I had issues with my brake lights and they fixed them fairly quickly. i also have my engine light on and they checked that out as well. they even saw that i had a headlight out and i got lucky because they had a used spare light around and they replaced it for free. they were awesome and so kind! would definitely recommend.

Sorry to say my experience wasnt good. They performed an unauthorized $250 test because my check engine light was on and then handed me a list of maintenance work that needed done. I guess they didnt hear me when, before I left, I told them that a record of maintenance was in the glove box. Most of the items they suggested be done were a part of that record and dome less then a year ago. They were great at the old location in Shell Beach. I guess integrity didnt move with them to their new location.

I have a car, a VW Jetta 2014 SportWagon and we had it serviced at Bavarian Auto Haus. My wife was planning to drive across the country to Ohio in that car with our two young kids. My wife took the car to the shop while I was working to make sure everything on it was ready before the trip and get an oil change. Three days after the service (1 day before the long trip) I found, by accident, a pond of motor oil in the garage on the floor. My wife was in town with the vehicle and the car spot was empty so I was able to notice the oil leak and I could not believe it. I called her and asked her to stop driving immediately because the pond of oil was that alarmingly large. Once I got the car back home I looked under it and found that a drain bolt was finger tight. It was Saturday evening and the next day early in the morning our car was driving to Ohio already.I do not have any words for this. I told them about the long trip. There is no excuse. I just imagine how my wife would have driven the car running out of oil if I have not caught it and ended up stranded somewhere with our two young kids. I am incredibly disappointed. I am sorry to write this review for Eric but I think I have to. I believe that just some young mechanic forgot to tighten the bolt but there should be some QA standard kind of a check list before they taking cars down from a car lift.

Had a check engine light on for awhile. Couldnt get it smogged because of this. Had our BMW sitting in the driveway for months.Called Bavarian Auto Haus, they said bring it in. Dropped the car off about noon or so. Had it back at 4:45. They had the part it needed in stock and where able to fix it immediately. When we picked it back up the check engine light popped back on in the parking lot when I started it.They immediately took it back in the shop and 5 minutes later we had our car back, sans check engine light! Idled beautifully (when the light popped on 8 months ago, it started to idle rough. Still ran and it was very mild, but we could tell something was wrong). We drove it around to a couple places in town, and then my wife took it to Bakersfield. Still no check engine light! They also diagnosed an oil leak, and although we havent had them fix it (yet), we will be bringing our beloved Bimmer back to have them do the pan.You wont go wrong here. After the nightmares a coworker told me they experienced at the dealer, I was afraid to take it there. After my experience here, I wont take it anywhere else. Thanks Eric and crew!!!!!

We were visiting from afar and had found that the AC on our MBZ had not performed as well as it should during our drive to the Central Coast. I called in the morning and was able to bring it in that afternoon. Eric diagnosed the problem accurately and got our AC system recharged at a reasonable cost. He also identified another potential problem which he suggested that I keep an eye on. Friendly service and fair prices seem to be the way that they operate here.

Bavarian Auto is the absolute best for German cars in the Five Cities area. Eric and his employees are top notch. There is none better in Arroyo Grande and the rest of Five Cities when you need maintenance or repair work done to your German made automobile. Highly recommended by most anyone that has received service from them.

I have been going here for over 15 years and my only regret is I didnt find them sooner. I hesitate to say how great they are because it might interfere with my ability to get future appointments. But... here goes... Never go to the San Luis Obispo dealer unless its a recall thing and free. This place is honest, straight forward with no b.s., and if youre thinking of buying a BMW, have them check it out first. They know the issues with different things in different years. I trust them 100%.

Speedy service, professional, and priced competitively for European cars. My GFs CLA 250 needed an oil change and Service B. Barvarian did it for a third of the price of the MBZ dealer and did it quickly. Dropped it off in the morning (with little notice) and in a few hours it was ready. We will be getting all her service done here for now on. Highly recommend.

I wasted thousands of dollars and weeks of time with bavarian auto haus trying to get my car fixed. It seems they never took the time to diagnose the problem and just threw parts at the problem. horrendously unqualified, eric was great with air cooled volkswagens but i would not trust him with modern cars. I should have gone to aarons advanced auto sooner.
