Haitian guy steals my black suitcase, then him & dispatcher tried bribing me if I pay the driver $5.00 hell personally deliver my black suitcase to me approximately estimated 10 mins ago.Now,the dispatcher denies all reneged allegations she stated on the dispatching phone, now Haitian Surf Taxi car 32 is Mia & no one knows were the fuck this mothergucker went with my clothes,The only clothes I owned!Fucken,jerks denied it & the entire staff is laughing about the entire incident! I hope that someone steals their belongings then let them see how funny it is on the receiving end!Asbury Park police officer last night saved my life & helped me to obtain my suitcase back from the crook car 32! The police officer was cool as hell, I wish there a way I could pay it forward to how grateful I am to him for when he went beyond his call of duty last night to help me!Iam truly grateful!

The minister El De Mario that took care of my Fiance Bella,Im eternally grateful, I just wish I didnt die so prematurely of liver diease from alcoholism, on gsp ext 81 off lakehurst rd. Heading to seaside heights exit.My work truck stalled on the gsp in the middle of the busy hwy.2 lanes were closed.Only 2 right lanes were open ,Asbury Park Press stated their was a sheet on the hwy.2 other articles stated I was fatally struck by a red toyota acura.App, I was a pedestrian not working for exterminator for Truly Nolan fulltime.Tired of the media/ cops unlawfully slandering my Fiance Ivans name! I just dont want him to die in vain!

Between 5 and 5:30 hard to get a cab..theyll have a cab to take you somewhere but than not one to bring you back..

Some can drivers be charging more I took a cab from Asbury Park to the outlets and he charged me $10 when it was suppose to be $9 . I told him it was $9 and still he charged me $10. No longer taking this cab . 😤

I’ve used Surf Taxi many times over the last 20 years....they are absolutely wonderful, I used them for a round trip tonight ...and let me tell you forget uber or Lyft, they’ve always been a crapshoot pandemic or no pandemic....these guys(Surf Taxk) are gonna stay my go to from now on! Honestly even the price was better than Uber and I didn’t have to worry if I was gonna get some weirdo. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in the area!

DO NOT CALL USE COMPANY AND USE UBER. I had called surf taxi at about 11pm Saturday night. My phone was dying and I was desperate for a ride. The women answering the phones was extremely rude and before I could even tell her my ending destination she hung up in my face mid sentence. I had called again to explain that my phone was dying and I needed a ride to get out of a bad neighborhood down the street and she had said no then hung up on me again. I will be sure to never try and call this company ever again while I’m in Asbury.

Great service. Nice clean cars. Our travel to Newark Airport was perfect. Better prices than Uber.

If i could i would give it negative stars. The dispatch lady was very rude. I was quoted 6 mins the driver never came but said he waited for me and I never came out. She told me he was asking her for an apt number. I never told her an apt. Besides why would he be asking her instead of her calling me to get it from me? Then she goes well u can call another cab! With an attitude in her voice. Lady in dispatch I was the one waiting outside not you. Rude.

This isn’t something I normally do but I’m disgusted in the service I received, made a app for a airport drop off, called few days later to confirm they didn’t have me on schedule, then when I got picked up morning off driver told me a price 40% higher than what was told to me when I made the pick up. I had to sit there and negotiate a price! Ridiculous!!! I tried giving a local company my business instead of uber/lyft and this is what I had to go through.

On Sunday, May 5th, 2019, I was crossing the intersection of 3rd Ave & Pine St at between 9:50 PM & 10:05 PM. As I approached the intersection, a gold van {Surf Taxi} driving on Pine Street stopped at the crosswalk, as a vehicle was passing on 3rd Avenue. At that moment, I walked into the crosswalk, since I thought it was safe, because the cab driver was stopped as the car driving on 3rd Ave. was passing by. Suddenly the cab driver moved forward almost hitting me. I turned to him as my immediate reaction was to hit the windshield of his vehicle with my umbrella & shouted out Whats wrong with you! He yells at me saying, Why are you in my way?! I yelled back, Because I have the right of way! Im in the crosswalk, I have the right of way! He lowered the window as i got closer to his driver side, he reached for something underneath near the steering column area. The cab driver had a metal or silver object, holding it as if it were a gun pointing it at me while a female passenger was in the back of his vehicle. I do not know what the object the cab driver was holding, but it looked like a nickel plated 22 caliber handgun. So I said what are you going to do with that huh? Then he acted as if he were going to get out of his vehicle, but then sped off.Afterwards, I went to the cab station to find out who the driver was & what cab car # was he in. The Surf Taxi stand door was closed, but when I looked at my clock it was 10:06 PM & Surf Taxi has a sign on their door that they close at 11 PM. So then I called Surf Taxi as I walked outside to go home. Ann, the dispatcher answered & I asked if she could give me the name of the cab driver & the # of the cab he was driving in? She said that she had know clue of what I was speaking of. I repeated myself asking for the name & # of the cab driver. She refused to give me any information. I told her what had happen & her reply was to call back in the morning & report it to management & abruptly hung up on me. I called back & it went to voicemail. Thats when I called Super Cab to bring me to the police station to file a report. Officer J. Diorio took my statement & went to investigate who the cab driver that almost hit me & pulled out a makeshift weapon out on me was.So I wrote this same letter to Mayor John Moor of Asbury Park, NJ, Cindy Dye, Michael Capabianco, David Kelso, & Michael Manzella who are all on the council of Asbury Park, NJ. The mayor sent over 2 detectives on Wed. May 8th, but neither detective brought in pictures of the drivers who happen to be driving the night of Sunday May 5th, where the Surf Taxi Cab driver tried to hit me with his vehicle, & then pull out a makeshift weapon on me.All I know is that a thorough background check NEEDS to be done to insure that no harm comes to the pedestrians in Asbury Park. And these taxi cab drivers NEED to learn the NJ Drivers Manual front to back & KNOW who has the right-of-way when entering a crosswalk.

UNSAFE DRIVERS! I dont how most of these taxi drivers were hired but their licenses should be taken away ASAP. I constantly see them going on 40 on Grand Avenue. The always loiter on Main Street in front of stores taking up the right lane of oncoming traffic. I dont know there hasnt been major accidents because of them. On top of that they cut people off, ive seen them blow red lights. They are ridiculous. Dont ever use tis cab company. Stick to UBER.

Charged $40 for a 15 minute ride. “Ten dollars each.” There was four of us. Cash only. Seemed shady and very pricey ,but we needed a ride and we did get there eventually.
