Classic event rental was very helpful with my daughter’s wedding. We rented a tent, table, and chairs. Jamie was responsive and everything was delivered, set up, and picked up as scheduled. Delivery guys were good. Thank you classic event rental.

Classic Event Rental is awesome! We worked with them for our wedding and everything was perfect! Closer to our big day we wanted to change parts of our order and they handled the changes seamlessly! Everything was delivered as described and on time! We cannot say enough good things about our experience!

Mixed feelings on their service. Their event coordinator, Megan, was very helpful and responsive to our ever changing needs throughout the wedding planning process. However, no one ever touched base with me prior to the wedding to discuss the arrival/drop off service. I ended up calling them the day before and asked them their timing and to let them know that no one would be at the property in the morning, but if they gave us a heads up we could have somewhere there.They guy told us he was still making the schedule, but would let us know. The very first thing the next morning (~8 or 9a) I got a call that someone was already at the property. No communication or heads up prior. It was quite stressful, because I had him calling the coordinator, then calling me to call her, and so forth so that he could get started.We ended up getting to the venue around 4 and they were STILL there setting up the tent! They ended up not finishing until ~6ish and that required us to push back setting anything up until the day of the wedding (NOT recommended lol).I have no idea why it took them SO long to put up the tent, but my coordinator did tell me that they hung out in their truck for quite a while. Then when they came to pick everything up they couldnt find the equipment they needed to stack the chairs and acted like we misplaced it? Idk the quality of rentals and prices were decent, but it seemed unorganized and thats the last thing you want during your wedding weekend.

Dont fund this persons legal defense fund!!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. They had a business pickup truck attempt to run over and murder a local person and his pet. After several runs they did actually run over this persons pet and possessions, but couldnt successfully run over the human. Its all on video tape, and its horrible and inexcusable. Since then an arrest was finally made at the company. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. Youll be funding this attempted murders defense fund! Read the other reviews here as well.

The owner of this business tried to kill a local homeless man and his beloved cat with a company vehicle.

This is by far my favorite Ace Hardware! The staff is awesome, they have the best BBQ selections, and they are always extremely helpful. Although I did not purchase my Big Green Egg from Ace Hardware the manager Jeff and his staff have always been more than willing to help me process a warranty claim. In fact, the always go above and beyond to help expedite reciept of any replacement parts I have ordered. I can not recommend the Classic Ace enough. I am even okay fighting the Woodruff Road traffic to choose this location over all others!

JUSTICE FOR ALEX AND THOMAS!!! This company doesn’t even deserve the one star I gave. I only gave it to be able to leave a review. Any company that doesn’t value human and/or animal lives isn’t a company that deserves anyone’s business! Trying to cover up a hit and run of a homeless man and his cat...can you get any lower? They need to make the employee who was driving come forward. There is literally NO way they can’t not know who was driving the company vehicle who tried to kill Alex and Thomas. But until then, I wish them nothing but the worst, which is what they deserve for trying to cover it up. I hope your business is ran into the ground!

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible place to work with and for. Disorganized, unfriendly and rude to customers.Also I forgot to mention, allowing an employee(or the owner himself) to stay working after attempting to hit and injure a kind man and his pet. The company is not working with police to figure out who was driving and the owner should be charged accordingly until the driver is found. Accountability folks. Making the right decision gets your further than you think.

Sloppy, irresponsible company. They’ll make a mess of things and take no accountability for their own (very purposeful) mistakes. For a company that is supposed to be a service to the community, they act holier than thou and hellbent on taking money and causing trouble.

If they cant even figure out who was driving their business truck when it tried (repeatedly!) to run over a friendly and defenseless homeless man and his cat, then this business couldnt possibly keep track of the required items for a rental for an important event. Whats of course more disturbing is that they would even want to protect the person who behaved this way. Im deeply saddened by this story (and video) and hope that the owner has a change of heart.

What a shame! Take responsibility for one of your trucks attempting to run a man over! I company that would do this would easily scam you out of money. Rent from anyone else

We used Classic Events for seating, tables and linens for our wedding. Megan was extremely flexible and made continuous changes to our rental order since we had a venue change, multiple guest count changes, and weather related rental changes. The only issue we had was a later pickup time than specified, but they were very responsive once I called and asked about it. I highly recommend them!

