Beautiful site on Ohio Universitys campus. Attended for freshman orientation. Great setup, comfortable and welcoming.

Crowded, but still a good venue. Not sure if it was just this event or if it is all events held here, but it was cash only for merchandise and drinks.

Prices are great and venue

Great place for cultural events. Look for the amazing quotes on the wall on the College Green side. Also, in November they have the Orchestra under the Elms performance. Totally worth it!

Been here for several times, pretty good sound effects for a concert!!!

We have viewed many great shows at this delightful theater - most recently The Color Purple - a 5 stars production!

I have worked at Templeton Blackburn memorial auditorium for a few years now and I love the history of it. It has not changed. Since it was built a very very long time ago. Walking into it feels like taking a step back in time. The venue is perfect for any act from concerts to play to speakers.

This venue has one of the best quality house PA and lighting systems in the country. Audio powered by lAcoustics and lighting by High End Systems. The staff is great too, but Im biased about that.

This is a magnificent work of art. Ive always loved going to this venue. Just to look around at the decor is very pleasing. They have good concerts with some fairly good artist and the artists are very diverse

Attended Kenny G concert here. Had seats in the upper balcony, the view was pretty good but at times it seemed to get very loud. I believe the seats on the lower section wouldve been much more enjoyable for listening.

My wife and I had a great time, it was clean well taken care of. Friendly staff, we had a great time.

Great performance venue! The stage can create a lot of heat for performers at times, but a nice place in all.

Really neat building that could only be made better by having a parking facility. If youre coming for an event, leave at least a half hour to find a parking spot. 😬

Known as MemMaud (or as I call it TBAMA) This is the place to go in Athens for any large shows. They have larger acts especially on special event weekends. It is an auditorium with seating, but for smaller shows they open up the stage.

Great place to watch concerts we have been going for years . Sad to see Dr Tracel and Kulman go .

The best concert venue in Athens. Sadly, the audio setup is aging badly. Sound quality ruins some school performances.

Saw Elf the Musical and it was awesome. First time to this theater and will come again. Seats were a little narrow for a larger size adult.

While studying at OU and these days as an alumni, this theater is a place I’ve come to know and love.

A beautiful venue for a music or theater performance. Attended a back stage event where the musicians setup on one side of the stage and the attendees were given access to the stage too see the show.

Dont like that the restrooms are down stairs because stairs are difficult to maneuver for some people. Seats are comfortable though.

Seeing a live show at Templeton-Blackburn is always a great experience. I just wish that the ushers would have opened to auditorium a few minutes earlier on a cold rainy night.

I have seen Josh Turner and Parmalee both were amazing concerts.

Largest venue in the area for concerts, plays, lectures, etc. Pluses: handicapped accessible, comfortable seats, beautiful Ohio University campus location. Minuses: parking is difficult and scarce; plan to arrive early for your event.
