometime after that; she was also happy.I remember that I had already talked to some of the bigger companies before I found him, and something just reminded me of them today. I got the run around about the price, higher price with add-ons possible; and some friends warned me they would not open up both sides of the tank, so I was asking about things like that... all in all I remember it seemed a racket. This is a great company to have your septic tank pumped. The owner is a one man operation and was the cheapest in area. He was very clean and professional. He even went to extent of laying down a tarp for the dirt removed for the 1 dia lid. He left everything back as it was after the job was completed. He is also a very honest man and will do the job right and will not take advantage of the customer. I will refer him to everyone who asks. I wish more companies would run a great operation like Aardvark!!!

Aardvark came out today for a 8 am appointment. At 7:55 am he was ringing my doorbell. After inspecting my septic tank he told me it really didnt need to be serviced today. He went over with me different ways of keeping my system working correctly and was professional and courteous. Didnt even charge me for the visit. Call and confirm you cancel with this septic service. Do not trust messaging. I cancelled my appointment with Aardvark last week via message. The driver says he did not receive my message. The original message I sent him informed him if I could find another business to come out sooner I would be using them as I was having an emergency septic situation. Aerial septic came to my rescue last week. I sent the cancellation message last week to Aarvark. The guy said he was going to charge me a $75 service call. I told him he needs to do what he finds morally right. He handed me a bill and I told him to have a blessed day. Im not sure where the 5 star review guy was today from Aardvark but he did not pay me a visit. $75 to drive from his Athens business to an Athens address Cancel with a phone call then you may save yourself a visit from a business/profit only guy. PS he does not know how to properly align his truck to an electric gate opener as he smashes my gate doors into the back of his truck. Yeah, that was before he handed me the bill.
