We stayed at the Courtyard because it was near the AT&t stadium. In fact it was within walking distance. Considering that it was over 100°, outside the hotel The temperature in the hotel was satisfying and wonderful. The hotel provided a nice exercise room and a swimming pool that was both inside and outside. My one regret is that I did not see a jacuzzi. The food served in the hotel was satisfying the staff was excellent, and I would recommend the hotel to others.

Arrived in our room and walked into the bathroom and the tub had standing water in it. We let the front desk know. They did not seemed concerned. To me with covid-19 still a thing I felt my room was not cleaned to the standard they proclaim to uphold. They did not offer to change rooms or anything. Instead they said some one would look at it. After about an hour and a half the maintenance guy came and drained the tub and said that this was how they cleaned the bathtub. We are still in the same room. Nothing was done. I have always stayed and trusted the Marriott brand and have been a Marriott Bonvoy member, but this has changed my mind, at least for the Courtyard label. We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn and Four points here in Arlington and they have always taken care of us. Very disappointed in the Courtyard Inn. If you have to choose go for another brand of Marriott. This one is not recommended.

Good: great location near AT&T stadium, super friendly staffBad: rooms need some work, they charge for parking, no daily cleaning. So I stayed here for for a couple of nights to attend a class at UTA. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was not super happy to learn that they charge for parking ($10/night). I mean really? It’s a Courtyard Marriott! Came back after my second day of class and my room wasn’t cleaned. I’ve never been in a hotel that doesn’t clean every day, and I wasn’t told about this in advance. I didn’t leave the room dirty so it wasn’t a big deal but would have liked some new coffee for the maker. Room was ok but shower door leaked while using it so floor towel was soaked. Lots of mold around shower trim. Bed was comfy which is a plus.Next time I’m in town I will avoid this place and get a room closer to campus.

First, this was not a Courtyard. It had to be some cheap hotel that was bought out by Marriott. There is only one elevator and when your room is at the front of the property, you have to walk all the way around. Not that big of a deal when you have just a carry on, but if you had large bags, get ready for a trip around the location.Second, the Bistro may be the way it is due to covid, but they only have stuff that can be heated up in a microwave. If you like the taste of coffee and dont just drink it for the caffeine, do no get the drip coffee.Third, the lady working at the Bistro was making personal calls while helping people. Wait till a break to do that!Fourth, the rooms are pretty nice. The layout is a bit strange but overall it was ok. I did see some ants on the night stand, but who doesnt love outdoor critters in your room.Last, and this is not the Hotels fault, but the walls are thin and some of the guest think they are the only ones in the hotel. Pack some ear plugs.

As much as We like the consistency of the Marriott brand, this location leaves a lot to be desired. The lowest end amenities of any Marriott Ive stayed in anywhere in the world, and everything seemed old and dated. Almost like they rebranded an old budget hotel and put the Marriott name on it. The staff was great and customer service was great the entire stay, but for my points and value, especially on a suite, I expect more from Marriott. The Roaches in the shower definitely didnt help. Wife screaming at 1am after a long trip is never a good way to start a trip. I know not their fault, but still not good.

The first agent I worked with upon arrival was great. He stood up and greeted me once I walked in the door, promptly programmed my keys (even with having a flurry of calls come in), and overall was very pleasant. However, the lady who works overnight and who is at the desk right now needs training on customer service. I asked her when coffee would be available, and she did not even make eye contact with me and simply sat in her chair cutting a laminated sign and stated, Theyll be making some in a few. Keep in mind, it was 6:20am and the person I spoke with the night before told me it would be available by 6am. Not a good experience at all.

DO NOT STAY HERE.I am a loyal Marriott customer who travels frequently for work as well as for fun. This property provided some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I booked a one-night stay here using POINTS, yet somehow this property has charged over $225 to my credit card. Marriott even called them requesting a refund, and the hotel charged me MORE. I’m astonished, as I’ve never experienced anything like this at a Marriott property. Based on similar reviews, I think this property deserves to lose their Marriott flag.

