Ive been to many shops over the last 30 years but when I brought my Echo PB580 blower in because the carburetor needed a tune up Eric examined it and got it running better than ever the same day. Great and friendly service. This is the only place Ill take my equipment now.

Earlier yesterday morning, a Pressure Washer Manufacturer gave me Expert Y & Gs phone number yesterday, so I called and spoke to the owner & his son, explaining to them the purpose of my call; I had questions regarding reputable Engine & Pump Designs I was looking into purchasing. Knowing he wasnt going to make money from the call, Eric still spent nearly 10 minutes offering me educational knowledge towards what to avoid when narrowing down my product search.Being in the automotive repair business myself, this is a Selfless Act, speaks volumes to me. I truly appreciate the time of both Eric and his son. I went to buy a new carb and the technician advised me that I may be able to replace just one piece of the carb. He was right! Started up on the first pull and saved me about 75% of what I would of payed for the whole carb. All in all friendly and knowledgeable technician made my trip to the store a good one.

Just moved here. Lawns and gardens are quite different. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Ive made good progress in me redevelopment of my lawn and soon the garden. Prices seem competitive. Soon tools are higher priced but also better quality than the large stores. Marshall is very good at this with really good advice and most importantly Im not rushed.

I run a Landscape company pretty close to Expert Lawn and Garden and this set of guys that work here are top notch guys. The owner knows what he is doing and has done this for many years, he will always shoot you straight and not beat around the bush about anything. The professionalism is beyond spectacular along with the courtesy that all the team members bring to the table. The owner has even traveled to my shop to assist me with items I was unable to deal with at the moment. His staff is very knowledgeable about everything they they have in the store and stuff they do not. If you want the best and deserve the best, then get to know the best and only deal with the best and this company is the best in the business hands down. They are the best place to get SCAG/ ECHO/EXMARK/STIHL parts in the metroplex. If it is not in stock they can get them extremely quick, but they had everything for my machine on hand!!!!!

We bought our mower from here. I was treated with respect and all of my questions were patiently answered. I am very pleased with the mower. Eric made eye contact with me, provided reliable answers to my questions and helped me choose the right machine for my needs. The pricing was very fair and he didn’t rush me to make a decision.We have had our mower serviced here also. There were recalls issued for two problems and the mechanic Adam took his time walking me through the recommended warranty repairs and helped me with the other questions and concerns I had. I learned some other tips and tricks about my specific mower from him as well. Adam printed out directions for me on special maintenance requirements for my specific mower when I use it to mulch leaves. He also made sure I was using the proper type of fuel stabilizer and following the recommended oil change intervals. He double checked that I knew how to properly check the oil (not screwing the dipstick all the way in when reading the level) as well.Every time I walk in it feels like I am treated like a friend and I am taken care of with the utmost of courtesy, patience and respect. The pricing, service work, customer service and the products are all top notch.

Brought my mower in that wouldnt start after months of running just fine, Eric let me know it was just bad gas. He got it running very quickly, and I had it back home and was mowing the grass the very same day. In fact, I was mowing the grass about an hour and a half after bringing it in. Not only that, he didnt even charge me for it! Awesome Eric, you will definitely get my future business!

I am so glad I found Expert Lawn and Garden. You guys are awesome. Brought my 17 year old Honda Mower in thinking I was going to need a major repair. Come to find out the spark plug wire had come off. The great part was getting to meet Adam Buck. He identified the problem, repaired it, and noticed a couple of other minor things that needed to be fixed. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He is a definite asset to your team. You have now worked on my Echo trimmer and the Honda. I have purchased a leaf blower there also. When it is time for sales and service on my lawn equipment, I will definitely come back to Expert. And shame on me for ever stepping into that store in Arlington with mower in the name. Your customer service is FAR superior.

Was quoted $69.95 for tune-up. That included - oil change- filter change-tune up and blade sharpening. Diagnostic fee of $37.80 Andrew quoted it would never be more than $69.95. Final bill was $125.53 without tune up and filter change. Adam did complimentary oil change. He stated carburetor was clogged and he cleaned up. My question is - why did a carburetor clean cost $87.73? I should at least be refunded the diagnostic fee of $37.80. Canvassed my local neighbors on this issue. Seems I was ripped off for being a woman. A new mower would have cost $44.00 more. I regret not using Top Cut Mowers on Colorado Lane and The Lawnmower Shop on Fielder Rd as I have done in the past. I have 43yrs customer service experience under my belt. Seems there should be some sort of service improvement policy. My motto is ‘what goes around comes around’. Businesses here today-gone tomorrow

