Good communication, work was done on time. Hood has a minor dent they say they will fix in 2 weeks (need time for paint to cure). There are a few chips in the rear that I don’t believe were there when I brought the car in. They couldn’t confirm (pictures) they were there before they took possession of my car but also don’t want to take responsibility for them.

They will make your car like new again!!You wont even be able to notice your car was ever wrecked!Best place!

Every single person I talked to and dealt with at this location was so friendly and professional. They were also very accommodating and were able to fit me as soon as possible into their busy schedules. They updated me on the car status every step of the way. My car looks great and if something comes up the warranty policy should cover it. Highly recommend this place!

This place kept me updated on the status of the repairs on my car. I never had to call them, they called me. The repairs that they did looks original to the car. You cant tell that the car had ever been wrecked. You cant tell that there is a repair in that area. This was all done in a timely manner. And the work is fully warranted. I highly recommend this shop.

I highly advise you to not bring your vehicle here. I was reversed into and hit and was given the option to come here by Progressive. I chose this shop because their most recent reviews were good but I should have paid attention to their older reviews as they were more accurate. They assembled the car back together in about a week. When I got my car, I immediately noticed the small particles underneath the clear coat, mostly on the BRAND NEW bumper. There were some on the hood as well as over spray. I asked them to fix it and they were nice about it and brought it back in and told me to keep the rental, however, the guy who came out for the car had a nasty attitude because my car was coming back in, or so it seemed. A couple days later, my car was completed, I went after work in the evening and still noticed some things under the clear coat on the hood and the overspray had never been taken care of. I told Darren, he was nice about it and said to give them about 20 minutes and they would try to get it out. They brought it out and it was all still there. Darren started to sound frustrated and said that if they did anything more, it would mess up the paint. I said fine and left with the car. The next day, I noticed (since it was sunny out) my whole hood had buff marks all over underneath the clear coat. I reported back to the insurance and Car Star. I called everyday over a span of 3-4 days and kept getting the run around, on the 3rd or 4th day, Sarah answered and said she would get me taken care of. I had to take more time off work and bring it in. Jennifer met me outside with a roll of blue tape and marked all of my concerns, which were not there when I originally brought my 2 month old car in. I got it back a few days later, picked it up after work and I still noticed things under the clear coat but most of my concerns were taken care of. I was willing to let those go since my hood had looked a lot better. I was able to still catch the sun out, parked my car and inspected it, I noticed that a small area of my driver door had weird matte patches and that there was some kind of tape residue under the clear coat next to my windshield. I told Jennifer about it and she basically said that they didnt touch my door. I know that it wasnt there when I brought my car in even the last time I was there. I was fed up. I had been nice this whole time allowing them to fix their mistakes but with my car continuously kept coming out with more errors, I was upset. My car is brand new. They claim that there was dents on my hood from rocks and even claimed to of fixed one. I was appreciative but found it hard to believe. Ive NEVER seen any dents on the hood from rocks. I get it, the roads suck in Denver, but obviously, Ive been really good at noticing the smallest things. Aside from that, I wrote in a long email to Wayne the manager, the two owners and Jennifer to show the pictures of my areas of concern still. I didnt receive anything back. I called Progressive and told them what was going on. I then called Carstar and asked for Wayne. He hardly took any ownership and had excuses galore. He blamed the microfiber cloth I used to wipe off dust to look for imperfections of their work. He also said my hood had multiple dents from rocks, which I never saw prior to bringing my car in, Jennifer had only mentioned one. I still see no dents, only the small particles under the clear coat that look like dents almost but if you rub your finger over, you can tell its something under the clear coat as it bumps up. I was very nice throughout the whole process and gave them chance after chance. Wayne did offer me to bring the car back so he can look at it and said I was welcomed to take it to another location. I refused his offer. They shouldnt be paid for making the exterior of my car look awful. Ive never been so upset. They charge the insurance to cover for overspray and still get overspray all over my windshield which Jennifer pointed out and on the sides of my hood. The assembly looked fine, but everything else looked bad. Heres a few pix.

This place is a joke. My vehicle looks horrible. There is now missing pieces of my vehicle and areas that should not have been touched are not working now. Or dont shut properly. I do not recommend using this place. Also informed my insurance company of this and they will no longer be using them due to so many complaints. Horrible customer service!!!!

