Definitely a 3 star job. The check-in / sales clerk was great, knowledgeable and friendly. He seems to know all the products and services they offer.Vacuum job wasnt so great. I didnt have an overly dirty car as it had been detailed 3 wks prior, but lots of remnants of debris were still on the floor. I have weather tech mats and those are easy to vacuum off.Lastly, my vehicle sat in the sun for a while before the next set of guys could get to the final wipe down... Windows were done great, but there was a lot of wipe streaks on the body probably due to sitting for too long.Definitely not amazing, definitely not terrible.

The worst car wash ever. No Stars, I give them 2 dirty towels. Started never wiped back of car. And left me hanging to work on 2 cars that came in.after me. Hello? Never go there again.

When I got there I was told to get into line, and a white haired man , greeted me, He was very kind, and directed me to inside were I paid and I sat down and watched them clean and when it was done the same man made sure it was what I had wanted. I assured him it looked well and I went on to the beach to dirty my car up, very nice and quick service, thank you ,

Good prices but it’s not a great clean. The gentleman helping me was pretty rude. Asked if I wanted to get the 80 dollar detailing and flat out rolled his eyes when I said I wanted to stick with the 42 dollar one. There are still a lot of crumbs and what not in my carpet that I don’t think are incredibly difficult to get out. I won’t go here again...

The white haired nan, who is pictured in other reviews is rude. I was quoted one price on the phone and then it went up.over$100 when I got there. I had been told about their shady dealings, but I never had an issue before noe I will NEVER go back

This man, Roy, was extremely rude when I asked him to clarify why exactly my husbands car detail went from $50 to $220, going as far as to sigh angrily at me when I told him we wanted the advertised price of $50 for the platinum. I very much disliked the lack of professionalism from this man and the used car salesman attitude. I work as a manager in commission-based sales and I make sure NONE of my staff treats customers this way and certainly ensure my product is QUALITY. There was still dirt on the emblems of my vehicle, around the hood, and license plate. Please look at the photos, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Good place to get your car washed. Ive been a customer for years. Just make sure you do one final walk around car for spots or missed areas before you accept the car. The workers can get a little sloppy and slack off so you gotta stay on top of it.

Usually its a decent outcome unless its during rush hour... the drying is mediocre

I’m used to expensive, but this place takes it to a new level. Salesman pushed, hard, for $380 detail service. Wound up paying $110 for a “mini detail”. Same quality service at most car washes would be about $50 less, even in the Bay Area! The detailer did a great job, I was mostly happy with the attention to detail, but I will not return simply because the price is outrageous.

I took my BMW in for an exterior wash after spilling a venti coffee all over it. I was very impressed with the spotless result. There are no water streaks anywhere on the car, which usually show up once you start driving after a wash. I have not seen such attention to detail anywhere else. I will try and stop here any time I drive by Pismo Beach.

Brought my new highlander for a wash so I knew it would be easy to clean up, there’s practically nothing in the car. The guys vacuuming did NOT move the the paper mats in the third row to vacuum underneath, you can tell wiping down around the car was poorly done. There’s water marks, there’s still dirt on the mirrors and glass. They just did a poor job overall for a wash that cost me about $30.The “vehicle assurance” inspector kept asking me if there was anything else that I see wrong, it’s his job to inspect and obviously he did not put the effort into it. He also asked me if I wanted air freshener for my car because it comes with it, they just didn’t add it.

You drive up to the area where you get your car vacuumed, thats where you start. Then someone tells you the options and of course they try and sell you up the most expensive cleaning, the guy was kind of a I know whats best for your car spend $300 type of person...I chose the $30.99 which is basically a wax cleaning and a wipe down of the inside of your car. Is this too high of a price for that? I understand you want to make a profit but??? I dont know, maybe $25. The cashier was very nice and so was the team of cleaners they seemed to be having fun. I usually wash my car but felt like I needed a treat for myself. If you want a total detail the price is at least $300. I dont have anything to compare this service too so I cant judge. The wait time was about 25 minutes they advertise 20 minutes but not so bad, there were a lot of cars being washed. 3 stars is good, price is very important to me so if the pricing was better for my budget they would have received 4 or 5 stars.

I never feel the need to write a review even if the service is bad, but this place is terrible. I paid $44.99 for a Shine and Protect car wash on my truck. The inside looked like they didn’t even touch it other than partially vacuuming it. I have pictures of the dirty floor mats, backs of seats, door panels etc...I don’t understand why they have a quality control guy checking cars when he obviously is not checking the work. The outside looked decent. But still, lots of spots on there that were easily wiped off when I got home. I had to completely redo the interior because it was so bad. Don’t waste your money here. If it was a $20 car wash I wouldn’t expect it to be perfect...but nearly $50 down the drain and you still leave with a dirty vehicle. I didn’t say anything to the guys before I left because I had my 3 year old son with me who was hungry, tired and ready to go. Again, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money there. I just wish I had read reviews before giving them a shot.

