My daughter went out of town to visit her sister (also my daughter) in Astoria. They went on a walk with the babies. Somehow her car key was lost! She didn’t have a way to return home and back to work without the key. We called A Coastal Lock-n-Key to see if they could help.Cheryl’s smiling voice answered the phone. We asked if she knew if it were possible to make a copy of a picture of a key for my daughter. She said it was hopeful, and we sent her the picture in a text! The next person I spoke with was Allan. He was very kind. He said he made two copies and he would go to the car to see if they worked. He met my daughter outside. While he was there, the neighbor said they found her other key in the yard! Both copies of the keys Allan made worked!! he gave her the keys -four of them. He said, “There will be no charge today”! Renter moved and took the keys! I was surprised how much patience they need to pick a lock. They had to finally drill the deadbolt out. A new deadbolt (they had available) and all locks rekeyed to the same key....we were in!! Good guys!

Was at a hotel and getting something from the car trunk and accidentally closed it with keys still inside. It was 10:30pm and thankfully Coastal Lock N Key was available for emergency services. The guy came in 40 min like he estimated and was able to unlock the door quickly through the window which we had left open a crack.He was super friendly and chill even though I had woken him up 😅Fee was very reasonable and fair. Prefers cash for payment FYI.

I locked my self out of my parents house and I called mike at 10:30pm in freezing weather and he didn’t hesitate! He was so punctual about getting here knowing it’s cold and got me back in the house so quickly! I highly recommend him! He went above and beyond!

Great customer service and attention to detail! Lums quoted over $200 to replace my broken car key. Researched and bought a new fob and key and took it down to the shop. They double checked everything, cut the key, and I was out in just a couple minutes. Super nice and VERY affordable!

11:30pm on Labor Day and I lost my key to my LOCKED roof box with all of our camping gear in it. Mike saved the day hands down. He got our box open so we could get our stuff out and finish our trip. He also did it without damaging the lock so I could get a new key when I got back rather than a whole lock set. I certainly will recommend to anybody in the area.

This was the best locksmith I have used. When we first remodeled and had new entry doors installed. The locksmith we hired keyed the doors for me. Before now it was difficult to lock the doors in rainy conditions. This man took the time to solve the problem by grinding the door jam face place. Mike was fantastic. He had to replace both FOBs on my car. The process was long and tedious and he wouldn’t give up until he got it done. I tried another company and they gave up after 30 mins and blamed the fobs.This is the place to call for any key needs!!

My keys were locked in my car. I called my insurance company called Coastal.Mike came and jammed the bar down in the window and moved it around and popped the lock up and tried to open the door and nothing happens. Then does it to the other door. Now neither door will open from the outside. He goes on to explain that someone must have broken into my car before and denies that he has done anything to my car... Then during all of the jamming of the tool he scratches my car and rips the seal.

We needed to get the locks changed on our house in Nehalem during the busy 4th of July weekend and he not only changed all the locks he called me from the Warrenton Home Depot to talk me through all the lock options and then bought all the hardware. What I really found outstanding is that he took the time to explain all the ins and outs of different lock configurations on our house. He has a rental himself so he knows what is most convient and what works best for rental properties. He stayed late into the night to get it all done. Call Mike! He is the best!

My son locked his keys in his truck and I spent all night trying to break into it. When it was finally 9am, I called Michael and he came right out to help. It took him about 20 seconds to get the door unlocked. Then Michael told me that he only charges $10 more for a call like mine outside of normal business hours. Ugh! Next time I will call Coastal Lock-N-Key and get to bed on time. PS, Michaels mom made an extra door key for me at no extra cost. This company is the best!

Had a 72 Dodge Dart with no keys or anything. He came out made me keys even tho it was giving him a bad time but he managed to get it done. I asked to have a key made for the gas cap but instead of pocketing the no ey it would cost to do that he told me it would be cheaper to just buy a new cap rather than trying to pad his pockets. I will for sure use his services again.
