Last Friday the UPS driver came by saying he had a package but he couldn’t find it. He was nice on that day… He showed up today with the package, and a paper for me to sign. It’s a Monday so I wouldn’t be too happy either….I’ve got a missing package, so I reported it missing. He explained where he left it in my driveway on a marker for an electric line.(not in my driveway, on a right away) It wasn’t there when I had checked, it wasn’t there when he checked. I asked him if it could have been stolen, he said it would have been by someone I knew. Absolutely not true. My husband and I are having issues with people all over our land right now cutting stuff down. I believe it was taken because he was pretty sure that he 100% delivered the package. I called cooperate and asked them, they said he will not be fired from his position for a lost package. This isn’t the first time UPS misplaced my packages either.He seems nice until he’s had a bad Monday. We already have a replacement coming, so I’m not sour about the situation, just wish UPS would have come up to the driveway instead of leaving packages everywhere for people to take. FedEx delivered with no issues the first time I got packages through them.I hope my driver has a better day.Edit to the reply given;Thank you for reply back, the package I received today was in amazing shape, I am only hoping it was the Monday blues. I have reached out to corporate office about my package, and I’ve mentioned it on Facebook as well. Personal experience is to keep you customers happy, and with the Monday blues being as strong as they were today, she should have put on a Jack of all trades face. I’ve had to do that many times, even got the nickname “Smiley” because of it. I’ve changed my rating because you reply to my post. Have a wonderful day, and hopefully I’ll get to see the driver again. He seemed pretty cool! (And my package wasn’t t wrecked!)

I have a clear sign on the gate of my front porch. Please place packages over the gate. UPS always puts the package on the top step and I can’t get to it with my current disability. I have actually, more than once, seen Fed Ex have the decency, after placing their delivery over the gate, take the UPS package and place it over the gate as well. The gate is a baby gate and going over it might require 10 more seconds of their time. The only way I can get the package is knocking it down the front steps and retrieving. There is courtesy and then there is UPS.

My packages arrived beat to hell and the boxes were busted with the ends open! Last month the Ups driver destroyed my driveway! I hate Ups! If i order something else and if it comes Ups! I will cancel the order! They destroy either your driveway or packages! Fed Ex respects your driveway and packages! No issues with them! Its the idots they hire for Ups! They dont know how to respect packages or personal property!

Last week a package to be delivered to me went to another building on campus. Yesterday it was delivered downstairs, again not to me, and all the frozen food was thawed. Not happy. My regular fellow must be on vacation and his replacement is a horrible excuse for good service. I have always had the best service until now. Please fire this man,

Aside from the screwed up deliveries, the stacking boxes clearly marked “Do not stack, the packages I regularly receive of my neighbors. The animated answering they use is a total POS. UPS is worse than the Postal Service.

I literally tried to cancel my T-Mobile order immediately after purchase when I realized they would be shipping my new phone with UPS. I even tried to pay them to ship my phone through FedEx but no luck. As expected Ive sat waiting by the door from 10 a.m. when I received a message that the package was out for delivery, and it is now 8:44 p.m. with no sign of my package. The rage I feel cannot be expressed through words but I going forward I will do everything in my power to avoid doing any business with companies that ship with UPS.

I was expecting a package. The seller didnt indicate their shipping method. UPS left me a message to call a certain phone number. I tried calling the number repeatedly through out the day. No one ever answered. I tried calling the number from which the UPS person called. No one answered. This went on all day. I finally called the 800 number and fought with the automated system until I was able to get hold of a real person. She was very nice and understanding. She was able to talk me through what needed to be done. It was only because of her that I was able to receive my package.I should have never been given a phone number to call that no one was going to answer! That was a waste of time and a cause of unnecessary anxiety!

Everything that comes out of this facility is late... I watched them pull up to my driveway last night, only to drive away.Delivery was rescheduled for today... Received the email that the driver was arriving, looked at the live tracker and the truck was driving back to Asheville... Hopefully you deliver on saturday to make up for incompetence.Update:Andrew and Taylor remedied the issue... It appears they had a lazy driver on my route.