My family has been going to this car wash for many years and have never been disappointed. I hadnt been in some time because I have a new Jeep Rubicon and didnt know if it would fit. I called and they were very nice and were able to answer my questions. I took my Jeep down and was very pleased with the excellent customer service, the results of my car wash and the short wait time. Thank you so much! We will be back!

I really like taking my car here. They do a really decent job of washing my car. My only complaint the last time was that there was still spots on my windows and vehicle, and a couple places I thought could use a bit more scrubbing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, though, and I do recommend taking your car here.

I have gone to this car wash for years and they have now lost my business. First I was forced to endure high pressure sales and made to feel bad because I could only afford the $40 car wash. After all that 1 guy maybe spent 5 mins wiping the car down after the wash. And I didnt even get any air freshener that was supposed to come with it. What happened to this place? Its really gone down hill.

The 374 dollar specialty germ interior exterior detailing was less than I expected. I could see streaks of rushed swirls of the leather conditioner, the trunk did not appear to have been detailed as advertised on website. My floors and doormats were wet (some mats dripping) for 2 days after. Headlamps buffed out nicely. See if you can deal ala carte on their various detailing services.

Even their basic car wash is amazing. Not only are details like your wheels completely cleaned but the attention to interior cleaning details is really impressive.

Was somewhat happy with car wash and vacuum, I dont think it was worth 32.99, probably wont go back. There were a lot of smears left inside of the car, just didnt seem like it was done well.

Only hand wash in town and they know it, I have not had good experiences here over the years.

They lock keys in my truck and ask if I had a second set on me. Ill be waiting on my half price coupon.

Dont waste your money or time. Attention to detail is a joke. Seems like they try and do as little as possible. Mats not clean, spots not vacuumed, spots not wiped down, blotchy areas on seats, etc. Take that quality control vest off. People were nice but their performance and professionalism is at a low. Never spend $ there again.

I never do reviews but felt the need this time. I only came here because of gift cards given to me and will not be coming back for many reasons. The first guy that assisted me in choosing my wash is a know it all and seemed very judgmental in my decision to not spend hundreds on his services. On top of that, he labeled my Colorado ZR2 (midsize truck) as a XL vehicle. Every time I have come here the basic wash has poor attention to detail and I end up going home to finish what they could not. They didn’t even wash my roof or rear windows. I know I have high expectations for taking car of my vehicles but this business does not even come close to a mediocre job, especially considering the price. Would not recommend.

Sadly this is the only full service car wash in the area. It is overpriced for the service provided. When I pay $32 for my car to be cleaned, I expect the interior to be thorughly cleaned (dash, console, doors, etc). Sadly over the last 6 years that I have lived here, the quality of service has continued to decline. The older gruff white guy that does the intake is beyond rude.

Been going for years. The polymer treatment keeps your cars finish like new. Hand wash, no scratches and they will take every little spot off of your car. Very hard working staff.

I have a big Ford F450 truck and after having it sense it was new, Ive had a really hard time getting it washed until I found this place...Not only have they done an amazing job, the customer service and quality control is top notch.The first time I had gone there after talking to the Manger and explaining to him what a hard time I had with getting it washed, he actually washed my truck for free and gave me 100$ off a full detail... that right there guaranteed me going back with all our vehicles, and needs.

I went here expecting to pay a good amount of money to have my car cleaned. The guy selling the products was extremely rude and said that if I wanted to have someone clean my seats then I would need to pay $250 for a complete detail. I only wanted my car cleaned, armor all the seats and have my mats washed. I opted for the $59 and was willing to pay $30 to have my mats cleaned (which is completely rediculous to clean mats) and the guy said that $89 would still not pay for someone to wipe my seats clean!!! I backed out and am going to a place where I can clean it myself for $15!! Rediculous!!

Worst carwash on the central coast.. Dont bother getting the interior cleaned.THEY DO A POOR JOB AND ARE RUDE. Hand wash option is pointless. Youll get better service if you go through a gas station wash.

Im giving this a two-star because the exterior wash is ok, but DONT waste your money on any of their overpriced packages!! My husband wanted to surprise me with the $60 package, my car was sill dirty! They sprayed my tires for that wet look, BIG DEAL!!! It took me an hour to clean up everything they missed. This isnt the first time either, unfortunately we live 5 minutes away so its tempting, NEVER again

I love these guys! A great job takes a few extra minutes or walk to any one of the 15 or so places within a block to get a bite to eat.

I felt it was a bit over priced for a hand wash. But they were efficient and got the job done fast.

