I have been coming to this practice for 5 years now and am very satisfied with the excellent care I have received. Dr. Goldstein and dental hygienist Elizabeth actually make it an enjoyable experience to go to the dentist. Even during COVID they have been outstanding in delivering top notch treatments and customer service.

Dr. Goldstein was an excellent dentist! I was very nervous for a cavity filling, and he made the experience easy and painless! He explained everything he was doing in a very calming way. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Halpern created a bridge for me after it had broken. She replaced the entire 6 piece unit which included my two front teeth and 4 others. (6-7-8-9-10) She was quite meticulous and detailed so that the fit was perfect. She worked diligently with the lab to finish it with just the right color for my teeth and gums. Heba created the temporary and worked side by side with Dr. Halpern making sure everything fit properly and looked right. April worked with my insurance and assisted in making the process more bearable. Thank you Virginia Dental Center!! I would highly recommend you all to my friends and family. Very welcoming and professional staff. Elizabeth is a fantastic hygienist, and was able to answer all the questions I had. She did an excellent job explaining the process and cleaning my teeth. Dr. Hassan is very professional, easy to talk to, and honest about recommendations. Previous dental offices I’ve been to always try to upcharge for something “extra”, or recommend a service that’s not always necessary. Virginia Dental doesn’t practice this way and is transparent about cost. Definitely recommend.

Just switched dentists to Dr. Kim and I’ve had such a good experience there! I am quite picky about hygienists because my gums are very sensitive and Mercedes did not disappoint! She was super friendly and pleasant, as well as really customer focused the entire team. So charming and thoughtful! My gums also did not hurt one bit during or after the cleaning. I also enjoyed meeting Dr. Kim - he was thorough and thoughtful in his questions and explanations. Most importantly, he did not try to sell me on anything - he provided council on my options for things like fixing a crooked tooth, but didn’t pressure me to chose either way. He was also very knowledgeable and daily oriented in his analysis of my teeth and he asked me about me personally - always a nice touch for a doctor. Would really recommend Dr. Kim and Mercedes!

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Abby was great, she was patient and walked me through every step of my treatment. I used to travel back home to Serbia to get everything done there but after the experience with Dr. Abby I wont be doing that anymore. I would highly recommend this place.

Such a great experience!! Loved my trip to Va Dental Center (which I never thought I’d say I genuinely enjoyed a trip to the dentist). I had Elizabeth and Dr Goldstein for my appointment and both were so nice and just a pleasure to be around. Elizabeth especially, who was the one who cleaned my teeth, made my cleaning quick easy and painless. The office staff were all very kind and helpful, and I was seen almost right away (another thing I never thought I’d say about the dentist). Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back!

Mercedes was fantastic!!! She gave me a tour of the facility and walked me through the intake process as a new patient. She was kind, courteous, personable, genuine and funny. I was nervous about my appointment but she put me at ease and did a great job for my first cleaning and initial evaluation. Im looking for to my care with her and Dr. Kim. And, I have to include the warm clerk with her post-it system. Shes great too.

I had a really good experience here. They were quick with the check in process and took everyone’s temperatures upon arrival. My hygienist listened to all my concerns and made sure I knew everything she was doing before she did it. They have a TV in the rooms for you to watch during your appointment which is a nice touch. This dental practice in Clarendon, Arlington VA has always been the best in my 54 years of age. Best because I feel that I am appreciated as a patient (not that I should be one to thank them for me going there). Second because the professionalism of ALL the staff. Everybody does their job extremely well and is not me trying to get their attention. Third, very important, is the care. Care of my dental health, do you have any concerns, to looking and finding out that everything is doing well.

Absolute top notch, Dr Adam Goldstein was very friendly and professional and explained things well, my hygienist Elizabeth was just perfect, she was very thorough yet very gentle, and while she was doing her magic, she was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the treatment, and that is the reason I am never going to a different dental centre after today.

An incredibly professional and yet very friendly experience with this dentist office. I loved my dentist and hygienist. They have state of the art equipment for X-Ray and photography and it is not painful to get xrays. They were very careful about cleanliness and keeping people in the hallway while temperature screening, great COVID measures. All around great office!

I have been using this service for a number of years. I think the staff at all levels are excellent professional and friendly. I feel confident that my dental health is well taken care of.

