A lady from PTS called me for an interview. I had previously applied for a consulting position, but the lady that had called asked if I would be interested in a development position instead. At this point I began asking questions about this new position that she was talking about that I had not even applied for nor heard of.The lady gave a few minor details, such as location, but when I began asking more questions about the job, such as the specific work, she seemed to become very agitated, short, and evasive. All I wanted to know was what the position entailed, because up until this point I did not even see a job listing. The lady, in a most rude and condescending tone, then stated that If I didnt want to just come and find out, that I obviously wasnt a fit anyway. and hung up on me. A fit? A fit for what?! Thats what I was trying to find out myself.These people could have at least sent an updated job listing to my email, but instead they felt calling me with little to no information, with rude undertones and a condescending demeanor, for something. I hadnt even applied for, would get the job done.I wonder now if this is how this company treats their employees. Why would I EVER want to work at a place like that.Obviously I know that PTS ultimately probably doesnt act this way, but its a pretty good example of how a single persons rudeness can get you a bad rap with others. Maybe she was having a bad day, I dont know. All I do know is that this experience has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth, and I probably wouldnt accept anything they offer now.If this is how youre being represented PTS, I would suggest you fix it. Its damaging your image.