When they originally sold me a package of 10 basic car wash for a bundle price, the first couple of washes were pretty good. It has progressively gotten worse to the point that today I got my car back with a bunch of excuses on why they could not remove the sand in the trunk or in the backseat and on the side of the upholstery. The convertible top still had dirt stains from a few days of sitting at the airport. The car also had bird droppings over the car and they told me that the basic package does not include removing the bird droppings and it requires a hand wash. Ironically they advertise hand wash.Based on their performance, what day will he deliver is a rinse and not a car wash. They start you off doing a good job and they try to upsell you and have you spend more money to get the real service.

Worst car wash ever. I regularly get my car cleaned at places and this by far has been the most disappointing car cleaning job ever. Paid 80 dollars and my car still needs to be vacuumed and wiped down. Front desk was not very kind either. Never going back. Bummer

The guy the writes up the ticket always tries to sell me some outrageously overpriced service when I tell him all I need is a basic wash. He is rude when I decline any other service. Also, I paid for them to vacuum my car and all they did was the floor mats. Ive been going here for years, and each time I go back the service is worse and the price is higher. I will not be going back and I recommend you go elsewhere.

I took my car for a basic car wash inside/out. $19.00 is way too expensive! The inside of the car/truck was not wiped clean. Horrible job!. I can clean it better. I will not be returning!

Hard working staff. Did a much better job cleaning my car than other Sunset North businesses Ive visited. Would give it 5 stars but they are sooo expensive. I hate that they have discontinued the Early Bird Special.

As I write this, I have just returned from a wash at the Sunset North Car Wash. The quality of the wash was above average, but the staff was indifferent at best and obnoxiously pushy at worst. It took roughly 5 minutes to explain to whom I can only presume was the lead car-wash attendant that I did not want a wax, just a basic, simple car wash. I was told that a basic wash would not remove any of the dirt and grime already on the car, so it was only after I started to leave that I was told that the basic wash would actually clean the car. The wash itself was acceptable and did indeed clean the vehicle, yet the vacuuming job was marginal at best. The cashier (a minor factor I know) had a scowl on her face and gruffly barked out one word commands. All in all a disappointment; I would rather get a less thorough car wash for less at the local gas station.

Was not pleased with the look of my vehicle. I spent around $50 dollars thinking the vehicle would get a little more attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. Want my opinion, Ive received better car washes at a drive-thru gas station. This place is not worth the money they charge customers. Will not be returning

Shared my last experience with cashier. Last wash wasnt good. Cashier seemed disinterested. Today, bout an joir ago.

I went there to get a quick detail done. They returned it to me with my rear-view mirror hanging from the chords. When I asked the manager about it he said he will not fix it and that someone had likely broken it previously and glued it on, I am the original owner might I add.He then told me someone must have stolen it and glued it on. This place is a joke.I wouldnt take my sons electric Jeep to get washed. I would give a 0 out of 5 if I could. Highly do not recommend , go to the shell down the street they do a better job anyways.

Was very disappointed with the quality of service here. Got the basic package as it was my first time here. The outside of my car was cleaned very well. The inside had dust in multiple areas and multiple easy to reach services not having been cleaned. Will probbaly not be back.

No 5 stars because there is always a wait and the top of the line interior service took all day, but still left things not done. Best in the area though and the gentleman running the place would have kept my car to make the guys do the things they missed, but I couldnt stay. I was there from morning until after 2 and needed to get to an appt. Always download thier coupon or sign up for emails. They have coupons.

Wife loves the place. But if I pay 50 dollars for a car wash I expect it to be clean. Twice now, my truck hasnt been clean.

Been comming here for 6 years twice a month I always keep a $5 bill in my drivers door storage compartment which is open to see whats in it . Recently got my truck washed and noticed after I left the $5 was taken . First they raise their prices after January 1 2017 due to the increase of minimum wage then they hire theifs on top of that. . Your choice !

From the moment I drove in there, the man would not take no for an answer. Trying for 15mins to get me to purchase the 200.00 detail. I told him no repeatedly. Then I paid for the 57.00 car wash and dressing. The inside was horrible, they left stains on my seats, my windows looked like 2 years old cleaned themThe floors were still dirty. I have never had this experience there before. I was on my way out of town otherwise I wouldve made my complaint in person. Honestly I would rather go to guys across the way, than to come here again.

My experience over the last 4 yrs has not been a good one, at the check in line (Arroyo Grande) I was almost harassed to get a wax job or other incidentals I was not interested in by Roy. As recent as yesterday I make the mistake of not checking my Land Rover before leaving, got home, bugs were still on the front and dirt and mud under the fender wells. If there was another hand wash I would go there but there isnt. I have not had this problem with the one in SLO. I live in Pismo Beach but will be driving to the SLO car wash in the future.

Terrible! The manager who greated me was nice and the staff was all very nice BUT the car wash was terrible!! I pointed out so many missed spots until I just couldnt take anymore. I feel like a complainer but honesly the car looks like my 12 year old washed it only she only charges 5 dollars and this was almost 40! Very disappointed and to top it off I left without my Pina Colada (scent)...