This dental office was not my primary office. My husband is a patient at the office and suggested I try to get in after having an issue over a long weekend. They took me as an urgent new patient within hours of calling. The entire team is friendly and welcoming and the office has one of the best systems for COVID safety precautions.Dr. Kim will now be my dentist going forward. He took time to explain the issue and ensured I was seen same day by a specialist (another amazing doctor that I will also be writing a review for). He walked me through the entire process and answered all questions thoroughly. Kimmie was my dental assistant and she was very kind and gentle. I was in a bit of pain and when she took X-rays she was very careful not to put any pressure on the area. I also cannot say enough about Stephanie the treatment coordinator. I spoke to her when I called in the morning and she arranged the appointment for me. She talked me through everything at the office and answered all my questions, probably the same ones she answers over and over, and never rushed me. She was very patient and detailed. I was extremely nervous about the next steps with seeing the specialist and she really helped put me at ease. Her overall disposition really helped settle my nerves.I wish I would have made the switch to this practice sooner. I am happy to now have this as my new dental office with a team that makes me feel at ease and that I can trust.

Virginia Dental Center is great! I started going to this office in the before times and was impressed with their responsiveness, availability, and willingness to work with me. I have been especially careful during the pandemic and was nervous about going to the dentist in general. However, the team at Virginia Dental Center helped me feel at ease with their thorough safety measures. Dr. Halpern is wonderful and she takes an interest in her patients to help them feel welcomed and valued. I was interested in a dental tool and they were great about answering questions. Best of all, they did not pressure me when I decided the tool was out of my price range.

I would highly recommend Virginia Dental and Dr. Kim. They walked me through a few months of intense procedures, including a root canal. Dr. Kim referred me to an Endodontist to make sure that the intense procedures were done well. They always had my best interests in mind and would frequently check to make sure I was paying the correct amount with insurance. Dr. Kim is kind, gentle, and always sides on the side of caution and diligence. This team is one in a million and I would highly recommend!

Stephanie my treatment coordinator easily helped me find appointments that fit my schedule. Nikki my dental hygienist was warm and welcoming. My cleaning process was painless and comfortable, and she was sure to explain everything she was doing before she did it. Dr. Kim was excellent and patient with my questions. He helped me review all treatment options so I could choose a path that was right for me. I highly recommend this office!

Ive always been a little anxious about going to the dentist, but if Id been visiting Dr. Halpern while growing up, I dont think that would be the case. I put off a lot of work the last few years and while being seen, I never felt judged or reprimanded as I have in the past at other practices. She patiently answered my questions and kept me in the loop while I was in the chair. I was also shown before and after pictures of my teeth so I could see what was done. Treatment plan and billing were clear. Big thanks to Dr. Halpern, Lauren, Mercedes, April and everyone else at the office who helped me through a painless (literally and figuratively) visit.

Great service, convenient location and free parking. Top notch staff at all levels, especially at the leadership levels, dentists, techs and admin staff. Their accodominating with a full staff to take care of your needs. Their high tech equipment and attentive staff all aim to keep your teeth healthy.

This is my favorite Dental office in Arlington. The ladies at the front desk handling the check in process are always very professional, check in process is always on time, the team work between Dr. Abby and Tania (They are both very patient with each other while working together performing dental work) and the great customer service that April provides each time I am checking out. I was very impressed by their COVID protocols. Patients had to knock to be let into the lobby to avoid overcrowding and patients were scheduled at different times so there was only one other person in the lobby with me. I saw staff clean surfaces multiple times in my 1 hour visit. Staff had extensive PPE and there was an air filter in each room.As a new patient the staff took the time to get to know me, they answered all questions (including insurance coverage questions), and they were knowledgeable and kind. They were very customer service oriented and even offered to clean retainers/night guards for free. Would recommend!

Have been seeing Dr. Kim for a few years both for regular checkups and now my Invisalign treatment - hes very patient and provides great care. His treatment coordinator, Stephanie, is great to work with and easy to communicate with; and Kimmie, Dr. Kims dental assistant, is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about my Invisalign treatment. Overall, I highly recommend Virginia Dental Center.

