A man of character and integrity works here. He fixed a hem on the spot and in the few minutes I interacted with him I felt respected as a customer. I will be back!

I needed a thick, heavy cloak to be hemmed as it was much too large, and it was finished in just one week! The new hemline is absolutely perfect and fits flawlessly in with the rest of the cloak. You cant even tell its been altered! I am very thankful to Sew For U!

Brought a dress in on 4/16 and was supposed to pick up on 4/25. I was only getting the sleeves expanded. Owner called on 4/24 to let me know that he couldn’t do it because of the material. Absolutely nothing was touched on my dress. Basically what he could have told me 9 days earlier by simply looking at the material and I wouldn’t be in a crunch to find a skilled tailor now.Overall: bad customer service experience

I gained weight but had already bought my prom dress. The owner made it work and I looked great prom night! I was so happy I didnt need to get a new dress because I was in love with the dress I had. And it was cheap! I highly recommend Sew for U.

This place did an awesome job with my cosplay outfit. I bought something from the internet and it was way too big. Now it fits snug as a bug. I’d recommend them to friends!

The couple that owns Sew for U have been at the Richardson location for about 10 years. They are both very caring, they will always listen to what the customer wants but they also suggest better ideas to their customers. They are very professional, but fun at the same time. When it was my time to get married, I brought my great grandmas dress up to Sew For U. Unfortunately somethings where not going to work with the dress, so the owners let me buy a wedding dress from them for very cheap, she altered it to fit me and my wedding was perfect. I absolutely love both of them , and anytime I have a problem in the clothing department I take it up to them, they do what they can for me, and most the time its something so little she does it for free. Sew For U has been my life saver since i found them, no more throwing out clothes that dont fit, she will make them fit, no more throwing out clothes that are to small either, she will make them into something so its not wasted. I LOVE SEW FOR YOU.. If you try them youll love them too ♡♡

Sew 4 U has had my garments for 3 weeks. They are never open; and voicemail always full. I really dont like writing negative reviews for local businesses, but this one is a head-scratcher. Luckily, my situation is not time-sensitive, but if it was... I would not be a happy camper.

Went in there with the sweater that was too large big Raider fan was the only size they had she shrunk it down to my size or cut it down to my size looks beautiful Ive taken sweats tour I take in a jersey bags to her shes fixed everything Ive asked for lady is wonderful so is her

Really bad customer service. I gave them one suit to sue and it took weeks longer to do it then they originally said. Hours of the business seem weird. Only accepts cash. Go elsewhere!
