Absolutely the best experience ever! Betty was the person helping me. She did an AMAZING job with my tore up nails. She gave me a great massage on my legs and ars and shoulders. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and beautiful again! I told her how I work with dogs and get my nails torn up because they thrash around sometimes and injure my hands/nails. She didnt push anything on me, she listened to me and just recommended what made sense. I was going to pay for the more expensive service but they pointed out that if I do 2 separate services instead I would save money because of their current promotion. They also serve champagne and wine. The lady at the front desk was also very polite and took care of my drinks, I had 2. These ladies are amazing and are there for us even in the face of covid! They are clean and do have covid requirements which I appreciate. I loved it here! Definitely coming back!!!

Good pedicure! It costs 30$ what its reasonable. Terrible manicure in gel! They dont do any design that they have online. It costs 65$. Its ridiculous expensive!There is not misunderstanding. They were a simple manicure in gel. If I didnt take the full set service ( nails extensions), then you shouldnt charge me the full price like I would taken it. In others places do the nails in acrylic with design for 65$. So, honesty is all in business.

I tried this place for leg waxing and brazilian waxing then end up did the SNS pOWDER NAILS SET. The salon very clean. The ladies there were so nice and friendly, and did a great job! Plus you can’t beat their price. Would definitely recommend for waxing!

I asked for SNS and was told by Trinity that it was $45. After Mimi finished my nails, she tells me that its $60. After I brought to her attention that the price on their brochure said $45 for SNS, she said it was an error. The service was average. The last minute price change rubbed me the wrong way. It was very unprofessional.

Been coming to Mimi’s for a few years. Always does a great job. I come here become of the cleanliness and commitment to hygiene which I feel like can be hard to come by with some of the local salons.. First time I went back after the pandemic, I watched the staff clean the pedicure seats for a solid 10-15 minutes after the patrons left. Makes me feel good about going back!

The worst experience for my nails. I had to come back 3 times because my nails would fall off or break. The personnel fixed them with an attitude. Blamed me for it. And bash me and claimed that no one ever had a problem making me feel bad. Will never go back.

I rarely take the time to review if I have a positive experience, but they are SUPERB! As soon as you walk in, you are always greeted by the same chivalrous gentleman and he always opens the door for you on your way out. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks. Sometimes theres a wait, because theyre just so busy because they are awesome, so I would definitely recommend calling ahead. They are reasonably priced, especially for this area and the salon is very clean. I have never been disappointed with their services, professionalism, or cleanliness. Ive taken friends and even my boyfriend. They are awesome, and highly HIGHLY recommend them!

This place needs to be shut down!!! I went there for my birthday thinking that they can do the designs on their website, well that was false advertisement. Mimi did my nails and she thought she was doing something and I had here take the nails off because I wanted coffins and I dont even know what to call the nails she gave me so I had her redo them because it was not to my liking. I would never go back to this place they are the worst take your money and go elsewhere. NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE!!!

They have the best customer service youll ever receive at a nail salon. Youre greeted with a smile and drink when you enter. They will provide flip flops for you if you forget to bring your sandals. They will add money on your parking meter so you dont have to leave. You may have to test out a few technicians if youre picky, as not all are equally as talented, but that is the case with any salon. All in all you wont be disappointed with Mimis Spa!

Great haircuts for men

I live two blocks away from Mimis and have been going there every 3 weeks since I discovered them! Each time, Im treated like a princess. Complimentary drinks and snacks, super friendly staff, and quality service! I checked this page tonight to see when Mimis closed, and while this page lists 8pm, they actually close at 7pm.I arrived at 7:45pm, and began to walk away, but the manager cane outside, stopped me and welcomed me in. An hour later, I now have great nails for an interview and dinner date the next day. Mimi herself did my nails with a smile, and kept thanking me for coming in. I initially felt TERRIBLE for keeping them an hour past close, but they were so gracious and accommodating - and quickly made me feel at ease.While the prices may be a little more, its completely worth it in my opinion. The shop is spacious and clean, and the staff couldnt be better. You get what you pay for. Mimis is customer service at its finest.I highly recommend Mimis. You wont regret it.

So disappointed with my last experience here. I was a loyal customer for 3 years because my office is in the neighborhood. I trusted only Mimi to do my eyebrows but after my last visit I will never return. I came in for my routine eyebrow wax and Mimi waxed off half of my left eyebrow. I was left with a large bald patch right in the middle of my eyebrow. I was livid about losing half of my eyebrow but what really turned me off was how Mimi handled the situation. Instead of apologizing, she insisted that I came in that way and there was already a bald patch. Why on earth would I ever get my eyebrows done if half of it was already missing?! Mimi was completely unprofessional and denied her mistake. Had she just owned up to it she wouldn’t have lost a loyal customer. Such a shame.