For someone that is terrified of the dentist this was not a bad visit. Elizabeth the hygienist is very very nice, explains everything and is comforting. The Dentist was somewhat kind but became irritable when I asked questions. Luckily Elizabeth was still in the room and helped to fill in the blanks. They had recommended a special toothpaste, but I didnt get a chance to write down the name. Because I had questions I have to have a second consultation appointment to get them answered, I will update once I see how that goes.

Updated 2/10/2021Im updating my review because Ive been back to Virginia Dental Center several times since my first experience. While the first experience was frustrating due to the lack of clarity around cost of services. I have to say that I havent experienced that issue on any of the other occasions Ive been back.More importantly, the level of care, treatment, and follow up Ive received has been excellent. I would recommend Virginia Dental Care if youre looking for a great dental provider who can provide great service and treatment options.----------Original Post ----------The actual service I received was good but beware when the finance team discusses cost for treatment options.Their finance team gave me the exact amount for how much it would cost to get a new crown replaced. I paid that amount and then several weeks after my crown had been replaced, I received another unexpected bill for roughly 50% more then what they said it would cost.When I called to see why I received this unexpected bill the excuse was that the finance person who spoke to me must not have indicated that the numbers they provided around cost were an estimate. They absolutely did not mention anything about it being an estimate and rather than assuming responsibility for their mistake, the burden for that mistake was placed on me the customer.The actual service around the crown replacement was good but this poor level of customer service and the level of incompetence around providing accurate cost related information is definitely a stain on what would have been an otherwise great experience.

My filling broke on my front tooth on Sunday. I called first thing Monday morning and the wonderful April fit me in that day. Despite being so busy, the always excellent and friendly Dr. Halpern, made sure I didnt leave that day without getting my tooth fixed. Ive been coming to Virginia Dental Center for almost ten years and have always received excellent care, especially from Dr. Halpern.

After some very, very bad experiences, I have a big fear of getting dental work done. I have a very sensitive mouth and often in a lot of pain when past dentists made things worse. Dr. Goldstein really listened to my concerns, and we created a plan for the crown that needed to be replaced (completed by another dentist and a bad job). He explained all the process steps and check in at each one to make sure that the experience was going well. He also did an excellent job of managing the pain and making sure I was fine. The practice also has all the latest technology to make the time in the chair painless. I am happy to say a year and a half later, the crown is holding strong. After years of searching, I think I found the perfect practice and dentist!

I would highly recommend Virginia Dental Center and Dr. Abby Halpern and her team. Everyone at Virginia Dental Center is both personable and professional and they stick to the times they give you. Moreover, they have the Covid safety measures down to an art. Finally a trip to the dentist that I do not dread.

As proficient as Dr. Halpern is in the skill of dentistry, she is as equal in her patient skills. She takes the time to not only explain issues and treatments, but also the why of a treatment option. Great office! I see Dr. Henry and he is always very pleasant. Staff is also friendly and willing to answer any questions I might have. Appointments are also easy to setup. Ive had a couple emergencies and the were always able to accommodate me quickly. Even for cleanings I find that I dont have the long wait time that I have had at other dentist offices. Parking is easy to find and free so that helps a lot. The office provides me with an interpreter for appts which is always nice and they have some staff who know sign as well. Couldnt imagine going anywhere else for my dental needs.

Dr. Klossner is outstanding! She was very meticulous in making sure I had the very best outcome with a rather complicated procedure that took place in stages over 5 months. She collaborated carefully with the periodontal surgeon in my case to be sure I would have the best possible results. She explained every step of the process to me and has an excellent professional demeanor. I dont think good enough is in her vocabulary! She strives for perfection for her patients. I have family members who see other dentists in this practice and they have also had very good experiences. The facilities are great from the waiting area to the treatment rooms and the equipment. I give them my highest recommendation.

Dr. Kim is a talented cosmetic dentist as well as an excellent health care provider. When moving to a new area establishing health care is essential, I was not aware that I would get as lucky as I did when scheduling my consultation with him. He has changed my smile! Thank you! ❤️

A few weeks ago I had a root canal with Dr. Christopher Henry. Ive had two root canals before so I was very nervous and stressed. I was lucky to have Dr. Henry. He sensed that this was hard for. He was very nice, caring and understanding. He immediately put me at ease. The procedure was easy without pain. He was very gentle. Dr. Henry took great care of me. I will recommend him to everyone.

