I went to get a whole new sound system, window tint and whatever else I thought would be a great add on. I was ready to spend whatever it took. After patiently waiting my turn I happened to notice that the counter help was just sitting there with their head in their hands looking bored. No one else was being waited on. So I would give them less than 1 star if I could. I will find another audio store yo help me.

They did a great job of explaining my options, what I needed to achieve the sound I wanted, and pricing. They were punctual, completed the job in the time allotted, and my new speakers sound AWESOME! I will be going back soon to have my radio replaced. Thanks for great customer service and a job well done!

How much help you get on the employee at this location. If you dont know much about audio, do some quick research on there brands & prices. You might find it cheaper or learn something about the product before purchasing. The techs seem to do good service from what I have heard

Great job of upgrading my radio in my 2006 Sonata. Now I can enjoy some of the benefits of having Bluetooth/USB Connectivity. I was treated with respect and the customer service is top notch. The new unit I purchased was pricey, but hell, my car and I are worth it. Always remember, you get what you paid for and I believe I got more than I paid for: Good customer service , 30 day return policy, credit for returned decks if you decide to upgrade. Excellence!

Car Toys location is in theHighlands S/C at Arlington.These folks apparently don’t need your business. I walked in this afternoon to check out dash cameras. There were 2 guys working the floor with virtually no customers. After looking around for 2-3 minutes I walked up to the front desk where a portly male was leaning over a computer (facing less than 3’ from me).He ignored my presence. After waiting a short while I asked him where the dash cams were. His response, “Over there in the corner.” No apology for not greeting me. No effort to show any resemblance of professionalism. So after looking at what they had for 5’ or so, I walked out the door. Not one word from either employee.If that’s the kind of “service” one gets in this store, how can you expect anything more if you make a purchase. Just plain P-I-T-I-F-U-L !!

I stopped by today to see if they could help with my car not connecting correctly with the bluetooth connection to my phone. Two of their amazing employees- Joe and Mike came out to my car and helped me troubleshoot the issue. Turned out to be user error! They found something that I hadnt figured out and had me on the road again in just a few minutes. They did an amazing job figuring this out and Im grateful for their help.

You offer free installation and a free back up camera,then when you go to get them they hit you with a $125.00 install fee and then the $299.00 radio is now $578.00 that is a far cry from $299.00 car toys will stick you with everything they can to make money.after the install my left rear speaker was not working I ask if they would check it out sure for other $45.00 to take out two screws and fine the problem.I told them no thanks Ill do it myself. brought my truck home it took five minutes to take the door panel off to find out the wires were not hooked up to the speaker everything is working fine.car toys should take better care of the customer. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In todays atmosphere where customer service isnt always a priority, I found this experience to be so refreshing. Daniel was the person I dealt with the most, he remembered me and my car after several days after I first visited their store. He made sure I got what I wanted without pressure or being upsold to a different model. He listened and remembered. I am also very happy with the product that was installed, it sounds great, it works great, couldnt be more thrilled to be driving and listening to the radio!

They were very courteous, professional and made me feel as if my twine and money were valued didn’t just throw a price at me to scare me off. They went over prices and payment options. They are definitely the place to go.

Walked around inside for around 30-45 minutes waiting for help so I could purchase a complete stereo system, backup camera, and remote start for my truck. No one even asked if I needed help. The same thing happened at this store over a year ago. I was hoping they had better service now, but they do not. Time to go spend my money elsewhere.

I recently purchased a car that came with an aftermarket radio. However it was terrible and so I decided to visit CarToys Arlington. I walked in the door and immediately Abel had asked if I needed any assistance , I showed him the issues with my current setup and he inquired if I would be willing to upgrade and no hesitation I said yes, he helped locate the perfect radio to install and he went out of his way to make sure it met my budget. I let him know I wanted to have a camera in place as well with the radio install. Nate who installed all of these squeezed me in for same day installation and worked tremendously hard to to do the perfect set up. He had a awesome work around for my usb and it ended up being a better place for me than the manufacturer placement. A huge thank you to CarToys Arlington , Abel and Nate for providing the best in class service. I look forward to future needs to be done by this location. Awesome service!!

I took my mustang to Car Toys to get a few scratches buffed out. Ken walked me around my and found spots that I didnt even know needed buffing. The work he did was amazing. He got the paint looking so smooth and shiny I could read a newspaper in the reflection. He is simply that good. If you have any detail work that you need done take your car to Car Toys. Matt & his crew are professional, friendly, and do a great job!