Actively obstructing justice. The only reason for not cooperating with the police is because you know you did it and you are guilty.

Planning a wedding is always stressful. Planning a wedding during Covid was absolutely insane!!! As our numbers and rental needs continued to fluctuate, Classic Event Rental worked with us up until the very last day. We appreciate their positivity, helpfulness, and excellent rentals from the bottom of our hearts.

Classic provided all of our rentals for our wedding- tents, tables, chairs, the works! They were a pleasure to work with and even allowed us to delay a rain call for the tent. Everything was perfect and we never worried about the set up or take down. They showed up the next morning and had everything hauled away in hours. Jamie and his crew made our wedding so special. The selection at classic was perfect. We rented amazing margarita glasses for our signature cocktails and beautiful farm tables for dinner. Our venue was a hike out of Asheville in a hard to get to place behind a locked gate and Classic was always on time and had no problems with the location. We are so appreciative for everything they did to make our wedding magical! Thank you!!! Alli and Ryan

Classic Event Rentals was sooooo amazing to work with and very easy. It was the simplest process to just walk in, let them know what we want, and that was it! Jamie was FABULOUS. He made the process enjoyable for us and super fun. Our rented items were beautiful and everything was flawless. I highly suggest using Classic for any event, you will not regret it!

Incredibly disappointed with our experience with Classic. Correspondence took multiple tries on my part(the bride) to reach them every single step of the way. They took weeks to nearly a month at times to even respond to my emails. Not something you want to deal with when you’re trying to plan your wedding. No one contacted me to confirm they received my payment, I was given no direction or asked any questions so I assumed everyone was set and on the same page, but when I arrived to set up at our venue, there were no rentals. when the venue owner called, they had no idea what she was even talking about, no idea they had a delivery that day for my wedding, even though we booked with them well in advance and everything seemed squared away. We were there to set up at 10 am, which is the standard setup time for this venue, and the rentals didn’t arrive until 4 hours later, only 2 hours prior to the wedding. So I was unable to set anything up the way I wanted it and everyone else had to scramble to make it happen. Considering I was required by my venue to use this vendor, I assumed they had a better system or would communicate but clearly not. They just took my money and didn’t care much about the rest is what it felt like. If you can rent with anyone else, do yourself a favor and don’t use this company. Almost ruined the wedding.

We used Classic Event Rental for 2 events last week. They took great care of us! We had to add and change some things to the order at the last minute and they arrived in plenty of time for our event, even when ordered on the day of our gallery opening. The staff was courteous and professional, both on the phone and during delivery. Everything was perfect and we are still talking about how Classic Event Rental helped make us look good. We will definitely use them again!

These folks were really easy to work with! We changed our list of items needed for our event a few times and they rolled with us. Set up and take down was on time and smooth. Well definitely use Classic Event Rental again.

My best friend had her wedding over the weekend and this company was a total let down. They showed up with the wrong size tent for the reception and then acted annoyed when their mistake was brought to their attention. Megan in the office was incredibly rude to the bride and her mother. When they called the office to let them know a 40x40 tent was delivered instead of the 40x80 that was ordered she told them “you get what you get” and was not willing to cooperate. They eventually fixed their mistake, but they brought damaged tent side panels, glasses with lipstick stains that the family had to wash, and didn’t even bring the table runners that were paid for and ordered. They were a total DISAPPOINTMENT.

Good place to rental place

My family recently rented equipment from classic event rental for a small event.The process was easy and we received everything that we requested. I would recommend this company for any event you are having.

My best friend rented a tent, for her wedding, with sidings. when it was put up it was way smaller than what she ordered. we soon realized that the 40x80 tent we ordered was a 40x40. not only that, there were no sidings on the tent! when we called classic event rentals Megan, who works there, was extremely rude with my best friend and her mom! there is no excuse for someone within the industry to be rude to a customer...a paying customer. megan, you should be ashamed of yourself and any name you have in your career.they get everything settled and go to look at the tent and the sidings were damaged/mix matched. my best friend was so calm during the experience because she is not one to want to cause conflict so, didnt say anything.this morning (the day before the wedding) we went to check the space and there were holes in the tent. it was raining and water was flooding the tent. AND her table runners weren’t delivered.classic event rentals is a mess, a disaster, and you’re better off buying everything off amazon and doing it yourself. save yourself and go with another business.

