I have been a happy customer of Glenn’s Repair for many years. Maintaining a Historic Inn with Gardens and multiple rental properties, I have purchased and rented a wide range of equipment and supplies. I especially value their expert service department; they always take care of our maintenance needs as scheduled. I trust the owners and staff for good advice and their commitment to helping us meet event deadlines, especially during these unprecedented times, when so many businesses are unable to keep up.

Been to Glenns a couple of times for different things. Spoke to the owner both times. He was friendly and knowledgeable and shared information about our product and our project. On the occasions we are working in Atascadero and I need rental or service Im heading to Glenns.

I went in there this morning to get a primer bulb. The man behind the counter was rude short with me and snappy. I bought the bulb and I thought the price was high. $11.97. Later that day I went to his competitor and found that they sell them for $5.00. Between his attitude and the ripoff for the part. I will never recommend or shop there ever again. He may treat his regulars different. His loss.

I went into Glenn’s today for a part for my mower. The part I needed was in stock and I was actually provided with expert advice on installation. The price was competitive to on line prices for the part that I purchased. I was very pleased with the service that I had received and left the store.When I returned home (20 miles away) after 5 PM, I received a call from Glenns. I had left my wallet on the counter and they secured it for me, and said they would wait to close until I returned to get it. I had $200 cash, several credit cards, ATM card and critical personal items in this wallet. Nothing was touched!!I have read the other reviews here and not sure who they are dealing with, but this establishment is FAIR, FRIENDLY and most important HONEST!!!!!! Not many people or establishments like this around anymore, but Glenns will forever have my business.**BOTTOM LINE**If you’re looking for a good honest place to do business, GO TO GLENNS!!

Great rentals good prices

I recently purchased a Honda Generator from Glenns and had a great experience. The owner and employees are wonderful and extremely responsive! They have great customer service, and they made sure my generator was topped off and gave me good instructions on use, storage and maintenance. Id go back to this local shop for any equipment and rental needs that I have in the future. Thanks!

When I first dropped it off, i got a rude reception. That should have been my first clue.Then they tell me it will be a monthThey call me the day before they say they will have it done and tell me its almost not worth repairing...its on the fine line. He quotes me a little under $260 for the repairs and about $550 for a new one. Im a single mom supporting my children on my own. I cant just drop $550 for a new mower because the guy wants the sales revenue and is lazy and doesnt want to fix it. I tell him to fix it and ask when it will be completed. He tells me the next day. I show up two days after the date he said it would be ready and he said it wasnt ready and that he had to order a part. This would have been nice to know before I dragged friend with a pickup to help me pick it up. Didnt just waste my time, but t he truck owner as well.I call today to verify the mower will be ready so I can pick up tomorrow because he said it would be ready 3 days ago. He told me it was ready.....thanks for calling and letting me know buddy.If I get there to pick it up, and it is more than the quote he gave me 10 days ago, I will be back on here to let you know.I definitely will not be a return customer and highly recommend you look into other options

Planned an out of town camping trip and called last minute to rent a Honda generator. I was so glad he stayed open late for me. It worked perfectly. Were not great at roughing it, so it was nice to have some lights and air conditioner for the RV. It ran very quiet too. I will definitely be back.

I put on several races throughout the year, and use the generator I bought here to power the clock, registration table and lighting. I am so glad I ended up with a Honda instead of the other brands I was considering. It starts on the first pull every time and is so easy to carry around. When I went in, I thought I needed a 3000, but the sales guy said I’d only need a 2000 for what I was doing. Appreciated the honesty when he could have made more money off me. He set it up, filled it gas and warned me to keep it locked up because they get stolen often. Would not have thought of that. I’d suggest this place to anyone looking for a generator.

Went to Glenns looking for an electric lawn mower (seriously)because i hate trying and trying to pull start a gas mower. Geoff showed me some Honda gas mowers and promised me it would start every time. I dont have a huge yard so he showed me one of the less expensive models. He let me start it (first pull!) to show me how easy it was to get it going. Its a Honda he said smiling. I bought it on the spot, he filled it with gas and loaded it up. He was right. It starts every time. Now am looking for a generator and will definitely go back to Glenns.

The owner, Geoff, is a great guy! Super helpful when I went in to rent a rototiller for my yard.

Called to see if they sell parts. Guy was rude and when I told him it was a Ryobi, he told me to go to home depot and hung up on me. If you dont service a certain brand just say so. No need to put down Ryobi. The Ryobi I have is over 20 years old and runs great now after a carburetor replacement. Im pretty sure its a good product if it lasts 20+ years.

I bought a used mower from owner and was told it was in good condition. The self propelled rear wheels quit working first time I used it. Mower quit running after 2 hours of use. Took it back to him and was told carb needed rebuild. Picked it up a month later and paid him $115. I used it periodically and after less than 2 hours use it quit running again. Took it back to him and he blamed the gas and wouldnt touch it unless I paid a $35 inspection fee. I took the mower and left. Poor people skills and lousy customer service.

Most expensive and least trustworthy repair shop in the area.Do yourself a favor, take your lawn mower to another place.Jeff charged me $100 to confirm to me that my old riding mower needed a new carburetor (when I took it to the shop, I told him I had already changed the filter and sparkplug). Then he said he would be happy to replaced the carburetor for $300.

Rented a chipper/shredder; exchange was simple, staff was super helpful and equipment worked great. Wouldnt hesitate to rent or buy from them again.

I just wish they were open longer on Saturday. They are a great place though. But again please stay open longer on Saturdays so I have time to get in to buy and rent.

We have been using Glenns for years. Geoff will get my equipment repaired with little down time. They keep us up and running!!

We have been using Glens repair for all our propane and small engine repair needs since 2013. They have always been prompt and fair with the work they have done for us. I would recommend them to anyone looking for small engine repair.

Guy was kind of ok, got it, now get out attitude, then got a call back weeks later saying the trimmer was totally broken which it wasnt. Just lazy dude. Have tons of weed trimmers that were sent back from this place incomplete. Telling my boss not to send company equipment here.

I went to Glenns looking for service. I was given grief for purchasing my blower at H.D. and was told that if Id purchased it from them that then theyd be all over it but as I had purchased it elsewhere I was out of luck. I expected more from a home town servicer. I was willing to pay and had to basically beg for assistance. I regret even trying Glenns and only went there as Mid Coast Mowers tech was off on Saturdays. So if you are looking for service or advice on something you purchased elsewhere Glenns isnt interested in helping.

Now go look at reviews for Mid Coast Mower and Saw.Those people helped me with what this guy wouldnt/couldnt,and they are actually kind and knowledgeable people.