Awesome Service. I currently have braces looking to finalize my steps and get retainers. I work in the area and havent found time to get to my dentist in dc. I dropped in Virginia Dental Center where i was bubbly greeted by Irene. I must say I have never met someone so confident about their office and what they have to offer. Irene sits at the front desk. Patients were piling behind me to check in (which i was very sorry for) Irene not once rushed me to attend to existing customers. This was an awarding customer service act. Irene , Thank you for providing the face of your office with professionalism. If my service was held to a standard at the front desk I can imagine what the remaining office has to offer. I have been seeing Dr. Goldstein for several years now. I am older than your average patient and have had just about every possible dental procedure performed on my mouth. When my longstanding dentist retired I was looking for someone who I could stay with for a long time. Dr. Goldstein has more than exceeded my expectations. Understanding, direct, kind and with a skill level unmatched in my experience. I would trust him with any work that needs to be done and expect to for many years.

It was a great visit and ill keep going back. When a problem was found, they showed me the issue, explained it thoroughly, and worked with me to get it repaired. I went to Virginia Dental Center before work at 8am, it was really convenient. The wait was 2 minutes! The receptionist, dental hygienist, and dentist were all kind, helpful, and informative about my teeth. Wonderful staff! I highly recommend.

Ive passed my feedback to the practice personally, but it would be unfair not to sing their praises from the rooftops. Dr. Hassan and the VA Dental Center staff do a magnificent job making a less-than-stellar activity as pleasant as possible. I have never had such a patient, articulate, compassionate doctor as Dr. Hassan. Having recently moved away from the DC area, I drove over TWO hours just for an appointment with her. When you have a good dentist, you hate to lose them!

Dr Kern is the best! She’s so friendly and remembers you/life details even if it’s been six months since she saw you last. Today, April Moss was my hygienist- she was awesome! She was very friendly and gentle on my teeth. I’ve never had a bad experience and they are very efficient! Also- the TV available during the session is a super helpful distraction!

Id rate this place even higher if I could. Top of the line health care, patient accessibility and flexibility. And a clear a sense of compassion. Honestly, I dont think Ive ever been to a better dentist, or even healthcare provider than VA Dental Center. Theyve always been able to fit me in for emergencies, going above and beyond in their quality of care. All of the staff are friendly and kind. They are a bit pricier than what Ive paid with previous dentists, but I think for the service you get, its worth what you pay for. Definitely recommend.

Love being a patient here. Scheduling, check-in, and check-out are always a breeze. Its nice to be taken care of in an office where everyone clearly knows what they are doing. Dr. Klassner is extremely friendly and takes the time to explain her recommendations and advice. Of course, most of your time at a cleaning is spent with an hygienist and Alex makes that time comfortable and fun! I have never had a painful experience during a cleaning and have left every appointment (I go 4 times a year) feeling confident and very happy with my treatment. LOVED this practice during my time in Arlington. I was referred by another coworker when I started my job in Courthouse about two years ago, and I referred at least 4 of my coworkers as well. Dr. Henry did an amazing job. I needed a crown and filling, and he was able to fit me in the same day. He did a great job of explaining what he would be doing, and even asked for my input on the plan of care. The procedure was painless. Office is beautiful and all new! All staff members were incredibly warm and welcoming. Ashley was my hygienist and she took such time answering all of my questions. I loved the television above my head during my cleaning. It made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease during the whole process. Dr. Klassner was fabulous. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure all of my needs were taken care of.Danielle was my dental hygienist and was so personable and thorough.Dr. Goldstein wrapped up my visit and made sure all of my questions were answered. He also was very friendly!Would highly recommend.

Short wait time, convenient scheduling. Dr. Klassner is very thorough and also very kind. She takes her time listening. I feel like I’m in very good hands with the entire staff. Grateful to have such a positive and pleasant experience at the dentist!

Wow, they are amazing! Scheduling is a breeze. The new patient process is seamless. They are well staffed and I always manage to get an appointment when it is convenient for me. Not to mention that their staff and dentists are very friendly and genuinely interested in your well being. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. Great dentist office! Great staff! Great accommodation! Dentist is very communicative about what he is doing, looking for, and assessing, and recommending. Staff remembers you very well even after six months-one year. Only issue is parking and no cheaper options for braces. They only do invisalign. Been going here for two years and dont plan on leaving anytime soon.