Friendly staff, installation was very good, just watch the bottom line...the young sales guy tried to add on an extended warranty with out telling us...he just told us the total when checking out...it sounded high and when we asked he went down the list and at the end said of course theres the extended warranty for $65...and he acted surprised when we objected to him just throwing that in with out asking... thats bad business.

My husband & I walked in noone greeted us and never asked how they could help. I consider that to be very bad customer service.

Alot of customer service issues...no communication on stuff ordered. System not setup properly, when they finished up, just gave me keys and closed doors, turn it up, it cuts off them comes back on slowly...no setup, didnt know anything about system or how to work everything.Dealt with Mike and service Manager, cant remember his name, but if you go, ask for these 2. They know what they are doing, they took my truck and set it up for my musical tastes. Bass hits hard as I wanted, just took a couple months and a few visits.Would give 2 stars for customer service, but the 2 men mentioned above saved car toys...

This place hasnt changed much since it open years ago. Every thing looks dated, kind of makes you feel like they just crammed every thing in to the small rooms. The employees who are supposed to be the experts, know little to nothing and the few that know very little only spit out the basic information thats not outside the realm of cars. I dont really recommend car toys to any one. Just do your own research and order online

The team at Car Toys did a GREAT job helping me pick out the right radio to replace my very mature system and antenna. There was no sales pitch. No gimmicks. They answered all my questions and offered suggestions that were just right for me. There were no hidden fees after the work was done. The quoted price was all I paid.Ricardo, my installer, was a jewel!! He explained the work, followed the checklist to the letter and made sure I understood what he would be doing. We had a unique situation. The Car Toys we were at had to shut down unexpectedly. We went to this one in Arlington and the staff there took great care of us. I would go back for sure I want them to know how much we appreciated the amazing customer service they gave us.

Had stopped at Best Buy for good speaker wire. They told me I had to wait outside for 45 minutes. I told them No I didnt and left. Car Toys was handy and looked easy in and easy out. Walked in, helped right away, found what I wanted and paid. First time in but wont be the last.

I am 17 and have a Chevy 2001 Tracker and I went in a bit clueless on what I was doing but knew I wanted my stereo and speakers changed from the stock. The Staff were very friendly and the job was done cleanly and my car sounds so amazing. So if y’all read this thank you to y’all for making my experience smooth and easy and nice and answering all my questions and getting the best stuff I could for a good price. Keep up the great work.

After spending $1,200 on a new stereo and getting the install, I was sent home with a faulty system. All the speakers were not working any more. No low-end sound whatsoever. The tech couldnt offer any recourse and just let me go on my way. I couldnt believe they just let me leave with a messed up sound system. I went to Expert Car Audio in Grand Prairie to get it checked out, and it turns out that Car Toys didnt install the proper interface, and didnt even do a sound/quality check before they called me to let me know my car was ready. I see they have some positive reviews, so PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Great service and prices

NEVER EVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! So I had my car amp installed and they didnt put my door panels on and left my head unit hanging. I was over charged for a half install. when I got it installed they didnt ground it properly nor did they put the wires on correctly. So I took it back they had my car for 8 hours and all they did was change the RCA cables around and thought I wouldnt notice . So when ever I hit a bump in my car audio starts sounding crazy, just in the rear speakers. I have tried to talk to the gm, however they prevent me from speaking with him. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!

They were professionals in every way. Made me feel at ease when talking to me about products and installation. Bought a pioneer DVD player and I love it!! Will come back if I need anything else.

They give good service when you are spending your money. I spent almost a thousand dollar. When I went back because of an issue they were totally unprofessional. I have a video of Chris the assistant manager acting like he was on the corner talking to someone he was ready to fight. Not like a manager. I will be sending this info to corporate something needs to be done about him. Buyers beware.

My man Nate is a true professional. I explained to him that I live 2 hours away from the store so I would need to discuss some work I wanted done over the phone before I would be able to make the drive over to the store. He answered all my questions in great detail and broke down concepts that I was not familiar with into easily understandable explanations.If you are in the DFW area, the Arlington location is very patient, transparent, and helpful. The Fort Worth location is the exact opposite. When asked the very same questions, the Fort Worth location refused to answer unless I visited the store, even after i told them how far away i lived from them. Thanks again Arlington Car Toys for a great sales experience!

