Extremely quick to get in and out due to covid now so no complaints when it usually can take SEVERAL hours .

Randolph DSS remove files to make there county look better, I have found out my ex wife cases has been removed, yes thats right removed, I called SBI and Raleigh DSS, I hope they dont cover it up, and hope for all kids they take them down.

Have used services twice, as they did a great job under sometimes difficult circumstances. Simple, easy, and generally pretty fast if you correctly understand and follow the processes and present the info and documents requested in a timely fashion. Staff is usually friendly and helpful, or when faced with inappropriate behavior, very professional. Go as early as possible to avoid the mean, crazy customers.

Quick people who want 2 help others.

Tried to call these folks to report two children that have been left with my daughter and their mother is incarcerated. All I get is a voice recording that they are all busy and will return your call as soon as possible. If their dog were in need of care,, I am sure they would want to talk with someone, immediately, not wait for a call back. We pay enough taxes that they should be able to have someone answering the phone. Maybe get two or three of the people on welfare that are sitting around the house drinking beer to come to work and train them to answer the phone.

Always helpful. Theres some that really care about their job and some never respond. My rating is for Elizabeth Parson shes a hard worker and she cares

Take forever and its always packed, but you gotta do what ya gotta do i guess.. The workers are friendly and nice though.

Worst around, vile people that have no clue on how to do a job, they hurt the children more than anyone, they dont care about them. If they say they do, they are liars, trust me, Ive had nothing but liars in front of me at home and in the court room

This agency kidnaps children without a cause. Unlawful seizures without exigent circumstances nor a warrant. They will lie under oath and commit perjury without hesitation.

They lose everything you given them and dont take responsibility for it and then when there is a problem they blame it on the clients. How do things get lost from the secretary to the worker? Thats only 2 hands. Of they canto the job correctly then find someone who can. I saw a policeman playing and running around in the office with 2 Latina girls who worked there like it was a play ground . Really! Then they looked at us as we were the ones with the problem. Get a grip. Who runs that place? They should be fired!!!!

Had an absolutely heartbreaking experience with Randolph DSS child protective services just today. Today proved to me exactly why there are so many poor defenseless children still living in harms way.When workers make decisions based solely on personal opinions, rather than follow any type of protocol, it’s those children that suffer. I know there are wonderful, caring people desperately trying to make a difference, the lady involved in the case today, is not one of them. Absolutely NO imterview with the one reporting abuse, only the word of the accused abuser, and case was closed after only a couple of hours. I will pray daily for the child involved, but will also pray for this workers soul. As I fear she will be responsible and WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE BY OUR LORD AND SAVIOR for neglect and the harm that results.I gave one star because no stars was not an option. God help our children.

I never get my problems resolved. I had my Medicaid approved last year and didnt even receive my card till 6 months later or so...then they closed my case instead of leaving it open for transfer and nobody is EVER returning my calls. Its very ridiculous and they are a mess. Also my foodstamps card was approved last August and I didnt even get my foodstamps card until about a month ago. Thats help taken away from me and my child. Now that I have scoliosis and back issues Im still solving an issue and having to wait while not receiving any of my medications or back treatments.

If youre just dropping off or picking up information it doesnt take too long. Other services will take up your whole day. Certain case workers will never ever call you back no matter what.

Never return calls. Still waiting on someone to call me back from a voicemail I left two months ago .

If you get there early it does not take as long. But they are getting better.

Horrible, no one ever answers their phone number nor return any phone calls so I really dont understand why they even have a phone number listed. Despite the fact that I always turn in my paperwork to re apply for food stamps in person, I never receive my benefits on the month that is suppose to be my last. Several times I have went to Dss myself to resolve the issue only to go hungry for another 2 weeks while they do god knows what. It seems as though nothing is accomplished until the issue is pushed.

Can not for life of me get anyone on the phone here for the past 2-4 months.

I have tried for weeks now to contact these people so I can feed my child and nothing. One lady even put our case on hold because she was going on vacation. Ive never in my life had to struggle like this. Very dumb and they dont listen.