I have searched many years for a lawn care store to purchase and maintain my tools and yard equipment. A few months ago I stumbled upon Expert Yard and Garden to purchase a new chain saw to replace all others that never worked. I was not disappointed. Within minutes I was on my way with new chain saw in hand after a small briefing of instructions. This is by far the best piece of equipment I own. I did return just recently with my chain saw as I was unable to replace the clutch cover and again received immediate friendly customer service. Within minutes my clutch cover was back on and I was on my way. I am a female who takes care of all my properties and I appreciate the professionalism, promptness and respect I received from Expert Yard and Garden. I plan on returning to this store to replace my average equipment that never seems to run or if it does run I spend half my time getting it to run properly or trying to find service. I might pay a few extra dollars, but it will pay off in the long run.

They seem very friendly in person but on the phone they are very rude, that is if they answer. Im giving them 2 stars because they did fix my mower but they literally gave it back with no screws nor bolts. The motor head, the muffler, and some other thing was making a lot of noise. Thats when I realized there were no bolts in. Only like 3 people there are nice and from my experience, only the mechanic is nice over the phone. I feel like people are just fake here.

Ive been in Expert Yard and Garden twice now to purchase equipment and both times Ive been very satisfied. The first time I was in I bought an Echo Power Pruner...Eric put it together and test ran it and while he did he told me about all of the features of the pruner and the situations that I needed to look out for when I used it. The second visit I bought an Echo hedge trimmer. Same story. Eric showed me all I needed to know to maintain the trimmer and then test ran it for me. Eric and his staff are very polite and well-informed about their products. I love being waited on by knowledgeable and personable folks who care about your business and give straight answers. Ill keep coming back.

I have lived 50 plus years in Arlington. Recently I had to get my Chain saw tuned up and running for some tree trimming. It was sick but not dead. I even pondered buying a new model and they told me my saw was still a good piece of equipment and recommended the repair that was needed and it was far less expensive than the new ones they had on hand. They fixed my saw like new and counseled me on how to preserve my gas powered lawn and garden tools. The guys at Expert are helpful, honest and truly experts.They were to the point and professional. Could not be more pleased.I recommend these guys over all others.

From the beginning Eric, the owner, was very upfront and honest with me about my mower being repaired. This is a very old school company in a great way. Rarely do you meet a business or an owner that tells you what to expect from the beginning and then live up to it to a t. Very fair pricing in my opinion and his mechanic did excellent work. My mower runs great now after struggling through the 2nd half of last season. They even showed me the parts they replaced to make sure I knew I wasnt being taken advantage of. If Your Son Or Daughter with you, think again they arent allowed in the store. posted no one under 18 allowed in 1st problem. I took my mower there to be repaired and ended up having to take it to another shop to be put back together and repaired. Mower was there 38 days before I got a call telling me it needed a new carburetor and would be ready that Saturday okay...... Called that morning to make sure was ready they did not know and would call me back got no call so went to find mower was not ready parts were not ordered, I was told the gal who orders parts was pregnant my thought is whats that got to do with me? so would be ready Monday I said fine would be back before closing to pick up my mower then he said it my not be ready by then... I said I needed Monday night he gave me my deposit back and told me to take my mower some where else. So I took it to another shop and they had it up and running with no new parts in 45 min. So EXPERT NO!! CUSTOMER FRIENDLY NO!! would not recommend even to my enemies!

Great service!! I had a mower under warranty from another retail store to repair. In the process of dropping the mower off one of the employees saw me, ask if the mower would start and not run, then proceeded to fix it on the spot at no cost. They were extremely friendly, helpful and I highly recommend them. I will be a customer for life.

Great experience. I used gas without oil for my 2-cycle Husqvarna string trimmer until it stalled and wouldnt start any more. Called Eric who told me that I could have ruined the engine. I took the option to check it up for ~$38 since the new one costs $200. After a couple of hours, the tech (Adam) called me with the good news that everything looked fine and it could start again. Their service is very professional and prompt and the price is very fair (compared to $100 charged in the big chain stores).

I bought a reconditioned hedge trimmer online and the fuel line leaked first time I tried to use it. I called expert yard&garden for warranty work and he told me they had 4 week backlog. When I told him the problem, he said to bring it by and he might be able to fix it while I waited. I did and he did, only took 10 minutes. Everyone there was super nice. There prices on new lawn equipment looked good also. I highly recommend them.

