I went today to get my eyebrows waxed. I AM SO UPSET, she was “NEW” apparently she took half of my brow hair off, didnt even ask me what shape i wanted or anything just started waxing of the hair, she never once marked where the wax was supposed to go… you can now take a $5 uber ride between my brows she got them so far apart and super thin… I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK HERE. I even spoke to the manager and she proceeded to tell me that i was wrong and she didnt see anything wrong with them… If someone has corporate number i will be reporting the lady who did my eyebrows and the manager…You can see how upset i am.

Just got my brows done by Maya and theyre amazing!! Seriously - the best eyebrow wax/shaping Ive had done in years. I cant stop looking in the mirror! Ive definitely found my brow wizard - highly recommend

I have been going to Elizabeth for years and I absolutely love her work. She is the only person I will let touch my eyebrows, she also does my Brazilian and underarms. She is extremely efficient with her waxing but does not make you feel like you are being rushed. She takes the time to make personal connections while also keeping it professional. If you are looking for a wax specialist in the Asheville area, I highly recommend seeing Elizabeth.

I had my first ever Brazilian wax today very nervous already (understandable) and Elizabeth is the one who “helped” me today, worst experience she was in such a hurry to get me in and out of there, didn’t take into consideration I was already nervous also drove an hour here with my friend for this. She brought me in and had an attitude the whole time especially when I told her I bought the Brazilian after she just tried to only wax a tiny bit, the wax was so hot, she huffed and puffed the whole time, told me hair was too short to wax (def not). Usually don’t leave reviews but if you schedule I advise to not with her at all unless you want a terrible and uncomfortable time. Now I am sitting in Asheville getting brunch with half hair and half not down there and a terrible rash ((: Julie my friend had sounded wonderful compared to Elizabeth and my experience!

I always make an appointment to see Maya and she is awesome! However, every time I go to see her she is “running behind.” I had an appointment today at 10am and was told she was running 15-20 minutes late.After waiting 25 minutes a lady came out excited about how amazing her Brazilian was and was super excited that her friend (who went in to see Maya right after her at 10:20!!!) was going to feel after she had hers. Please remember, my appointment time was 10:00am. There is no way that a wax specialist could be running that far behind if they are truly following the schedule. I hate how they treat their clients who aren’t friends with the front desk staff.Needless to say, I had to leave without getting my eyebrows done ( definitely not the first, or even the second or third time this has happened) because I had to get to work.They clearly don’t care about what their clients think of them, this all happened today during a corporate visit!

Loved Tessa!! Had a wonderful first experience...but...today I was 6 min late for my 3 pm appt. because I had to pick my kid up from school....and they turned me away at the door!! Needless to say...I came back at 445...because this place is sooo dang good!

Came here twice. The 1st time was incredible - smooth legs for weeks. The 2nd time I left with much of my leg hair intact and layers of missing skin. Felt like a complete waste of money and now, 2 weeks later Im back to shaving every other day. Perhaps the training offered to staff is insufficient? Or stress levels are high behind the scenes? Either way I will be finding a different place for waxing services.

Brooke is my waxer and she is AMAZING! So professional and thorough! EASILY the best Brazilian wax I have ever had. She was so welcoming and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She also helped me get the correct products I needed to get the most out of my wax. Brooke is the best and Im so excited to be her client! I LOVE getting my Brazilian done here. I recommend anyone that’s willing to try it out to go to my Wax specialist Brooke; she is amazing. She’s always professional and makes everything comfortable and never awkward. After months of getting this done by her it is almost completely pain free. She recommended some really great products that reduce ingrown hairs and some wipes that lighten dark spots, and WOW have they made a difference. My lady bits has never looked so good, not to mention the wax last almost a month. The checkout girls are always so friendly as well. I’ve heard plenty of good things about the owner as well, this is a small business I love to support. With everything being said you have to go to this place!! You won’t regret it.

Very disappointed that I booked an appointment days in advance and waited 40+ minutes outside upon arrival without ever getting service because I had to leave and didn’t have time to keep an appointment that was 45-60 minutes late.I was never offered information about the reason for delay or apologies or anything. Everyone else who showed up within the hour that I waited entered immediately.I was able to schedule an appointment with another salon in South Asheville as I left and had a great experience there the next day. The service was on time, professional, and I was able to do it during my lunch hour.

I had a great experience here with my waxer julie. she was very professional and made me feel so comfortable for my first brazilian everything was perfect. however my friend came along with me to get her first brazilian as well, and had a terrible experience and we will both never return to this location because of that. she paid for a full brazilian and left with well over 60% of her hair still there because her waxer rushed her out, had an attitude the whole time and huffed and puffed when she told her she was getting a full brazilian after she realized there was hair still there. being an esthetician myself i found this very disappointing and unprofessional.

I don’t ever write reviews however, I showed up at 8:30a (on a Monday) when they open and checked the website before to see if they accept walk-ins. Although it was empty inside and only one customer walked in they refused to take me! I understand if they were slammed and busy but they weren’t. I have been to European Wax Center before and I was just thrown off by this interaction/policy.

