Got my back tattoo done in 4sessions (and a short touch up session after everything was filled in) with Caleb. Loved his art style so I picked him for the job. He wasnt heavy handed and was always making sure I was doing alright and if I needed a break to just say so. Was also extremely helpful with recovery and taking my bandage off a couple days after a session. Everyone else that worked there was also nice and welcoming all the time. I will 100% be going back for any future tattoos I will want.

I’ve previously gotten my nose pierced here and finally got a tattoo! My artist was Rocky and I’m super happy how everything turned out. Everyone at the shop was super inviting and friendly, and the process was made easy & simple. He totally made the design come to life and is berry, berry good 🍓🍓🍓😁

The atmosphere in this shop is amazing; I have crazy social anxiety but felt pretty comfortable with my artist, Chucky, and all of the others in the shop. The shop interior is super cool with amazing eclectic art. Solid music, TVs to distract from the feeling of being stabbed by tiny needles repeatedly.This portrait is in honor of my best friend of ten years who crossed the rainbow bridge, and is incredibly important to me. Chucky absolutely crushed it, it is everything I was hoping for and more. Will 100% be using this shop for all of my tattoos moving forward.

Daniel did an amazing job. I wanted to honor a very special person in my life that passed away at only 19 years old. It couldn’t have came out better! He made me feel comfortable and the time flew by. Will definitely be back to have him do my next one!

*edit: tattoo is healing terribly. I have 7 and this is the first that has ever scabbed or bled. Just the color so people I’ve talked to say it looks like too much pressure was applied maybe. Experience was still good artist just needs more experience and with color I guess. I’m no expert and it should be fine, hopefully not too much scarring.Experience was great, walked in and got started quick. My artist was Jules and I will be asking for them again. Great conversation the whole time, relatively new artist with amazing work. The entire team is engaged in the experience too and they seem to get along which adds to the experience. Hate when you can tell the environment is toxic. 👍🏻👍🏻

I walked into the shop 2 days ago to get info about getting a tattoo. The people there were super kind, allowed me to look at different artists’ work, so I could choose the one I liked the best. I ended up choosing to get tatted by Jules! She was able to get me in today. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she came up with an awesome octopus design!! She was super gentle and sweet with me and kept reassuring me that I was doing really well. I got the tattoo on my ribs which supposedly hurts a lot but personally it didn’t and I think that was because of Jules’ gentle hand. Overall awesome experience and the tattoo turned out amazing!!!

I got three butterfly tattoos done by Rocky, and I LOVE them. I got it on my ribs/stomach area, which is a very painful spot, but Rocky was so nice and considerate the entire time and made sure I was good or needed any breaks. He also was willing to change the design for it as many times as I wanted because he wanted me to love it and kept saying it was for me not him, so he was very patient and considerate the entire time. Great place and people. Not sketchy at all, and it’s affordable! I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo.

Rocky was my artist and he did an AMAZING job!! Highly recommend to everyone that he do your next piece. I was clearly anxious so he put on a movie of my choosing so I’d be distracted from the needle. He is SO light handed that I didn’t feel more than an uncomfortable pinching feeling. It was great!! The studio itself was clean and the vibe was totally welcoming and relaxed. I went in for a VCH piercing today and loved every bit of it! From calling to see if they did them, being scheduled with in an hour from my call, to going in and the atmosphere was so calming and welcoming! Cody did my piercing, he has such a passion for the art itself, it was really reassuring! Sent Daniel some ideas for a cover up of an old tattoo. He put together a design that knocked it out of the park. The guy is as solid as they come. Was a complete professional. Made me feel at home and comfortable from start to finish. Had to stay late to finish my tattoo and didnt even rush any detail. The man is first class all the way around. I was looking for a new tattoo studio recently to have a very special piece done. Urban’s on North Collins was recommended to me so I went there and am so glad I did. Caleb is a very talented, creative artist! He did an amazing job. Not only is he an amazing artist, he’s a very interesting person to talk with. I have been on a up and down with artist. I have been totally mislead and have had bad experiences. I never wanted to try to go to anyone again after I found a semi okay one his scheduling and timing was so bad. one day after work when my artist wasn’t in town I went and tried out urban (south location) it was so clean everyone was so nice and I met an artist named Caleb who’s now here at this location! I had the same amazing experience coming to this location I highly recommend both location!!!! And Caleb himself work is so solid and very fair prices I get a lot of complements even by artist!!! Seriously love this place!!!! (Not a great pic but moth and flowers are my 2 new pieces so far!)

