One of their drivers nearly ran me off the road today as I rode my bicycle southbound on Indiana St. between highway 72 and 80th Avenue. This is a very narrow stretch of road without any shoulder just south of the railroad bridge. This driver chose to come within 3 feet of me despite the fact there wasnt any oncoming traffic that would have prevented him from allowing a minimum of 3 feet. Every other vehicle gave plenty of room. When we met up at the stoplight at 80th and Indiana, he leaned out the window and asked me Whats youre f-ing problem? You rode down the middle of the road.I was not in the middle of the road. I was on the right side of the road, in the lane far enough to avoid the obstacles and gravel present in the section where there is zero shoulder. Colorado statute 42-4-1412 allows the cyclist deem where it is safe for them to be inside any traffic lane. You should read this statute if you are not aware of it. Being a big truck does not entitle you to a lane or any portion of a lane.I havent done any business with this company and based on this drivers behavior, I NEVER will and would not recommend them to anyone else.