I took my daughters car to this repair shop because my insurance co normally works with them. And nothing really was wrong with the repair or the way it was handled. The work looks good and was done within the time frame they said it would (7-8 days). I picked up the car on 9/15. Thats when the problems started. They had to swap out one of the front tires to replace the damaged rim which was part of the estimate. In June 2017 i purchased 4 new tires for the car (see attachment). When i got the car back there were 2 different tires on the front of the car?? They were clearly worn and not the same tread pattern as the new back tires. I showed the manager who brought her mechanic to look at tires and he agreed they were not the same tires as the new back ones. We also looked at the original photos from the quote that showed a new tire on the front. They were clearly different. At that point both the manager and the mechanic started to back peddle and make as many excuses as you can think of. Ive attached photos for you to decide. In the pictures you will see the new tires and used ones. I took the car to Tires Plus where i bought the tires and they said they are definitely different and there is no way the tires could have worn that quickly (2300 miles). I sent picture to my Ins company and they agreed the tires are different. They are coming out to look for them selves too look so i will update. Im not sure what happened here but this auto body company is not trust worthy.Update 10/30/17 The owner is a liar, Esurance did come out and looked at the tires the body shop gave me, and he could clearly see that they were different than the new tires in the body shops original estimate pictures. Esurance did replace my tires because they felt the body shop had pulled something, otherwise they would have told me to take a hike...

Carstar Ideal Arvada exceeded expectations. They completed the car in a reasonable amount of time, kept me informed along the way and made it very easy for me to pick up my car after hours. They even let me leave the rental car at their office and took care of getting the rental car back. That was unbelievable! In 20+ years of driving, Ive had a few other times when I needed to use an auto body shop and no experience could measure up to this one.

Would not use I was very clear that I needed a estimate for my rims before they do anything to my carNot sure why you would think a this rim doesnt need replaced its less then 6 months old and scratched

Was referred here by AllState after my car was damaged in a minor accident. The folks were pros throughout the whole process and kept me informed of everything. Car looks like new and they handled all the insurance stuff as well. Hoping i dont have to go back, but if i do, i know they will handle the situation.

Took them a couple weeks to replace my door but it looks fantastic. Customer service was quick and speedy and more in forthcoming with the repairs that they did to the side of my car and what they replaced and what they removed They painted the inside of my doors. And they faded the paint correctly. I should know my Uncle does body work for a living I went here because he was unavailable and this is a very good body shop to go to

I have taken my vehicle here on several different occasions. They do excellent work that is guaranteed. This last visit was actually to fix a job done by another repair shop. I like the fact that the staff is friendly and the waiting area is always clean. I get text messages that keep me me updated and they are always completed on time (this time, it was actually a day earlier). No one wants to have an accident but if you do, I would recommend Ideal Car Star without hesitation.(The Arvada location).

I had a a misaligned tailgate on the back of my vehicle, due to someonehitting the back of my car in a parking lot. The tailgate would occasionally pop open without warning. It was easy to see that it was crooked. Carstar fixed it in a few hours, and explained what they did. It looks great, and closes properly now. Carstar has my highest recommendation.

I had SUCH an incredible experience at Carstar Arvada. From start to finish, they made everything manageable, seamless, and positive for me.My insurance was not communicative with me during all of this, but Carstar worked with me to make sure things went smoothly. Since I was out of state when they needed to bring my car in, they picked my car up from my apartment building and brought it in themselves, which made things SO much easier and completely took the stress off things for me. They were then able to work on my car while I was quarantined at home in California. Furthermore, they communicated with me throughout the ENTIRE repair process, sending me updates almost daily. Lastly, when I picked my car up, it looked brand new! All of the repairs were done beautifully and each piece looks amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning (if need be, hopefully not) and also recommending to others! Cant thank you guys enough.

I called Carstar On a Wednesday for an estimate on damages to my Honda CRV fully expecting to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, to my surprise they scheduled me in 2 days later. They sent an estimate the same day along with an okay from the insurance to do the repair. I again expected a 2 or 3 week wait for the repair to be scheduled and again to my surprise they fit me in on Monday and had repairs complete by Friday. They did a fantastic job and returned my car to me looking brand new. I would highly recommend Carstar to anyone needing body and paint repairs. I will definitely use them again. Everyone I dealt with was extremely courteous and professional.

Ill never give this company my business - they waited until I had already dropped off my vehicle and returned home to call me and tell me there was a mistake on my original estimate (at the fault of their own) and that Id now need to pay $300+ extra for simply painting a bumper. Fees were added for Covid-19 cleaning fees which we were never informed of... not even when we were there in person to drop off the car. TOTAL scam. I immediately picked up my vehicle and asked if the car had been sanitized, to which they responded yes and it was clear the car was never cleaned. Highly unprofessional and I will never bring another vehicle to this shop again.

I had some significant damage to my vehicle. I brought my car in and they fixed it in about a month which wasn’t bad since I had rental coverage on my insurance. They did a good job. Unfortunately my insurance only approved the after market bumper so I brought it back to Carstar and they helped me take pictures and they contacted my insurance. They were able to get me approved for the factory bumper. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I learned a valuable lesson about car insurance and how they deal with their customers after a wreck. However Carstar made the whole experience just that much better.
