While we were on vacation, we recently had a water leaking into our basement from our outside water spigot. My mother-in-law was there to take care of our animals. She was able to stop the leak, but not before a significant amount of water went all over the carpet and the walls in the basement. I called and talked with Rick and Pam. They had Billy and Jimmy show up the following day and they determined that something needed to be done right away. They were able to control the mold and get everything dry by the weekend (we had contractors coming the next Monday to update our upstairs bathrooms). My mother-in-law had so many nice things to say about Billy (he was the one that was there the most). She liked Jimmy too. I highly recommend Appalachian Restoration & Cleaning. Good people!!!

We had water damage in our basement due to some heavy rain that caused flooding. We called Appalachian Restoration and Cleaning, and we had help at our house the same afternoon! The service was prompt and thorough. They explained what was being done and made sure that our basement was dry...and safe! I would definitely recommend them and would use them again!

We can say enough good things about Appalachian Restoration! The gas logs in our house malfunctioned and covered the house in soot resulting it major damages throughout the whole house. Insurance hired a company to come in and clean and after failing to do the job I called Appalachian. Rick and Dewayne wasted no time starting the restoration and sent a team in immediately. I was amazed just how thorough their team was while cleaning our house. They cleaned everything and left no spot untouched in a week. After that they also handled the painters, dry cleaners, and all projects around in the house and we were back to normal life in less than 2 weeks! We rented a beautiful home in Asheville, and just after we moved in I started feeling ill and asthmatic. If my husband or I spent any time in or near the basement we would get a terrible headache. I called Appalachian Restoration and (with permission from the home owner) Rick came to inspect the house. He found mold in two rooms of the house, and a few other issues, however he uncovered a serious issue in the basement with black mold and a potential issue with an improperly decommissioned fuel tank. Because of Rick’s expertise, and because the home owner was not interested in fixing the issue, we were able to get out of the lease and find a healthier home. I am incredibly grateful for Rick and Appalachian Restoration. Rick was professional, very knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!

We had spots on our ceilings, had no idea what they were from. I called them and they answered immediately, whereas, with other companies I had to leave messages. Turned out it was soot damage from a malfunctioning gas fireplace. Every employee we came in contact with was so professional and yet comforting. Rick went to bat with our insurance company. They have been great to work with. Rick and his team have done restoration work on several of our homes and they always answer the call, anytime of day, no matter the severity of the loss. Everything from a small toilet leak to 8 feet of water in the basement. We couldnt be more happy with their honesty and quality of work. LOVED working with Rick and Pam and all of the crew. They went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and what I wanted. They have Sani-Glazed floors, cleaned carpets and floors and replaced floors for us and are now pressure washing our building. I will use them every chance I get.

Appalachian was a wonderful company to do business with. We had a kitchen pipe burst, and they were out within an hour to begin restoration on our home. Professional, timely, and courteous people. They are the only stop for restoration or textile cleaning.