Urbans Tattoo is just an amazing establishment. The artist are professional and extremely talented. Cody walked me through every aspect of the septum piercing and made me feel comfortable and well taken cared of. My wife and I also had some amazing work done by Rocky. Oh goodness, yall! This place is the best. The people who work here are each amazingly sweet, each in their own way. They made this old grandma feel welcome from the moment I first walked in. Eric has been great to work with. I give him ideas and BOOM...he is able to craft them into beautiful works of art! We have been working on a 1/2 sleeve, and I have been nothing short of impressed with his amazing tattooing skills. Eric is calm and kind, and seems to really enjoy his work. The whole shop is clean and relaxed, and literally everyone there is friendly. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I have even taken my own (adult) children here, because I love the atmosphere and the artists are just wonderful.

I went here today for my birthday to get a tattoo and I was very pleased with my experience. I walked into the shop and everyone was so nice plus the place is obviously kept very clean. Eric helped me with the tattoo details and sketched out exactly what I wanted. He was very patient and attentive to detail while doing the actual tattoo. I came in during my lunch break . Wanted to get my nose pierced I was a little thrown off when I approached the desk. I asked the the front desk guy the cost he said $70 and some other mumbo jumbo I couldnt quite catch. So I asked him the same question two or maybe three times. When I customer dont understand the way you communicate adjustments need to be made. You shouldnt talk down to them. You need to tailor your communication to that Id the consumer. Anyway I waited for service and at that point I was uncomfortable. I googled nose piercing rates because I feeled I was bamboozled into paying higher because of the color of my skin. According to Google nose piercing can range from $30 to $90. Si when the girl who worked there asked of I was coming on to get my nostril pierced, II looked her and said yes Im coming to get my nose pierced . The same guy at the front desk provided an explanation as if I was dumb that its the same thing . I proceeded with the installation but I dont feel comfortable following up so I decided just to rate my experience on Google and move on . I tipped him 15% of the service as well.

Wow! What a great experience we had with Chad. It was my daughter’s first cartilage piercing and she was a little nervous. From the moment we entered the building, everyone was friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We met Chad for the piercing and he put my daughter at ease from the very start. He was professional and very personable. Plus, he knows his stuff!! He spent time discussing all the options for the piercing and was very meticulous about placement and how it would look. My experience here started ok but it slowly got worse and worse. I had a very specific reference that I came in with and was told by Damien (Cuda) that he would take on the work. With each session, the mistakes piled up and up. In addition to that, getting a response outside of driving to the shop was near impossible.As you can see in the attached photos, lines were misplaced, theres inconsistent line work, the stencil was put on backwards, some of the colors are muddy and not saturated, the shading on each side was inconsistent and not smooth, the tattoo is off center and the symmetry is off, the wrong colors were used in the middle of the tattoo and in the picture with each side colored in, theres a poor contrast between the black shading and the purple on the wings and different colors were used in an area thats less than a foot from the other side (red vs pink?).This all came to a head when I asked Damien a total of 8 times to see the middle cover up part. I never, ever got to see it despite him saying each time he would send it and that he even had it ready at home. I went in and talked to the owner (Junior) who was very cool and understanding. He assured me he would send the cover up to me that night. He never did. I texted him about it and got no response, similar to Damien.I am finishing my tattoo elsewhere. The lack of professionalism in responding and making blatant mistakes like different colors is where I have drawn the line. I hope this review helps someone in deciding where to get their tattoo done. If you have a less complicated design or no reference, maybe this is the place for you but it wasnt for me. Now I have to live with this tattoo on my back for the rest of my life.