This is the second time a driver has left our package on or by a neighbors fence and has stated that package was delivered to our address. First time was near Christmas when a package was left in the snow by neighbors pasture gate. By the way, package plastic bag ws ripped and box was wet from snow. This time a relatively expensive item was left by the fence and driver again said it was delivered to our address. It must be the same inconsiderate driver. Ashville shipping depot needs to get it together.

They were supposed to deliver Me The replacement to my special services phone this evening By 9 PM. June 19, 2020. It is 1:16 AM June 20. They won’t be open till Monday.I don’t get it till then. It was promised to be delivered by 9 PM as it was a urgent device. This phone wasn’t just any phone. I’m a disabled adult and I need a phone to contact my lawyers, doctors, emergency help, and other services that are provided to me daily. My health team sent me a replacement phone through their company, and made sure to put it with UPS so it would arrive Quicker. I live in a toxic environment as a disabled adult. I’m glad to have my tablet, but I’m not sure how to access emergency services this way since it doesn’t make phone calls. Don’t put promised delivery on the tracking if your drivers are not gonna show up. You have no idea what are in these packages, and a lot of those packages are medical, and/or supplies for people in my situation. Spending a weekend in my environment without a phone, Whether to call for help, or access my services, because you called it a night and didn’t stand by your as promised statement, Is irresponsible. I can’t even call later today because they’re closed Saturday and Sunday. Any other time I have a package as well they just set it wherever they want. It’s like they play an Easter egg hunt with your items. I’m going to report this, and I’m going to make sure it sticks. You made a promise to the people that ship this to me it would arrive Friday, June 19. You assured them that my services phone would be here because you understood the urgency. If that were true I would have that phone with me now. I feel absolutely horrible and sad. If something were to happen to me, that will stand over your head. Believe that.

Whomever delivers to our house in Weaverville, our dogs love you. We see you on the camera waiving at them though the porch window and talking to them. When they see the brown truck drive by they get very excited. I think they get sad if it doesn’t stop. Btw, thank you for the great service too.

Worst experience with a delivery service has been with UPS. I ordered a laptop from Best Buy and it was supposed to be delivered the next day. One week later and here I am, still no laptop, and to make it worse, they dont know where it is either. I was told Ill either get it by the 24th of this month or Ill be refunded by the 28th. If i were a betting man, Id say Ill see my refund on the 28th because this level of incompetence makes me skeptical of the entire company. I tried to call that awful 1-800 number of theirs and there isnt even an option to speak to an agent. At all. And if you dont have an account with UPS it pretty much wont even give you options. Best Buy and UPS have totally lot all future business from me. They dont care a bit about issues their customers have.

I have lived at the same address for 35 years. I receive packages about 3 times a week, but when it comes to UPS I keep having the same problem. they claim there is no such address, but you can google it and it comes right up. I have received packages delivered by UPS in the past with much difficulty. With this being the holidays, this is very disheartening. I wish I could choose my carrier from the companies I order from. I had one package returned with no notifications until it was returned. Not a happy camper. Now waiting for a very important package and again, it is saying there is a problem with the address!!

We had a miscommunication from our amazon seller. Ups tried to deliver and couldnt get a signature so they sent our package to the sweeten creek facility. we had to pick up our package and could only get there due to covid related transportation issues during the closed hours around 2:30pm on tuesday. Miss Rebecca got us our package even though the office was closed and was extremely helpful and professional! She saved us from having to just let package get sent back to the seller. It was a heater and it is cold outside. THANK YOU MS. REBECCA!!!! Stellar customer service!

I generally dislike UPS as a company I e never received my items on time. Whenever I’m able to schedule a pickup the staff is rude it takes 10-15 minutes to locate my items, If I Could I Use Fed Ex for all my deliveries but that option is not available.