After some research my friend and I decided to get a Brazilian from European Wax center. I’m plus size so of course I was a little doubtful on how it would go. We both ended up getting Brooke and if you are going for a Brazilian ASK FOR HER! This was my first time getting waxed but I already know she’s the best. Made me feel extremely comfortable and the process was nothing. The highest pain level was a 3 out of 10 for me, so not bad at all. Great experience. I will be back in 4 weeks!

Upgrading from an eyebrow wax at the nail salon to eyebrow shaping with Ms. Brooke is like upgrading from a 90’s civic to a Ferrari. I booked my 2nd app with her within an hour of my appointment. Picasso, Rembrandt, Matisse, would all throw away their brushes and have an existential breakdown about the quality of their work if they were blessed enough to witness her artistry.

The reviews do not lie- Brooke is amazing! Efficient, skilled, attentive to detail and lovely to chat with the whole time. Id recommend her to anyone seeking services in Asheville!

I’ve been going to EWC for about a year now (took a break for quarantine) came back and had Brooke (maybe I’m horrible with names ugh she had braids and silvery blonde hair) as my aesthetician for a full Brazilian and OMG SHE WAS AMAZING!!! Amazing positive attitude and extremely knowledgeable about what she was doing. She explained why she was doing what she was doing and always kept me smiling even tho she was ripping the hair out of my body with hot wax. I’ve never had a better experience!! She’s amazing!!!!!

I purchased a pass and apparently my last payment didnt go through. I was not told this until 3 months later after getting a service (even though I went once a month after it happened). The whole time thinking it was paid and hadnt budgeted to pay extra the day of the service.My latest waxer is lovely though which is why I continue to go to them.Update to previous review: I received a call from the manager of the location and she was very helpful in clarifying all of the issues as well as explaining everything. They have updated their systems to prevent the same issues from occurring. Now that everything has been addressed Im updating my review to 5 stars since I have no other issues.There are other places where you could get waxed, but Ive been doing it for years in several cities across the US and EWC has always provided me with the best quality service.

I would give this place 5 stars I was going to a person regularly she was the best even for my very first time. I made her my regular person. Well she left. I made an appointment Wednesday to this new girl. The most horrible experience ever. I will never rebook with her again. And when I got home to shower she was so rough it burned and she left hair.... now your supposed to be able to go back and get touched up on what they missed the next day I couldn’t because I was sore. I called to report it I was told the manager would call me back in 24/48 hours have yet to get a call. The one star is for this experience all my past experiences have been fine with Shae... Just wanted to add to this review today is Aug. 26, 2020 and the management from this place has yet to call back and say two words I even called them and left a voicemail no return call. I will never return to this place not in Asheville anyways. This was a horrible experience I will tell everyone that ask me about it this Establishment. For $55 I shouldn’t have left that place sore. Period. Also poor management 5 months later no I’m sorry for your experience no nothing.

It was my first time to get a bikini full and I went with BROOKE. She was amazing and super patient since I’m a wimp when it comes to waxing .if you want to get a wax, go with her !

This is my second time going to European Wax center & I will not be back to this place! Simply because I came for a Brazilian Wax and left with hairs still visible. The waxer said if you still have some hairs then we will get those next time... Uhmmm No that’s what I came for is to get all the hairs removed. The wax is also very hard & Hot! I will not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry!

Needing a little clean up action in the bikini area or a fix up on the brows? This is definitely the place to go! I always go here for very well done and quick Brazilian waxes. Shaye is absolutely the best and makes each visit comfortable. They never use sugar wax and strips like some places do that can leave bruising and irritation. Plus the girls at the front are always so friendly. You’ll always come out looking and feeling your best when you leave here. Definitely recommend going here.

I hate to do this, but yesterdays appointment has left me absolutely devestated.For reference, Haley shaped my brows in the Before picture on the left. She did NOT perform the service I received yesterday, shown in the After photo on the right. I will not name names in order to preserve this persons dignity.I could write a sonnet on how angry, distraught, confused, and shocked I am about the 2/3rds brows I left the salon with. I could choose not to write this review, and just accept the apology and solutions offered by the gracious management team.However, it would be a disservice not to let people know what could happen to them if they get the wrong tech or go at the wrong time.Its more than missing a part of my eyebrows; it has altered the appearance of my entire face. Its been a devastating blow to my self-esteem, and worst of all, it will require countless hours of filling in and touching up for the next few weeks-months before I start looking normal again.Right now Im too traumatized to say if Ill ever go back or let someone touch my eyebrows again. The skin around them still swells and stings- a painful reminder of what used to be there.If I choose to face my fears and resume my long-term treatment plan with Haley, I will update my review to reflect the quality of her services. For now, this review serves as a warning and testament of the most jarring and upsetting hair service Ive ever experienced to-date.I appreciate the teams sincere apologies, but they dont have to face these monstrosities in the mirror every day.

I have nothing but great things to say about European Wax Center of Asheville! Employees were super friendly and the center was very clean! I happened to get my eyebrows waxed... I have super sensitive skin so in the past, I would expect swelling and redness for at least 2 hours after session but not here! My swelling and redness was gone within 25 minutes, AMAZING! Bonus: no harsh chemicals or products tested on animals! Highly recommend this center for all your waxing needs.