My experience with Urbans was excellent. I scheduled an appointment for helix piercing, and they got me all the information I needed before arriving. Once I was there, they went over my jewelry options, described the process, and made sure I was all set. Cody was super friendly and knowledgeable. He gave input to make sure that my piercing was not only what I wanted, but looked the best for my ear shape. He ensured I stayed comfortable throughout the process, and discussed aftercare once we were done.The facility itself is very clean and professional. I will definitely be coming back to Urbans and Cody when Im ready for my next piercing.

He walked me through his techniques before, during, and after, explained why my last piercing (at a different shop) didnt come out as expected, and what he would do differently. My friend and I walked in to get tattoos and had a great experience! Rocky met us at the door and drew up what we asked for. Rocky is a fabulous tattoo artist! Hes done three tattoos for me in the last year (the AA symbol on one forearm, a lotus flower on the other forearm and an abstract ocean tattoo on my calf. Each time I have come to him with an idea and not a lot of detail, he has put what Ive wanted into a drawing and then colored it to make it beautiful. I get compliments all of the time on all 3 and they are far better art than the previous 2 I had done elsewhere. Hes also fun to talk to and hang out with while youre getting the tat. On top of all of this, Urbans is clean and professional - I wouldnt consider going anywhere else or having anyone do a tat for me except Rocky!

Made an appointment for 6pm , but got there early. My appointment was with Cody for a piercing. He greeted me, had me fill out some information on a tablet and then he took me over to pick out my jewelry. He was very knowledgeable , and once I picked out what I wanted , he told me to wait for a bit while he went and sterilized and cleaned the room.Once he came and got me , he explained everything he was going to do, had me double check the spot he had marked for the piercing to make sure it was where I had wanted.The piercing itself didn’t take long at all. It did hurt a little bit, but nothing out of the ordinary.He told me aftercare and that he wanted to recheck it after 2 months. My appointment was originally for 6, I was on my way down the street leaving and it was 605p. Whole process took maybe 30 minutes. I would recommend the shop and Cody in a heartbeat!! Pleasant experience, and everyone I encountered that worked there was very laid back and nice:))

Tattoo Artist Chucky is the BEST!!! This place is relaxing and you can never really get bored here frfr and the guy that dose piercings was the most sanitary quick like really quick 2 no more that 2 min tops over and done with. I will only go to this Tattoo Shop!!!

I had to have a medical procedure done so i went to get all five of my ear piercings removed and replaced with plastic ones I bought online. I went to the one located on cooper street, a awesome girl took them out, super nice, friendly conversation. It took about 25 mins. She only charged 10… however that did not seem like a lot for the time she spent doing it all, so I tipped of course. 20 in total. 10/10 experience. The next day she informed me she would be out of town and to visit the other location on collins street. So I did. His name was Cody I believe. I went in at my appointment time. Told him that I only needed my earrings put back in. But I wanted to change out my forward helix into new jewelry.. well that was a joke because the least expensive jewelry they offered was 95$ and It was the tinniest gold stud you could mistake it for a bread crumb. I kindly changed my mind on the bread crumb and we just moved forward with placing my jewelry back in my ear. I was back there for 8 mins. Awkward conversation. He didnt say much but we all have our off days though, so I understand that. Anyways we go up front and he says.. i’m only gonna charge you for three.. I was kinda worried at that point. Look down at my total of 50 dollars. I was super shocked. Ive paid that much for piercings however not just for putting my jewelry back in. I thought he would kinda be charging what their other lactation did. So I called the other location and asked if that was normal, the girl informed me that it seemed a ridiculous price and would call me back with answers… sadly she never did. I called four other tattoo/piercings shops just to get a estimate of what they would charge. They all said the same, anywhere from 10-25. I feel taken advantage of. I appreciate his time however I think even he knows that charging me 50 dollars for what he did was a crime.