This place is great. Its a cut above the basic, lowest cost option. The pedicure chairs are great. They give you water or coffee and really take care of you.

Was from out of town and called around....deciding on this salon. My nails starting chipping the day after I went and had them done. I did not feel the person doing my nails did them professionally and told me that acrylic names are out...wow. I usually go 3 weeks when I get them done in my town of Houston.

Worst manicure ever. There are streak marks from the brush and little bubbles in the paint. Theres not even full coverage of polish. She got polish on my cuticles, and Im literally peeling dry paint off the edges of my nails. I couldve done a better job myself. Ive been a frequent customer for 2 years. I cant go back after this.

Really nice people, but I got SNS nails and 2 chipped after barely a day. I went back and had them redone (no charge), but after 2 days one has already chipped. I don’t work a lot with my hands so they shouldn’t chip (I’ve had SNS nails last 5 weeks multiple times), but I can tell these won’t last. 5eyrr also slightly more expensive than other places nearby.

I had high hopes for this nail salon. I was greeting by very friendly staff but once the actual pedicure/manicure started it was all downhill. The women doing my pedicure had long nails and kept scratching me during the foot massage, she cut my toenails very aggressively and also too short that my big toe hurts. Then the worst happened, as I waited for my nails to dry, she began clipping her toenails right in front of me using the same utensils she had just used on me. I was utterly disgusted and had a horrible experience. Never going back

The service was terrible. The lady who did my nails did not do a good job and when I confronted her about it, she did not want to fix the problem. I will never go back to that establishment and would not recommend anyone to go. I also spoke with Mimi the owner and she was ok with this bad customer service.

They are very nice and so is the place I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure for a total of $70 dollars but after 15 minutes my gel manicure was peeling off and my manicure looked like like I been having it done a week ago you would see a big space between the paint and my cuticle so I was not happy with that n didnt have to go back so I would be going back!

If you have things to do in your busy day, dont go her! They are super slow and always under-staffed. To accommodate patrons from complaining the manager provides free wine and champagne just to keep everyone loopy. Not impressed!

I was long overdue for a mani/pedi and I just moved to this area so I wasnt sure who to go to. I saw this place near me on Google maps and the reviews looked good so I thought Id give it a try. I called and asked if they take walk-ins and they said theyre were ready for me so I made the 5 minute walk. I got there and I was greeted by name and even offered hot tea. They also did a phenomenal job on my nails. I wanted to add length toi my nails, but not too long and they were perfect! After my mani/pedi, I got a facial. My skin is soooo soft!!! Im definitely going back!!

I went to recieve a pedicure and eye brow waxing. Mimi performed the waxing and ruined my eyebrows. My right eyebrow now has a bald patch in it. When I confronted her about the mistake, she totally denied it stating my eyebrows already looked that way. She was completely unprofessional. If you make a mistake, just own up to it! She instead insisted on insulting my intelligence like I dont know what my face looks like. Plus symmetry to the other eyebrow, would tell you that my eyebrows dont grow that way. I kindly asked for a refund for the full amount. She insisted that she could not as she is unable to. She asked me to leave my debit card number and email address with her and she would try tomorrow. I of course refused. Why on earth would I leave pertinent information with someone who lacks integrity for their work and clearly unprofessional.Also, they kept insisting my toes were dry and as a result of being rushed out, my toes were ruinned.

The lady who cut my nails were flinging all of my nails everywhere and at me. I got a french shellac and the white is now turning yellow?? ..Its been a week.. Theres bubbles and cotton ball strands underneath the paint of my nails. I went here because I read how long the polish stays on for and bc we have the same name but did not enjoy my experience at all. And more importantly, my nails look terrible. Im only considering giving the stars bc there was an adorable puppy there and the lady who painted my toes didnt make them turn out too shabby- not great, but what can ya do.

Sunday is a busy day at nail salons but that doesn’t mean someone should rush through your service and send you on your way! The person who did my nails left the bases and edges of my nails patchy at best. Never again.

MY SHELLAC MANI LASTED 3+ WEEKS! I got a Shellac manicure on February 20th and it is March 15th and it STILL fully in tact. Of course my nails have grown and I need to get them redone, but I have NEVER had a Shellac mani last this long. I am definitely going back Mimi Day Spa! Not only is it quality nail services, they have amazing customer service as well.