Went to Expert Yard & Garden. My lawn mower cord was broken. Ordered the part, came in the next day as predicted by Eric. Came back 2 days later to pick up the part. I have had numerous makes of 2 cycle and 4 cycle yard equipment for years. Yes eventually, even the best of them breaks down. Ive been to a lot of mower repair facilities in my time, but I now have a new shop I will take my equipment to. I know everyone can have a good and bad experience, and I too have had those, but after numerous repairs I have to give my recommendation to this place. Ive stopped by with so many questions about what do you think I need to do to fix this, explain it again to me, to here it is....just fix, and Ive yet to have had a bad experience. The hard to find parts that no other shop can get, they have always been able to get it for me. They even told me what to try so I could save money instead of just buy a new machine! That I do appreciate. The only reason for the Very Good rating instead of Excellent on Service was they are really back logged, but then again, who isnt right now!

Took my Toro mower in for maintenance - they were up front about charge for diagnosis (applied against the repair if you have them fix it) and they installed a new blade and drive belt. They tuned the RPMs on the engine and its back to pulling me around the yard. Great to work with and will be back.

I took a Craftsmen hedge trimmer because a couple of the tongs got bent, so it stopped working. Eric was able to bend the tongs back with pliers, and he didnt charge me a cent for fixing it. All the staff was friendly and courteous, and even made me laugh. I highly recommend Expert Yard and Garden!

Very impressed with the service and the business owner. I dont plan on going anywhere else in the future. They fixed my chainsaw on the spot, didnt charge me a dime and provided good comedy the entire time.

The last time I took my Echo blower in for adjustments (at a competitor location in Arlington) it cost me nearly $200. It was running @ about 65% power so I was thinking maybe the throttle cable needed replaced or adjusted - left that call to the experts but assumed it wasnt going to be cheap. Its ten years old so its due? Three weeks later (after multiple calls by me) it was done. I got a basic tune up - no throttle cable adjustment or replacement - and was told it was ready to go. Not even close.So a few years later (now at about 50% power) I decide its time to fix it right or replace it. Went to Expert Yard & Garden on Division St. , explained my issue as before and was politely told it could take a week to ten days. OK lets do it. The NEXT day I got a call back saying that the lack of trigger response was due to a severely worn carburetor and it would need to be replaced - but they had it in stock! This is a 15 yr. old Echo backpack blower. I picked it up today (two days later) and it runs like a new one. So I got the same basic tune up - plug, fuel filter, and air filter - plus a new carburetor, for less money than the other lawnmower place charged me to do virtually nothing. Plus EY&G are a dealer for Echo/ Honda/ Stihl/ Gravely/ Billy Goat/ and many others.Please give these guys a try next time. They are professional, courteous, convenient, and most of all, FAIR. They now have all of my business. Thanks.

I called to see if they sold used lawn mowers and was told Id have to come there and speak to their mechanic. I then asked if they accepted trade-ins and was told Id have to speak to the owner and he was not available. Okay, moving onto a different business thats more helpful.

I have purchased multiple pieces of equipment and had them serviced here. I jave never had an issue, and it is much better than going to an impersonal big box store.

The other day I brought in a 10+ year old echo weed eater with a stuck speed-feed head. Although they were unable to remove the head, they did replace the entire gear head with a spare they had. They also took a couple minutes to replace the cracked primer bulb and give it a tune up! A friend of mine originally referred me here and I have been extremely pleased with all of the service Ive received. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else for lawn equipment or service.

Eric at Expert Yard and Garden saved me over 100$ by taking a look at my chainsaw and figuring out what was wrong with it when nobody else I called would even look at it because of the brand (homelite)!!!Eric is certainly interested in building long term customer relationships instead of quick money!I researched the brands that Expert Lawn and Garden carries and they are all top of the line such as Husqvarna!

I am extremely satisfied, not just with this lawn mower shop but I am also impressed with the owner. I have rebuilt two lawnmowers in the past, so I was confident I could fix mine again. I called several times and asked Eric (the owner) for advice about what could be wrong.He suggested that I put new gas in, which I did and the lawnmower still wouldnt start. I replaced the carburetor after he suggested that it was either dirty or needed to be replaced. I replaced the carburetor because I didnt want there to be any more problems. The mower still wouldnt work, so I finally took it to him and he showed me what was wrong and fixed it right there! Yes, the carburetor did need to be replaced. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and is willing to do what it takes to satisfy his customers.I will be a customer for life!. Thanks Eric.