I stayed for one night in May with one other guest for necessary travel. We were checked in and out by an extremely rude front desk worker. We walked up to the hotel and were told You need to check in at a different hotel since we did not book online. I found this phrasing odd, however, we stepped outside and just checked in on our phone. I had a small discount to stay a night and was extremely sick so I had no choice but to try and stay there. The next morning, the same front desk worker was there when he mocked me for only having a $25 dollar off our hotel room from their rewards program. Lastly, he asked if my friend and I smoke weed as we proceeded to check out. As two people of color, this interaction was extremely frustrating, unnecessary, and prejudiced. We do not do drugs, have drugs, etc. I made a report to Marriott Customer Service about my experience, and I do not feel that it was taken seriously as I was not called back. It is a disappointing experience, my family has stayed at Marriotts for years and never had a large issue. However, I can not process going back to any Marriott hotels with how humiliating this experience was for my friend and myself.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there were some issues. The halls were a bit muggy in the summer and didnt smell as fresh as the room and lobby. Also, after booking a room for two people, they only provided us with one breakfast. I specifically got the breakfast package for a room with two people. They wouldnt make right on that because the system wouldnt allow two breakfasts for one room. Im glad I did not pay for another burrito because it would not have been worth the money. Had it not been for that, the hotel would have gotten 4 starts from me.

This hotel is near Six flags and AT&T stadium. Its a great location, so perhaps this is why they charge for parking. This fee seemed like a money grab along w/other unnecessary fees added to the room charge. The room and staff service was good overall. However, it didnt meet some of our expectations for a hotel. For the price, we expected at least a microwave, enough towels for three people, and comfortable beds. It was just ok for our needs. But, good overall. If location is what you need, this will work.

There are no microwaves in the rooms, but we were close to one near the elevator to heat up breakfast items, since breakfast was not included in our stay (we did have a refrigerator and coffee maker though). The location of this hotel was a big factor. I was able to walk to the ballpark without issue. There were also bicycle-rickshaws and golf carts shuttling people (for a fee). There were several other hotel options within the area, but I chose this one based on other reviews and pictures. I liked the aesthetic. There was a large connected indoor/outdoor pool and a gym I did not utilize. They looked nice though. I did not have any trouble with highway noise, but that may have been due to my room location. There was no complimentary breakfast, but there was a made-to-order food area. I only bought a latte, but it was really good. There was also a market/snack area by the front desk with lots of different options. I had a salad that was pretty good. The room was very clean, and that’s quite important to me. The tub was old and had some peeling, but it wasn’t too bad. The staff were all nice and helpful. Overall, just a touch pricey, but worth it.

The Courtyard Marriott was perfect for our baseball trip in Dallas, TX. The hotel was easy to get to and right off the major highways that applied to the ballpark we played. We stayed at a time when there werent any Dallas Cowboy games or Texas Ranger games so traffic was at a minimum. Upon arriving at the hotel it is not impressive when you pull up in the driveway to check-in. However, the lobby is really nice and the service was excellent! The boys loved the pool (when they were allowed to swim). The rooms were adequate and clean. We also utilized one of the meeting rooms to have breakfast for the boys and a team meeting each morning of our stay. The Courtyards location offered many different restaurants to choose from within a short drive and some within walking distance. Considering the location, its amazing that the parking was free. There were also a number of for hire vehicles to take you to the ballpark if you dont want to walk (it is walkable but perhaps not advisable in 100 degree heat). The North Arlington location also puts you in the middle of everything. I had an easy trip to Grapevine and easy access to the interstate. You really cant ask for a better location or a better value. For some reason during the daytime the hallways leading to the rooms were very very warm. walking from a hotel room on the second floor to the lobby meant that you would be sweating by the time you got there. Im used to hot weather as I live in Central Texas.

Overall, we like this hotel. Walking distance to the ballpark is a huge plus. Indoor/outdoor pool is great. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. Beds, however, were very uncomfortable. This could keep us from choosing this hotel next time we come to town for a game.

Loved our stay. Went to two games at Globe Life Park. Great dining close to the hotel. Enjoyed being tourist in Dallas.
