I had Haley, she was great! She knew how to handle my curly hair!

This review is from my first visit at Raphaels Aveda Concept Salon. Haley gave me an amazing, professional cut that was exactly what I wanted and needed. She clearly knows her craft. She was friendly, welcoming and personable. I plan to return to her for my next haircut for sure!

Came in with naturally dark brown hair and Dharma absolutely nailed the blonde balayage I wanted. Everyone was super nice and I will definitely be going back :)

Raphaels is an amazing salon with wonderful staff. They listen to what you want and help you to leave happy with your new hair style! Wonderful!

I went in for a Brazilian wax and couldn’t be happier with the results ! Kylee did an amazing job . She was very personable and made the experience wonderful. She was very thorough and professional. I absolutely love her and will be going back again. I highly recommend going into the see her if you are considering the waxing service.

Not impressed. First, I made an appointment so I didn’t have to sit around forever. Second, the worker gave me what essentially amounted to a woman’s haircut, which I just opted to have fixed elsewhere. It looked like a very long bowl cut. She obviously didn’t know how to cut longer mens hair, and I didn’t want her making it worse.Guess I’ll just go to a barber next time 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have issues with mobility and they worked very hard to make my visit a pleasant one. What could have been barriers were overcome quickly and I appreciate all that was done to make me comfortable. The owners can be quite proud of the staff. Their professionalism, respect and compassion were evident right away.

I am new to the area and decided to give Raphaels a try as I am familiar with Aveda dyes and products. I am so glad that I did! Jenny did a fabulous jobs on both my hair and nails! I will definitely be back and would recommend this salon.

I went to Raphael’s to get my hair and makeup done for engagement photos. Monika did a great job, and I felt like it was just what I was looking for!

Paid $35 to have my hair cut. The cut was fine, I asked my stylist like 3 times to go shorter but was told it looked better longer...? $35 for a hair cut with no hair washing or styling or anything, just the cut, is a bit too high for me.

Exceptional service. Salon is very clean. Stylists are friendly. Monika has been my stylist for years. She always has great suggestions for me. You can schedule appointments online, by phone. This is a very welcoming environment and you feel refreshed and pampered after a visit.

Ive gone to many hair salons and barber shops looking for someone how to cut my hair the way I like it.I went to Raphaels from a friends suggestion and got on Monicas calendar. She was the first person to ask questions and make suggestions based on if she thought my idea would be good for me or not, which is exactly what I needed.This is the only place I go to get my hair cut and would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Haley is the best! Been getting my haircut with her for a couple years and does a great job every single time! Really pays attention to detail and managed to fix my haircut Great clips messed up on. I drive an hour just to get my haircut by her. Definitely worth it!

Haley is fantastic! She does a perfect job with long hair. I’m usually afraid it’s going to get too much cut off and I never had to worry about that with her. She makes sure my hair is healthy and gets the attention it needs. I continue to go back, have my husband go to her and one day she’ll cut my son’s hair!

Everyone is amazing. Tiffany and Monika do wonders on my hair and my toes and eyebrows always look and feel great after a visit too.

I just got my hair cut by Haley and its the best haircut Ive had in years. Haley was friendly, a great listener and clearly skilled at what shes doing. I couldnt be happier with the results.

I’m a senior at OU and have struggled to find a good place for an eye brow wax in Athens. I just got them done at Raphael’s and I’m so sad I didn’t find them sooner! I’m so happy with my eyebrows, especially after the last place I went in Athens took off half of my eyebrow.

Been going for years. Never done me wrong. This year was the first time I wanted to reach out and try a new place and they fried my hair. Aveda is my favorite.

I saw Ken smoke a cigarette outside and came in to cut my hair, it smelled atrocious. Not professional. I asked for a low fade, he did not blend in my sides and gave me a choppy top. Do not ask for Ken but everyone else is lovely.

This salon is so cute, all the staff were so friendly and Hayley managed to fix an absolute hack job that I did to myself, I cannot recommend them enough!

Came in for a rose gold look, when my hair is already lightened to blonde. I know rose gold is difficult to dye because there are so many varieties. I came in with several pictures, both of what I liked and didnt like. Eventually left with purple looking hair that immediately faded after one condition. Went back in to get the color adjusted and had a better color the second time, which they did do for free. However, for a first time client I didnt feel very welcome to come back again, and my experience the second time in the salon was very uncomfortable and awkward. Staff was mostly friendly, but not my favorite salon experience, especially when Im paying $100.

I got a cut and style with Dharma. She was great! I am biracial, and she is great at working with ethnic hair--no pulling, and she knows what products to use. My hair looks fantastic and I highly recommend her!

Went for an undercut trim. Apparently he got the clippers in my longer hair because I have been shedding a spooky amount of longer hair and now have a choppy section.

Love this salon! Had Andrea do my hair as she had great reviews on here and she did an absolutely great job:) My hair was a very dark brown and i wanted to go back to my natural blonde knowing that this usually cant be done in one trip however she spent over 6 hours on me and it came out AMAZING! Not all the way as light as i want it but WAY lighter than i expected for a one time visit! Definately recommend her to anyone looking for a great color stylist. She also trimmed my hair and did a fantastic job at that as well. It was well worth what it cost which to me was not that much at all. ive payed way more for work that was not nearly as good.

Jennifer is the absolute worst nail tech ive ever dealt with. next time ill just walk next door to cvs and buy the polish to paint them myself. all i wanted was a simple polish change and it was horrible. shes a very nice woman but she cant paint nails to save her life.

Got my arms waxed by the OWNER and she did a horrible job. She was friendly and nice bht she missed half the hair on my arms, rushed the entire process, and didnt care to check too much to see the hair that was clearly still there. I will certainly not be returning for any services.

They ruined my hair when they bleached it, totally damaged, they dont know what theyre doing. I wanted purple and it was black with a hint in the sun then brown after 1 wash! dontt go!! horrible custumer service too, the owner and front desk are so rude!!

AWFUL SERVICE. waited 40 minutes for my appt and then finally walked out because nobody was helping me! 3 workers were not with customers and one even started touching up anothers roots! complete waste of time

Absolutely terrible cut, chunk missing out of my bangs. Hair cutters hands smelled overwhelmingly like he had just smoked and didnt bother to wash them.
