My experience with Potomac Kempo continues to exceed my expectations. I’ve been training at Potomac Kempo since 2018, and Jonathan has been my primary instructor the whole time. I entered into kempo thinking it would be a cool thing to learn. I didn’t consider the diverse friend network I’d gain by joining the dojo. All the great people I likely would’ve never met! It’s also really fun to continue learning new skills as an adult! Jonathan is also the primary instructor for my son. He’s great with my son, and truly strikes an appropriate balance between respect and friendship. Bottom line, I’d recommend PK National Landing to all families, big and small, looking to grow in an activity together!

We’ve only just started with Kempo but my son has taken a liking to it right away.He adores the instructor, the environment, and the classes with other kids.I can’t say enough good things about how Jonathan interacts with the kids, especially my son, teaching and providing structure, instilling respect, while also being understanding, respectful and meeting them where they are.I can’t wait to see my son’s growth in this program. He’s already asking to live in the dojo!

First time trying martial arts and I can easily say the experience here was excellent. Johnathan was incredibly welcoming and brought me in without a problem. I love the instructors, the dojo, the classes, and just about everything.

I am a bit bias, but PK National Landing is an awesome place to train in Arlington. Jonathan is an excellent instructor and it is my honor to be the first person to leave a 5-star review. A big bonus is the free parking right next to the dojo in the adjacent parking deck.