Rocky was amazing! This was my first tattoo and I wanted it on the side of my finger, which he was very honest and open about the risk that it could fade quite quickly. I appreciated his honesty but also his willingness to still do the tattoo! He was funny and very personable! I’m very happy with how my new tattoos look and fingers crossed they don’t fade too quickly. Either way, for the re-touching and new tattoos I will definitely be going back to see him! Thank you Rocky!

I just got my second tattoo at Urban’s, both done by Eric. Great work. I get a lot of compliments on my first one. As long as Eric keeps tellin me he can do the art I’m lookin for, I’ll keep goin to him! Top notch!

This shop is awesome, I definitely will be coming here for all of my future piercings! I went in and made an appointment for a conch piercing and had Cody. He was so professional and incredible at making me feel comfortable and confident with what he was doing. The quality of the jewelry and artists here is amazing!

Don’t waste your time looking for another shop, this is the place to be. Long story short, I had an appointment booked with a different shop in Arlington, and the artist no-showed/ghosted me.I called up Urban’s, and they invited me to come on down so I could consult with an artist. Right off the bat I was welcomed into the shop. They got me hooked up with a realism artist, Chucky, and we decided to rework one of my tattoos. Chucky was super funny and easy to talk to. Make the experience that much better and on top of it, I got a beautiful tattoo. Every other artist I’ve talked to wanted to cover it up, but Chucky reworked it and breathed new life into it.Chucky made sure I was comfortable, and we took breaks at the perfect time. The shop has a free arcade, and a movie screening area to hang out in while you wait/on breaks. The staff constantly checked in and made sure I was good to go.I also met with Caleb to do a consult for my sleeve, for a neotraditional piece. He got me on the books and was super nice.My experience was so much better than 5 stars! I think I have found the perfect spot to get tattoos in the future.

This review is for Cody. My 2 daughters and I went in on a Sunday to get our ears pierced. I went to get my helix pierced and my 3 and 5 year old daughters went to get their lobe piercings. After going through a really stressful, horrendous first piercing for my 5 year old daughter, I did not want her or myself (lol) to have to go through that again. So I did my research and found RAVING reviews about Cody. And I have to say all the reviews are 100% true.Cody is probably one of the sweetest people I have met. He was just so kind to my daughters and explained everything about the process to them as if they were adults. No tears were shed, from my daughters or myself and the piercings came out GREAT. Its been a few days now and we have not had any issues with the healing process.I also want to shout out the lady who helped us pick out the earrings as she was so accommodating and had our kids pick out something to watch on Disney+ while waiting. Just everyone we came into contact there was SO nice. They even provided drinks and snacks that the kids gobbled up while watching their movie. =DMy daughters look at their ears everyday and are so happy with the way they look. THANK YOU, CODY!! YOU ROCK!!

Cody is a wonderful piercer!!! I felt safe and cared for! We talked about different piercings until we found one perfect for me which was my new daith! Cody also pierced my forward helix back in october! I suggest him for any and all piercings! He even showed me how he got my piercing to this color!

I went to Urbans with my girlfriend as walk in’s and it is safe to say they have made regulars out of us. The whole crew, not just the artists we ended up with, were very friendly and engaging. For me personally, that sentiment means a lot, especially with something like getting a tattoo from a person you have never met before. I ended up getting my piece done by Chucky and it ended up being so much cooler than I imagined it would be. He made sure to align the piece with the ‘flow’ of my arm and I could not be happier with how it turned out. Rarely do I leave reviews, but I will every now and then when I really feel that a business is doing exactly what they should be doing. Urbans is a place I would absolutely say falls under that category. I am looking forward to my new piece healing up so I can go back and get more!
