Would like to brag on Randy in the parts department. I have had numerous equipment issues this spring; usually calling from the field with no information. Randy has solved my problems every time with no mistakes. Always in a great mood and very helpful. I will take all of my parts business, John Deere or not, to Randy at Athens United Ag.

The purchase of my tractor + implements + trailer went very smooth. Very good instruction and friendly staff. The only negative was I never received my license plate for my trailer. I called a handful of months later when I remembered (since I dont pull it often) and left a message of what I needed with the lady that answered the phone. She said she would have someone call me. No one ever called me back and no plate was ever received. That part is frustrating. I dont even know the trailer axle specs to get it on my own, but Ill make something up I guess when I go on my own and register/license it.Update: They reached out after they read my review and took care of me. They emailed a printable temporary tag and a couple of weeks later, I got my plate. Thank you!

On Friday 3/20/20 I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Kevin Costlow the salesman In the Athens store. Mr. Costlow was not in a hurry or your pushy car salesman type forcing you to make purchase or up sell you. Mr. Costlow answered all my questions and treated me like I was purchasing a 250k Loader. He told me my new tractor would be delivered the next day Saturday the 21st before 12 noon by one of their employees. He called me to let me know his delivery person was not there to deliver it on Saturday and he personally would brig it to my home. Mr. Costlow used his personal vehicle to make the delivery. This kind of service is unheard of nowadays. He was not in any hurry going over the proper operation of the machine and told me when I want to remove the bucket he would come back to my house to show me how its done the first time, WOW!. Now that is a outstanding employee that should be commended for his dedication to United AG. The whole process to make this purchase was about a half hour. Thank you Mr. Costlow for your professionalism and knowledge of the John Deere line of tractors and implements.

2 stars may be 1to many. Had my lawn mower in for warranty work 53 hours, was told the bill was $197 the tech found a bad belt no problem probably needed to be replaced. I would think that a belt would last longer than 53 hours. The problem was I did not authorize the repairs for the belt, was never called. I would gladly pay for the belt but not the labor charge to install something I can do myself. I hope I will not have to have any more warranty work done. I don’t know if I can afford it.

I spent two days shopping for a new tractor, including a visit to a different United AG & Turf store. Athens AG & Turf was my last stop. I met Kevin Costlow there who had more tractor knowledge than all of the previous tractor salesmen put together. He set me up with the right tractor for my needs and gave me a great deal in the process. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with, and is as honest as the day is long. I am now a lifelong customer.

Great people to deliver to. One word of advice to truckers bringing loads into this place. If you are going to deliver later in the afternoon, the gate off of the 1616 road may be closed, in which case, youll have a very difficult time getting turned around. Use the entrance on the south side of the business. I look forward to bringing more tractors to these great folks!

Asked about a 48in deck belt. Said they had it for $142. Every where else the prices were in the $40 dollar range. To much of a mark up for me. Ordered online.

I recently visited this store looking for a tractor and cutter. I had visited multiple other stores and United Ag and Turf was actually the last one I visited. I met with Kevin Costlow and couldn’t be happier. They have taken care of us in an exceptional manner.
