This was my first time working with District Camera and I can confidently say that I have never had a better experience at a Camera store in the 15 years Ive been a photographer. Each member of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and PATIENT...very patient! Which was very important to me as I was trading in all my well-loved gear for a new set up. Their trade-in prices were fair and I left knowing I would be taken care of in the future! Thanks guys! Always great to find a nice family run business to support.

Always an Amazing Experience! I have shopped at this location at least 12 to 15 times by now, and I must say consistency is key with me. One camera has been sold out everywhere and they were one of the last locations to have 2 left! Being a loyal customer, they were able to hold my camera until I got there! I love this location the best, then Burke, and lastly DC if thats your only option. But its the consistency for me lol

I got to the district camera on Wilson’s blvd Arlington VA, the staff there are extremely friendly and they know what they are talking about. I love how the camera store is conveniently near my job and that they still sell film! They have a bunch of great camera gear and the store itself is very well organized and clean! I’m definitely gonna be coming to this camera store a lot more often and highly recommend this store to anyone who asks me about a good local camera store ☺️

Had an issue with a rental but Elder the owner of the store was really kind enough to follow up on it and take care of it in an efficient manner. I appreciate his business ethic and working with me to resolve it. Many staff or owners would not have done that and for that, 5/5 stars.As mentioned before, had a positive experience with Kevin at the Arlington store. He was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Large selection of rentals and cameras available. Multiple locations in the DMV area as well. Easy to book online.

They employees that work here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Its nice being able to walk into a place and ask questions. The rentals are a great way to test out a lens before purchasing.The Burke location has more sick but the Arlington location is spread out and better lightning. Cant wait until they are able to have events again...

Went in for batteries for my wifes camera, and they were extremely helpful in getting the batteries. Not only did they have it, I bought 2, because they were much cheaper than the batteries here in our home town.

Bought a 24-70mm Sigma E-mount lens from here. The staff was very helpful and explained things in detail. Would recommend for your photography and videography needs.

This place is great. I went in undecided between two cameras. I talked to three different employees about it. Each knew everything about both cameras. All the pros and cons, all technical specs... They were able to help me make a decision based on my personal needs. I am SO happy with my purchase. To make things better, they had a trade in promotion so I was able to get a bit of an added discount on my new camera. Nice and helpful staff, all the best gear. And for those who dont know, cameras tend to be price-fixed by manufacturers so District Camera sells everything at the same price you can find anywhere else. You wont find things cheaper from any verified seller anywhere. SO SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CAMERA STORE!

Rented a large lens, which was easy and painless. However, the lens filter broke, owner told me that it was lost (even though intact), therefore not covered by the insurance policy. Disputed it with CC and other owner called, apologized and provided a refund. Advised them they should revise their rental policies, that aside everything worked out with the rental.

My friend Catherine and I came in two days ago to sell old equipment and I wanted a new lens. Everyone was so helpful and we had such a great experience! And we found out that the store is near a Metro stop, so it will be much easier in the future to go there! I love my new to me Canon 24-105 L lens!

We had a fabulous experience at the shop. Never focused on money and up selling. They were focused on our needs and addressed every one of our needs. They even counseled us on what not to do based upon cost, saving us hundreds of dollars. Very much appreciated their customer service. Great store. We will be back for all our camera needs and glad they are in Arlington.

Delight to have District Camera in Arlington. District Camera is the absolute best camera and Photography store in the area. I drive an hour to receive their service. The service personnel are the best. Service is efficient, fast and friendly. Quality of their service is laudable. If you havent tried District Camera you are missing the best.....

What a helpful team of people. I needed some old photographs bulk scanned into digital format and they were reasonably priced and so quick, not to mention kind when they learned about the reason for the rush. Highly recommend if you need anything digitized.

District Camera staff has the best costumer service. I walked in on Saturday morning in need to develop film and have some prints made. I’m not a professional photographer, I don’t speak “the language” and my order was very small, however they treated me with genuine care and friendliness.

Great knowledgeable staff, awesome local rental options for equipment, now a spacious new flagship store at a super convenient location, I’ve been driving to Burke for 5 years for the best safest used purchases around... Real stores for camera equipment are a treasure—- we are so lucky to have this family owned trio of them! Check out their grand opening they’ll have something for everyone...