I will not use them again...while they did a superb job installing, they make it sound like youre going to get a decent price on the install and then its ridiculous for the price 200 for a wiring harness 50 for cutting out the dash 11 if you want a bracket to mount the usb.....its like Just Brakes only with sound equipment. I wish now I had just done it myself.

They installed my car radio in a shorter time than I expected and work was professionally done and the radio looks like it came with the car!!!

Easy peasy visit. Already knew what I needed, already been approved with Snap Finance before, and the store had item in stock. Made my purchase, signed some papers and left within 10 minutes. The guys working greeted me nicely, asked if needed anything else and sent me in my merry way.

Spent almost $1000 and my subs worked for 3 days. I did all their recommendations. I didn’t pick out a single thing to install in my car. I asked for their expertise. Subs blew without me touching anything. I tried to make an appointment to get back in and figure it out and they basically said they had no openings for a week. I call on Sunday and they schedule me for 1pm. Then someone calls me back and says oops sorry our mistake we are booked won’t be able to see your car in a bay for another week.. so long story short. Car toys is WAY too busy for customer service

I bought one so we went to make an installation appointment and they actually had an appt that day.It took them less than 4 hours and my car was ready. They showed me exactly how to use the product. I had an issue with an aftermarket alarm remote start. A locksmith deactivated it when programming a new key. These guys got me in, researched the older alarm--of which they dont carry--and got me back on the road.

Worst experience ever. Simply went in to have my remote start key fob reprogrammed. They ended up setting off car theft deterrent system which disable my truck. Then they tried to sale me on replacing my car alarm. WTH! Since they couldn’t fix it I had to call locksmith to get my key reprogrammed. Worst customer service ever.

Had a great experience with Car Toys in Arlington. The sales process was very good. The installation was even better. Took it in this past Sunday and Zach was the installer. He was courteous at drop off and then when he ran into some issues late in the evening, he called to explain what needed to happen and stayed late to make sure the installation was completed that day.

Went in this place, because I thought it was supposed to be a great place to go but as soon as I got there I waited ask one the employee a question just straight ignored me so I waited, like four of the employees gather up I try asking one them question again straight ignored me again I wouldn’t go here again.

Service was slow the work on my Harley was done very poorly. I would not recommend that you go there. Would not stand behind there Work. They charge to much. The Service in friendly thats how you know youre about to get screwed.and the speaker was good up wrong and it blow out. It was my speakers they did the install. They want help me. They didnt offer any kind off help. Basically told me I was Out of luck.

Technician / Install Mason helped me from the time I walked in the door with an install I had mistakenly made at a different location. He was able to fit my install in ( mono amp and sub w/inclosure) that day. Mason was very helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. Install took longer than I expected however, the outcome was well worth the wait and was entirely due to Masons perfectionism. You will pay for what you get, but what you get is perfection.

They were great. They fixed my speakers and were completely honest about it. Didnt try to sell me new ones when the ones I had just needed screws tightened.

These guys were great! Not only do they do good work but they are very responsive to any questions you have about the project. I like to try and learn how to do this kind of stuff myself and they were not threatened by that at all. They took their time and walked me through the system I installed and gave me feedback on what I was doing. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Last week I transported fence pickets and bags of concrete in my car... there were wood shavings everywhere and I thought there was no way my car would look and smell like new again. I took it to Car Toys Arlington for an interior detail and the inside looks like brand new. I was completely shocked that they were able to get my car back to normal again. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling needs and availability.

I spent $400.00 on a remote start. I would not have gotten it if I knew the range was as terrible as it is. I got this for my wife who has a long distance to walk from her workplace Building to the parking, she has to be 50 for it to work. Pitiful.

Purchased a stereo from Mason. He was attentive to what I wanted and was able to direct me to the prefect stereo and went above and beyond helping me set up my android auto and even throwing in a USB cord for it. Knowledgeable staff, but priced pretty steep, as any sales and install shop normally is. I purchased a full infotainment system from them for my wifes car and they didnt disappoint. The installation is very clean, and they had all the stuff in stock that my wife wanted and all the features she could possibly want. The installation was done a couple of hours quicker than anticipated, so that was a plus.

My brother got in a wreck with my car a while ago and ever since my radio hasnt been working whatsoever, so I came here to buy a new one in hopes that it would fix that problem and I was very pleased with ny experience! The cashier was very friendly and helpful although Im not sure of his name and the installer, David, was well informed on my car and installed the radio within less than an hour to where I could finally listen to something again. However, my speedometer ended up not working after, so I called to notify them and they had me come up right away and fixed it with no problem, no extra charge.