UPS seems to be falling apart, at least in its Asheville, NC, unit. Two recent orders of alcoholic spirits were put on delivery trucks in Asheville but then within a few hours UPS claimed the shipments were damaged, delivery was stopped and the sender was notified. I wonder if some UPS employees are having a party?!?A few weeks ago, an order of expensive meat arrived spoiled because of a delay of more than three days from promised delivery date. Who wants to eat steak that has sat in the sun for days?Just today, UPS claimed to have delivered a package to our home and left on the front porch, but it is not here. This is a common problem.I could go on and on about UPS delivery problems, but whats the point? The company doesnt care, and of course it blames the problems on Covid-19 rather than UPS incompetence.I would recommend you not use UPS to ship anything to or from the Asheville unit. Fedex and the U.S. Post Office do a much better job that UPS.

Hours were arbitrarily changed during the holidays. When you call support, they claim they have no way to contact the facility to determine what hours this facility will actually be open.We are firmly in the 21st century, it is embarrassing that company the size of UPS cant seem to manage something as simple as updating their hours on Google Maps or at least with their own support department!This review is a direct reflection on *management*, the staff I interact with in this facility seem to do a fine job.

WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVER!!!!!I placed an order with Amazon and they sent it through UPS. I never received my package when I called in to report a missing package all I got was the run around and switched from person to person with no results. Pretty sorry In my opinion. Apparently drivers cant read addresss. Whichever one delivers on Springside Road is either cant read or count. This is the second time they have not delivered packages to our address. Maybe they need to go back to school and learn how to read and count again. Personally this is so uncalled for. Got a email yesterday saying my packages have been delivered. Yet no where to be found. Walked up the driveway figuring they left them on the side of the road as they did the last time. Only to luckily catch my neighbor and they left them on their porch. And even the wrong address it is clearly marked on the house 72 not 74 where the packages were supposed to go.

OMG - How irresponsible can you be? Medicine (obviously as it was shipped next day delivery from a pharmacy) - and they hold it for a week - not contacting anyone, the recipient or sender... until I track it down. The pharmacy simply said - these guys are idiots and I cant deal with them and youll have to call. So, I arrange for the package to be sent to this location for pickup. They close for 3 freaking hours during lunch, so you have to go after you get off work. I get there about 5:20 (they are supposed to stay open till 6:30) and a sign is posted on the door - sorry for the inconvenience, closing early. REALLY?????????? AND THEN - the kicker - the second time Ive called the 800# provided by UPS... finally I asked the person - where are you located -- was told Manila. So, they outsource their call center outside of the US on top of all of this. Next package shipped will NOT be by UPS. Unfortunately, you have to select a Star --- I would have liked to given them a minus 10.

They are horrible. They act like they are doing you a favor to do their jobs. I thought they were getting paychecks. I know that I’m paying for delivery. Drivers get tired of delivering, and simply go home. Fire the no loads and hire people with some pride in themselves. Not these excuse making slackers.

Ive had multiple issues with UPS due to living up a gravel road which they will not drive up to deliver to my house. Therefore, I must go pick up my packages at this location all the way from Candler. On more than one occasion, after I call customer service and put in a request for my packages to be held, my packages still end up on a truck out for delivery day after day. I know theyre busy this time of year, but the lack of organization is unparalleled. I was also annoyed that the other day I asked the man working there in person to make a note to hold the packages, and he said I would have to call the 800 number to do so. I called and did as he said, and today went to get my packages because I had an email saying they were there. Well, they werent. They were on a truck again. This man, a different one, lo and behold, got on the computer right there and marked them to be held.... just what the other guy said he couldnt do. Hopefully tomorrow my packages will be there.

Ordered 1000 dollars of parts to be delivered by Wednesday 7/15/20 that day no package then tracking showed address correction had been done then the tracking shows delayed for one day delivery schedule for friday so it finally showed up at 4:30 and was left on the front porch and package was torn all to hell will never us them again if its left up to me sorry service and very destructive to packages

Obviously does not like to work. Refused to deliver on time, because my road is to small for a truck. When 18 wheelers go to the top of the road. This is a two lane road like any other place. Then the girl on the phone got rude. Had to make arrangements to go pick up the package myself. A bum would work better than these people.