Virginia Dental Center has been a really great dentists office, especially Dr. April Kern and her staff. Their equipment is state-of-the-art and the staff is welcoming and friendly. When I first arrived I needed to have two crowns put in and Dr. Kern was really great about walking me through the process, making sure that I was comfortable and prepared, and working with me to make sure that we used my insurance the most efficient way possible. Ive never had a better experience at a dentists office, and I really recommend going here.

Been coming here for years! I moved to Maryland and still drive here because their service is so good. They have a high turnover of doctors, but I dont mind at all. They are all so friendly and explain everything theyre doing. They NEVER rush you and I always feel like they listen to me and take time answering any concerns I have. I saw Dr. Hassan today, who I believe is new, and she was wonderful! Got a filling and didnt feel a thing. I cant remember the woman who actually cleaned my teeths name, but she was great as well! Thank you :)

My girlfriend and I were able to locate this dentists office that accepted both hers and my dental insurance. We saw the many positive reviews through both Google and Yelp, and decided to give this office a chance. Like many of the other reviewers have posted, I can confidently vouch for these reviews and say that this office has exceeded our expectations! From the moment we stepped inside and greeted the receptionist to getting our teeth checked by both the hygienist and dentist to lastly scheduling our next appointments with the scheduling manager, they all have made this experience a positive and comfortable one! I would highly recommend this office for first-time patients as well!

I am confident that I am in good hands at Va Dental Center. I have been to some other offices where I did not have confidence in the providers. Very glad I have found a dentist I can trust!

Great service. Very friendly staff. Go out of their way to see how you are doing. They keep very detailed notes and keep good track of potential issues. Clean and comfortable facility. Free bottle water and coffee too.

This place is A+. Caring, friendly staff, informative, helpful. These folks nailed it. Sheena the patience coordinator was on top of everything, explaining all costs, emailing very quickly, calling back quickly, etc. And my dental assistant Amin was such a nice guy, really listened to me and my concerns. Always a positive experience. I’ve been going to VA Dental Center for the past few years and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Goldstein Is my current dentist and I’m very happy with his Invisalign treatment. Front end staff are always helpful with being flexible to my dynamic work schedule.

I went in last week for a cleaning and was seen by Waverly, Nicole P. and Dr. G. I had a great experience, and the staff was kind and professional. Everyone was so pleasant from my check in to my check out with Kim, who is always so courteous.Something I really appreciate about Dr. Dudleys office is that everything is up to date, clean and nice. Whether its his waiting room with a coffee and water bar or his tools and equipment used on patients. I always find it nice when doctors use the latest equipment because it shows they care about us patients and want the best for us. Waverly a hygienist and Nicole a dental assistant are both very knowledgeable and it is clear they take great care in the work they do. (I should also mention I went in for a cleaning with Sabrina in the fall, who I loved. She made my cleaning fun and we got along so well I almost forgot I was at the dentist!!)And Dr. G, he is awesome!! Even though I have high anxiety when I see any dentist he was very kind, patient and his bedside manner was great as well! He put me to ease and we even shared a laugh when we discovered I had no cavities! A reason for celebration for sure!

Virginia Dental Center is the best dentist I have been to. From Dr. Kern to the hygienists and even the schedulers. They are accommodating, friendly, fun, and efficient. Ive been going to Virginia Dental Center for several years now and love them. In fact, when I moved a few years ago, I tried a new place for location convenience - that lasted one visit and then I was back to Virginia Dental.Everyone is pleasant. The doc, Dr Kern, and the hygienist, April, are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable with their advice and never feel Im being sold anything. MOST importantly, appointments start on time. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine with nearly every other doctor, but not here. Your appointment starts on time.My patient coordinator, Maryna, is also great. Quick, easy explanations.And you can schedule online. Always a plus!

Dr. Goldstein and the care team at Virginia Dental Center are the best in the business. Dr. Goldstein cares to get to know his patients and provide them the standard of care he would expect for himself. He isn’t quick to treat things unnecessarily which is quite refreshing and not what I’ve experienced from other providers in the past. You can always trust Dr. Goldstein to be honest and do the best he can for his patients. The office is immaculate, staff is superb and the entire experience at VDC is so pleasant.
