Rudi is amazingly kind and helpful, funny, and is upfront. He doesn’t try to charge you for anything you don’t need. Came highly recommended and I agree!

Rudi was a life saver for us. In the midst of the shelter in place order and with us being from out of town, we found ourselves in the unfortunate circumstance of facing some battery problems. Rudi was the only place to pick up, and offered to help us with our problem even though he was closed. We pulled up and he quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a solution.Although we didn’t need any robust repairs or new parts, I’m sure Rudi is a great place for you to take your car if you’re ever in need.Thanks, Rudi!

I was coming back to the Bay Area on Sunday and my Ranger overheated. I thought it was a heater control valve, that had malfunctioned before, but Rudi found some leaks in a few hoses and fixed them. He even began the inspection on a Sunday. I was on the road again Monday morning with no troubles. He didnt in any way try to look for a bigger problem that wasnt evident. He was a godsend for me. He deserves 7 stars!

Rudi is GREAT. He gave us a very fair price and clearly explained to us what was wrong with our car. He was very friendly and has quite the personality. He even offered to let us sleep in his office if we couldnt afford a motel. Unfortunately, hes also a very busy business men when it comes to the big stuff like replacing an engine. He can definitely get the job done, but hes got other customers as well, so patience is required. Oh, and hes single lol. Grab him while you can ladies. Hes a charmer.

Weve used Rudis for car servicing for a number of years (even before he moved into his current location). Hes always been helpful, polite, and most of all honest. Rudi fixed our car that we were going to junk. Now it works perfect and the price was right. It did take him a while to fix it because of all the problems but the job was perfect. The bad reviews are probably other mechanics that cant stand him offering such low prices for his perfectionist service. Dont listen to them. The service he gave us was fantastic.

Rudi helped me out when my front axels nearly fell apart as I was driving through Ashland. I managed to pull into his shop driveway and he immediately walked out to my car and started helping me. He really does care about his clients, which is so refreshing. My Jeep wound up having to stay a week or so, but Rudi was really good about keeping in contact and letting me know exactly what was going on. He was really budget conscious too which helped make the ordeal much easier to handle. He is honest, caring, and skilled, and I highly recommend him for anyone in the Ashland area needing a good mechanic!

Had some problems on my 1989 ford bronco at like 3pm and my mom told me to call Rudi explaining he’s from where are family is from and all around a great guy and was excited to meet him first expression are a lot happy a made a good one Cus he worked with me 2 hours after closing putting everthing on hold just to help me cause he knew I was going back to SF and needed to get home he took the time and grit for a 73Year old man that works like he’s 40 he does a great job Love he dog loved his son all around a great place that helped me and put my problems first and couldn’t be more greatful he help me get home

The absolute worst service Ive ever had at any shop, he was rude inconsiderate. Uses junk parts and makes excuses for his imperfections. If you want excellent service dont go here.

Descent prices, good timely manner, nice customer service, works on everything and is very knowledgeable.

So disappointed! We have paid Rudi almost $1,000 for repairs and we had to pay another mechanic $1,650 for repairs that he should have done. We told him our car smelled hot and he kept it a full day and said he found nothing wrong and maybe its in our heads and joked, if it catches fire, come back. My wife and I both noticed it was smelling hot several months ago and with summer coming knew it needed something. We paid him and then took it to another mechanic who found that one of our two cooling fans was broken and the other was working at about 50%. We also have a torn hose and leaking gasket, all of which Rudi should have caught. Now were out almost $2,600 and really pissed off that our major car problems were in our heads. We wont ever go back to Rudi and wish we would have gone to McClures to begin with.

This place sucks this stupid guy actually dilluted the oil with another additive and messed up my engine, I had put a camera because i dont trust mechanics and have him recorded. This place sucks dont ever go there!!!!