Drove all the way to this facility because their customer service reps told me thats where my package was, only to arrive and be told that the driver had not yet arrived with the package... This couldve been avoided by simply ANSWERING THE PHONE.

Completely incompetent careless drivers... I have never worked in shipping/delivery but common sense tells me that packages should be delivered in logical places for the recepent to find them, like by the mail box or near the door of the residence. It seems that my driver is missing this thing called common sense, as he feels that delivering my package consists of placing it beside the river, nearly a tenth of a mile from my house and over 100 yards from the mail box, off the side of the bridge our driveway crosses. This is the fourth package that has been placed there, and todays was delivered 3 days ago before we found it this evening. For a billion dollar company, thats sole mission is shipping, customer service should be top priority. UPS needs to consider a major overhaul if this is the quality of service they provide at every level of this international business.

Large warehouse with nightmare parking. It was super busy first thing on morning all the trucks going out and parking limited. However once I parked, the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly. Bring your drivers license to pick up your package.

I wanted to share that Amazon will “unprioritize” UPS as a carrier for you, if you’re like I am and have had endless issues with your UPS delivery. Contact amazon customer service for this. UPS in the Asheville area is horrible.

Had two packages that were never delivered because they could not find the address although I live on a major street with the house number clearly posted. My items were returned to sender with the only notice/warning I received being a postcard in my mailbox (my address does exist!) from UPS (delivered by the US Postal Service- ha!) saying that I had to pick the items up at UPS... by the day before the postcard arrived. I have had countless packages from every major shipping company delivered to this address. After 2 hours of waiting for UPS to reopen, and 20 minutes of being on hold with the call center I was told to contact the sender to have the items reshipped (nope, they couldnt stop the package in transit). Poor service. Poorly trained drivers. Poor resolution of the issue.

I have 6 packages that should have been delivered January 2018 Friday the 19th!!!! They still have not made it by the Tuesday the 23rd due to weather related issues!!! It has been 60 degrees since last Thursday the 18th! The snow has been gone since Thursday!!! The driver is lying and should be fired!!! I have been getting packages at my home for 18 years without a problem!!!! NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED!!!! I tried to talk to someone on the phone and he said it is too late the DRIVER already put in it was unable to deliver due to weather related issues!! REALLY!!!!!

Package requiring a signature was supposed to be delivered between 11 am - 3 pm. I waited until 6 pm and no package arrived. The next day I was to be out of town, so I opted (on the UPS website) to have the package left with a neighbor the following day. Tracking said it would be delivered between 11 am - 3 pm. Then at approximately 2 pm, the tracking site changed the delivery time to “end of day”. It is now 9 pm and still no delivery. Anytime I purchase an item online that has more than one shipping option, I will choose any company other than UPS from now on.

Terrible! They lost $1100 worth of my items in two weeks. Christmas would have been ruined if it hadnt been for the customer service people at Amazon who shipped me replacements, which UPS still delivered late and damaged the box. Luckily the wrapping paper covered the hole in the box and the items inside were not damaged. The most recent was supposedly turned over to the post office according to their website, but then their website also says that I contacted them and asked to have it held at the shipping hub which is an absolute lie! Avoid shipping anything with UPS! Go with FedEx if at all possible!

Well was sent a email my package was deliverd but no package for the past at least year the driver would just drop it off at the mail boxes instead of at my door but I see them deliver to my neighbor across from me to his door .well now I have no package and they cant tell me what was done with it they ate so sorry when it comes to helping you out when its their sorry ass drivers that wont do their job

The working people have no consideration for an elderly couple. A driver was seriously inconsiderate and nearly leveled us as my poor grandmother was struggling to get out of the car. Couldnt they just wait one second for a lady.