I had never been to this shop before and will NEVER return! First of all they seriously over charge for repairs and the owner is a little off his rocker. I had a blower I took them for service and they charged me up front a diagnostic fee of $37.80 which he did say would be applied to repairs. Then he told me the adverage fee to repair these blowers is over $100.00. The blower new only cost $140.00. I have had this blower serviced in the past and total only cost me around $45.00. I had a bad feeling about leaving it there but decided to do it anyway. The next day I get a call from the owner telling me that the blower can not be repaired. When I went to pick it up ,the owner (who didnt even recognize me from the day before) because he was on the phone the whole time , went to retrieve my blower and had the gaul to bring it to me in a box in about 20 pieces completely disassembled, I was shocked. Be careful, it is in the contract that they do not reassemble which I didnt catch originally, but I think this is crazy, you would think they would at least return it to you the way they got it. I will not ever recommend this place to anyone.

I recently purchased blades and a front tire to my Lesco walk behind. And this was the only shop that actually put some time and effort to order my parts. I tried five other shops and what came out of their mouths was that, this mower was discontinued. But Eric Owens was the only one who looked for the parts and put the time and effort to order the parts for my Lesco. He truly cares about his customers and also has a great sense of humor. Really made me and my wifes day by walking into his shop. You will not leave that shop in a bad mood thats for sure. Now I know where to buy my parts at.

I took my comercial 30in. To them on a Friday Morning...first red flag should have been $81 diagnostic fee...so 11 days later (7 business days) I call back to check on it and they tell me call well call you back in an hour....another words we tagged your mower then let it sit in our garage and still dont have a clue whats wrong with it ..however we know somehow itll take at least $80 to fix..? Owner nice enough kept calling me Mark for some reason...my name is Kevin...goes to get my mower , name on the tag mind you and brings out someone elses mower...ended up finding it myself buried never even touched 2 rows deep behind other unlucky people waiting for their mowers as well.....had to take it to another shop...2 days later and $58...up and running full speed again...was going to buy a 21in.Toro comercial from them if they took care of me on the 30 in. That obviously didnt happen...after I dropped off 30 bought that $1200 toro with the Kawasaki engine from the place that thought it was important enough to at least look at in a reasonable amount of time..if you mow commercially go elsewhere unless you can go weeks without the tools you need to make a living...never again...

GO anywhere but this place! These guys need to close their doors... Mr. Owens needs to stop telling people he is associated with Curtis Quality mower repair, Curtis would never run a shop this crooked. I was warned by other landscapers he is a nightmare to work with and I have now seen first hand.

I bought a MF re-conditioned Husqvana chainsaw. I did something wrong when I tried to put on the new blade. I couldnt figure out how to fix it. So I went there and asked for a help. The tech is called Eric. He was not only able to fix the problem in minutes without charging me a dime, but also explained to me what I did wrong, and what I should do.Later, also showed me how to operate the chainsaw. I was treated like a friend of him. I am so happy I chose this place for my chainsaw. I will recommend them to anyone who needs help on their power equipment.

I left my push mover to these guys,They charged me $37 for diagnosing,but they didnt say anything about the issue and repairing cost even if I asked several time how much they will charged me. When I went to pick up my mower, The guy there said okay you can go.I picked my mower up and I went the work. After two hours they called me and said I had to come there today although I told them I was working right now and I had to pay $150 more since they diagnosed the problem I had used old gas in my mower. Furthermore, they insulted me stealing my mower and threat me with my career by talking my manager because I said the repairing amount is very high since I had bought the mower just $250. Never, ever walk in front of this store.

I purchased a Husqvarna garden tractor and had problems from the onset. I thought that I had made a mistake buying this machine instead of another brand. The problems I was having were intermittent so therefore hard to diagnose. Since I use and store the garden tractor at property in central Texas, it was important to have the problems addressed efficiently and completely with one visit. I brought the tractor to Expert Lawn and Garden and they were able to solve two electrical problems with the tractor. They even purchased a special device to test an aspect of the charging system and indeed found a problem with the regulator. I have not had any problems since and have been completely satisfied with the equipment since. Husqvana should be happy to have this company working with them.

I will never come back!! I am leaving their establishment, and texting this as I drive away. I pulled up and it is starting rain, andbthe gentlemen are putting mowers away. I walk in, and greet the young pregnant girl at the door. The owner/manager bald man with glasses literally screams get out of here. I pressume he is talking to the workers because they turn around and ride back out. I pressume his concern is the fumes. The young lady procedes to ask if she can help. The bald gentleman again begins to , in a loud voice say no no no, were closed no get him out of here Two older ladies come in and say oh were closed there is a storm coming I hold up my part and say this is all I need. The pregnant girl glances at my hand and says I can tell you we dont have it. Another older lady walks in, the bald guy comes back and says get them out of here The pregnant lady says oh shes here to pick up her chain saw everyone is like oh, ok Youve lost me. Never again.
