Tyler delivers a high level of service at a very fair price. My wife and I chose the service to tour the Hendersonville Wine Trail. Tyler has knowledge of the area, engaged in comfortable conversation, and surprised us with delicious snacks to accompany the (plentiful) wine along the way. The best part was when we pulled up to a vineyard with limited public space due to a wedding. The line to get in extended down the road but due to Tylers connections there was a table waiting on us. After sitting us down and setting us up with a massive charcuterie platter several people politely came by to ask us who he/we were and how we did that. It was a great experience!

This is the VERY best transportation and tour company in Asheville. Tyler has the best customer service. Can’t recommend highly enough. He does day tours of the area as well - the top spots for waterfalls, swim holes, wine tours, etc.

Fantastic! We spent 3 days with Tyler and Backcountry Butler. Wish we could give him 10 stars. We had private tours each day and saw areas of Asheville we never would have visited without Tyler. From wineries to water falls to superb views we saw it all. Tyler is beyond professional, fantastic personality, and extensive knowledge of the area. He went over and above each time we were him. He also took us to the Charlotte Airport and his vehicles are very clean, beautiful, water and snacks available. We recommend Backcountry Butler without reservation!!!

I have traveled the world and I can honestly say this experience was at the top of the list. The service was fantastic! From the first moment to the last it was a pleasurable experience. The owner established contact from the moment we landed and hand delivered us to our hotel. He was polite, respectful, and made the trip so much fun. He made us feel at home and told us about the places we were seeing on our drive. My wife loved every second of it. The champagne, the strawberries, and all the amenities in the Mercedes were exceptional. The service this company provides is top of the line and unmatched. We hired Tyler to take us around to wineries/breweries in the area. He told us facts about the area as well. He picked all the best wineries/breweries so I did not have to do the research. He provided very yummy food too. Went above & beyond. Super nice. Hire him!

Tyler was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! I could tell I wanted to book them immediately from how responsive, professional, and accommodating he was from my very first email. Great value, too! We used Backcountry Butler for two vans for wedding party transportation to and from our venue, as well as our Mercedes getaway vehicle. It was a solid 30 minute drive up and down a mountain, so comfort was important to us. The van driver was great - he let us play music, cranked up the AC, and offered us all snacks/drinks. Then, the getaway car was so classy, comfortable, and relaxing! The driver was super friendly and accommodating, and we really appreciated the snacks and drinks after not being able to eat most of the night! I highly recommend Backcountry Butler!

Absolutely amazing. We booked them for the bridal party and grooms party to be taken to our venue. Also booked a get away car at the end of the night. Tyler and his team were completely professional and well prepared. They had snacks and drinks for us upon pick up. I had a bottle of wine put into the get away car for our ride to the hotel. I highly recommend Backcountry Butler! Backcountry Butler made our Thanksgiving a great one by driving my elderly father to and from Asheville and Raleigh, NC. Not only did my dad enjoy riding in style, Tylers responsiveness and thoughtfulness made it a stress-free transport for me. He thought of everything--even asking ahead of time what kind of drinks and snacks my father would like for the drive, and asking whether my dad had any medical problems or medications he needed to be aware of. Tyler communicated with me throughout the drive and delivered him back and forth safely and as importantly, happily! Needless to say, the car was gorgeous too. Ive already booked him for another ride.

Tyler and his team did a magnificent job helping my wife and son during their recent trip to Asheville. Not only did he transport them from and to the airport but also took them to a grocery store after they arrived. When my wife needed a medication picked up urgently from a pharmacy late one evening, all she needed to do was to call Tyler, and his team took care of everything. I would not hesitate to use his service again; he and his team are fantastic!

We had a awesome 3.5 mile hike to the Graveyard Fields Falls. We stopped at scenic viewing areas on the way and were provided with water & snacks.

This is a wonderful transportation service! We hired Backcountry Butler to drive us from out Wedding venue to downtown Asheville. It was our “exit” vehicle (so very ceremonious, we wanted something special) and we loved it!First, the customer service is phenomenal! Tyler responded very quickly when we emailed him, answered all of our questions and gave us the peace of mind we needed while planning our big day. He is very easy to work and communicate with! In addition, the service rates are very competitive and very affordable (especially for the excellent service they provide!).The vehicle we left our wedding in was perfect! A beautiful, new Range Rover (fitting, because we have family who work for the company), stocked with snacks, water and “Just Married” on the back!! The snacks were SO needed after all of that dancing and talking. The interior of the vehicle was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable! Tyler was such a lovely conversation as he drove us to Asheville. He is a very kind and genuine man. We were very thankful to have his company that evening. I set up for Backcountry Butler to be my get away car for my wedding. I decided to go with them from all of their 5 star reviews. I received confirmation from them personally about booking a car and they also corresponded with my wedding planner that everything was set. Come wedding night they were no where to be found. My planner called them several times asking where they were and every time she called they gave her a different story. They never showed and my parents ended up taking us to our hotel after our wedding. Very disappointing. We never received any kind of apology or anything from them either only mixed up stories the night of. I hope others have a better experience, but wanted to let people know that I trusted them based off of their reviews and they failed to follow through for me.

Back Country Butler took my wife and I around the Biltmore estate in their very comfortable Mercedes Benz while our driver answered our questions and told us so much about the property. Then on to the Blue Ridge Parkway to look at the amazing colors of fall. The picnic was top notch and we loved every minute of it. Backcountry Butler is an incredibly reliable and innovative car service. We used them for transportation from the Charlotte Airport to Hendersonville, and around Hendersonville quite a bit. The cars are equipped with (and I know I am forgetting some things, but here is a partial list) various snacks, water, wifi, bluetooth, an ipad with all the apps (including netflix), earphones...the drivers are professional and superpunctual (they arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointment). They are courteous, the cars are clean, and the driving is very safe, and yet efficient. We used them as a taxi service, and felt very indulged. But, they are expanding, and offer a number of other related services as well, like tours, etc. I highly recommend Backcountry Butler -- they are truly fantastic.

Wonderful experience, very luxurious ride. Our driver, Tyler was right on time and the Mercedes we rode in was extremely clean and comfortable. Tyler knew a lot about the Biltmore and Blue Ridge but also provided tablets for us to look up more information if we chose to do so. The weather wasnt the best but Tyler had a back up plan and we throughly enjoyed being escorted by him. I would highly recommend Backcountry Butler to anyone who is considering a visit to the Biltmore Estate and surrounding areas.
