I had drywall delivered from Briscos this summer for a house project. I went over in the late morning to ask if they carried drywall and could deliver it. In just a few hours the drywall was at my home. Fair prices, quick delivery! I also found a compost pitchfork at Briscos. I had looked at many of the other hardware stores in the area and not found a simple, 5-tine, wood-handled fork--they had it for a good price.

Great little hometown Hardware store.This place has an amazing Woodshop that can produce any type of Molding and other trim from the shop directly to you.Really old school place.

I hadnt been here for years.Great service & the wood selection, while a bit higher in price, was very good quality. And save me time being the 5 cities.Bad quality wood makes me have to start over and Thats serious $.Beware when walking thru the store area!Youll find all kinds of project pieces & ideas interesting, that were never on your To Do List to begin with.Ill be back 😊

This is a fantastic hardware store and lumber mill! It is a small town business but does work all over the large San Luis Obispo County and beyond! Ordered plywood Miles cut it. Its perfect. Also went in to hardware, showed a you tube video. Look up Applipopp. I ended up getting washers. Saved about 50.00. Thank you Brisco Lumber..5 star

Forget the box stores ,a lumber mill old school style, a glass shop a true hardware storeWith items that are hard to find its been there since the beginning of the time a family-run business its great!!

I had walked through the store putting about $500 worth of products in my cart get to the check out when this man claiming it was his store came up to me and my husband and said we needed to leave the store he was not gonna sell us anything. We asked y and he refused to give a reason. And after we told him we just got our settlement money and had $10,000 in our account he proceeded to call the cops on us. And at that point I called my account on speakerphone proving my balence and proved balence he was stillrude and judgemental and proceeded to have some one fallow us out side as we walked to nail salon and then he sent cops to harass and embarrass us there... The cops ran our names and we proved our balence the cops laughed and left..its sad and wrong how judgemental people can be.very poor customer service

The bedroom window glass broke in my duplex. It is single pane. I called Arroyo Grande Glass. They said they had no employee in that could help me, and even if they did, I wouldnt get done today. Referred me to Briscos. I have been there many times, but didnt know they repaired window glass. I went there around 10 am and it was done by 12pm. Great service. Super nice. Very helpful. Glad I could get it back the same day. Especially since it has been raining. Glad this business is around with its old time values and services. I hope they never go out of business. Lets help support these small businesses with great values, service, and helpfulness.

Love this old school hardware store. Ive always been treated like Im the most important customer in the store. I always seem 2 find items that I cant find in the big box stores

Briscos has excellent staff, friendly and knowledgeable. There selection of hardwoods is great and priced reasonably. As well as other materials Id recommend them to anyone. Personally Id rather shop there than a big box store any day