Great folks, easy to work with. We added some last minute things and they were not flustered in the least. The delivery was great, the pick up just as easy and we will use these folks again. They really made the wedding reception look wonderful. Good job!!

We loved using Classic Event Rental for our June wedding at the NC Arboretum! They have a really great selection and were so easy to work with. Ashley and her team were great about keeping up with us throughout the planning process and were extremely helpful setting up on a tight schedule. Ashley even promptly helped our family find a personal item that went missing after our reception - she went above and beyond! When asked who our rental company was, everyone I talked to gushed about how Classic was the best in the Asheville area!

Awful place.

This place has EVERYTHING that you need for the perfect wedding or party. They will build custom pieces & work past midnight, if necessary. Whatever youre thinking, they can make it reality.

They have always done amazing work at all the events. They have done some of the most elegant events to the down to earth ones but no matter what type of events they do theyre all done with utmost respect importance details and care. Theyre really the best of the best.

Trash company

This place is like a revolving door. They hire the homeless and do not test for substance abuse. They act like OSHA is a small town in Michigan , and there will be a good possibility that there are open beer cans in the drivers trucks. These are all the things I have personally witnessed on the site.

A friend of mine recommended Classic Event Rental to me, she has a great experience. I am getting married spring of next year. I called and spoke with Megan about pricing rentals for chairs, dinnerware along with a few other things specifically. Not only was she extremely educated on the prouducts they offer. She even took the tome to help give me ideas on how to use the tables we discusessed with the sizes I was interested in. I’ve not received that kind of assistance from any other place I’ve called about rentals or just wedding things in general. I look forward to confirming my rental soon with Megan specifically.

They were great at first and through the process up until the day of but afterward was a completely different story! We received a $200 bill for missing catering coolers that neither we nor anyone else who attended our wedding have in possession. I live 900 miles away from our venue site and could not go search for them physically myself and multiple calls and emails to the caterer, venue, and rental staff were either ignored and/or unreturned. They either didnt reply or passed the buck. I didnt think I would have to keep an eye on all the equipment while I was having my wedding reception but if you have this company you better or it could cost you!***UPDATE*** I have since received a check reimbursing me for the missing coolers and Classic Event Rental apologized for the mix-up. I am grateful for this and it shows they do care!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. If I had to describe my experience working with them for my wedding in one word, it would be DISASTER. My wedding was on a Saturday. Classic sent their crew out on Friday to set up everything we needed. My family and I planned to have everything out and ready on Friday so we werent stressed on the day of the wedding. The crew arrived at 1:30pm on Friday. At 7:30pm, NOTHING was done. The crew was standing around a bunch of poles (for our tent), talking to each other and playing on their phones. They literally did nothing but push around a few poles around for six hours. For reference: it should take 45 minutes MAX set up. I paid Classic to have their crew set up everything for me: tent, tables, and chairs. Well, by 9:00pm, nothing was set up except the tent. And even that wasnt set up well (even though it took them seven hours to set up!!). My husband and his friends had to rig it together the next morning to keep the sides from flapping around everywhere. So, instead of having a majority of the set-up done on Friday, barely anything was done. Stacks of tables and chairs were thrown random throughout the yard. I woke up at 4am on the morning of MY WEDDING to make up for their incompetence and set everything up.My experience with Classic from beginning to end has been a never-ending, frustrating mess. Even before the day of set-up, I constantly had to email and call them numerous times to get answers to simple questions. Even two days before my wedding, I couldnt get in touch with them to finalize plans. Oh, also - so much of the dinnerware and glassware was chipped/broken when it arrived - it was unusable.I know theres not a ton of places to rent from in Asheville, but save yourself the migraine and go with literally anyone but them.

I have to say that Classic Event Rentals in Asheville, NV goes above and beyond for their clients! From late evening calls to confirm details to bringing linens hung on individual hangers (which eliminates all those wrinkles), their service and products are outstanding. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your party or wedding needs!
