Blackmon Mooring did an excellent job removing mold and repairing leak. Eric, the Project Coordinator was great at quickly responding to any questions I had. The bids I received for each project were reasonable and compared to other companies in the area, they were considerably less. The guys that came out did an excellent job each time. Everything was done properly and the area was always left closed off.

Blackmon Mooring responded quickly and worked well with our insurance company to make a bad situation manageable. The clean up crew showed up in mass and were incredibly efficient in the fire clean-up process. The reconstruction was not as efficient but acceptable timing and good quality of work. Overall, I would hire them again and recommend them to a friend.

I gotta say, I used to work for these guys and man oh man they aren’t as bad as everyone says. If you admire work that is vigorous and unpredictable then this job is for you. But if you’re just looking for a job to slack and hope the supervisors don’t notice then I can assure you, this is a job you will hate. Overall, it’s a pretty nice job and you can learn a lot here than most other places especially if you’re a student in training. The only problem I’d might add is the lack of communication and some lazy higher-ups who like to abuse their power. To each his own, no place is perfect though and that’s life.

Reuben Reyes came to my home on time. I needed by dryer vent cleaned out. I am on the second floor of our condo. The dryer vent goes from the dryer, into the ceiling, and across the top of my bedroom to the outside. He did the initial inspection, used his camera to determine everything he needed to do, and then took his time making sure everything was perfect. He ran into a situation where there was a nest built by squirrels. It even looked like one of the squirrels had died, probably 15 or 20 years ago. It was nasty. He didnt complain at all. I asked him about my vents from the air conditioning/heating unit and he gave me some great answers. He was fantastic. If I ever need to use Blackmon Mooring again, I hope I can request Reuben to come back. I am thrilled with everything about the experience.

We had a house fire and during this crazy time, Blackmon Mooring has been really helpful. I am pleased with the service and quick response I receive on questions. If we have an issue or concern, they are wuick to resolve it. I wouldnt know what to do if I add to keep track of everything they have to do! I am grateful for their service!

I have tried several carpet cleaning companies over the years and I always came back to Blackmon Mooring. I have used them for many years now and find them to be thorough, reliable and effective. I have my carpets cleaned at least every 6 months and they always do a super job. If there is a spot that remains or comes back after cleaning they always come back out and fix it. Their techs are cleaner cut than the other services, always on time, always in uniform and always respectful of my house and me. I am very happy with their service.

I have been in the middle of an insurance claim..date of loss was 4/29/19 for water damage to my home...selected Blackmon Mooring as the contractor to replace the carpet in my home thru State Farm recommended vendors. To date I am still awaiting carpet samples to be brought to my home almost 3 mos after the damage. Every time I contact the project manager for my job excuses are made about how busy they are. Was promised I would have samples by today but so far have not seen them & now I am getting no response to my emails. Very frustrating & unprofessional as far as I am concerned.

One of the worse places to work for and to ask business from! TRUST ME1. Miscommunication amongst employees and management/being specific about the work and when to work2. Lack of leadership and people taking responsibility3. Misrepresentation4. Being honest with your employees about the pay and the work they will be doing5. Disorganized/ the trucks dont work half the time and half the equipment is messed up or broken6. Proper training- they just throw you out in the field without training from managment7. Prepping- half the time they dont care or check if you have the proper equipment or tools8. Turnover rate is high9. Undermining through authorityGOOD LUCK TO WHO EVER WORKS FOR THEM OR ASK WORK FROM THEMTHEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU JUST THE MONEY AND THEY ARE WILLING TO UPSELL YOU WITH KINDNESS AND MAKE YOU LOOK STUPID

One worker explained things very well; he explained the limitations of cleaning in an older home. They did the best they could and got a lot of dust and dirt out. They even did a last-minute carpet cleaning for us in one room. One of the workers was uncommunicative.

My experience with Blackmon Mooring has been unpleasant. A water heater leak damaged my home on March 18. My insurance company, USAA, immediately sent Blackmon Mooring out to assist in mitigating additional damage.Blackmon Mooring arrived and immediately set up equipment to dry sheetrock and advised that I should also have wood flooring removed. The flooring was damaged and the Blackmon representative was concerned that additional problems could develop if the flooring were left in place until our flooring company removed it. I agreed to allow Blackmon to remove the flooring and they began work. The work crew was extremely careless. They damaged one piece of furniture and a closet door. The damaged furniture was removed, repaired and returned. The closet door was removed, but after two months, has not been returned. I waited approximately 3 weeks after the door was removed and initiated contact with Blackmon. I was advised that the door could not be repaired but that a replacement had been purchased but had not been stained. I was assured that they would get the door stained and returned to me. I again contacted Blackmon on May 26 but did not receive a return phone call. I called again on June 1 and finally received a return phone call from a representative late in the day. The Blackmon representative stated that my closet door would be returned and installed between noon and 2 pm on Friday, June 2. When the technician arrived, he immediately realized that the stain on the replacement door did not match the other doors and woodwork in the home.At this point, I have been told that a new door will be delivered on Monday, June 5, but I really have zero confidence that this will happen. My only recourse at this point will be through the courts and I will initiate those proceedings on June 6, if necessary.Let the buyer (or customer in this case) beware!

Mold had developed in our air supply duct work. It was in bad shape. We were very concerned about how this could be removed and whether the supply and return registers would ever look normal again. The Blackmon Mooring crew exceeded our wildest expectations both with the quality of the cleaning, but also the friendly, professional execution of the job. They went through every step of the process before they started, answered all our questions, and completely cleaned up after the job was over. Extremely well done! Thank you.

Amazing service but I liked it better when they fixed damaged houses and cleaned carpets

I recently had a fire in my apartment. My ins company had someone from Blackmon contact me about getting my items cleaned. Most of my items came back looking great. My new dining room table that I bought and put together myself came back with damage as well as my new dresser. One of the men I spoken to sent me pictures that didnt even show the damage but when I sent him pictures I didnt get a response. BBB will be getting a message with these photos because I refuse and will not be called a lier for damage this damn company done to my items. Im not asking for any money I just want my table n dresser repaired since the company workers done the damage.

They got spots out previous cleaners told me were permanent. They did a great job! I will use them again

Classic Bait and Switch!So I saw a special on their website saying they would clean 10 vents for 199$. Im excited so I call them to come out. When they get here the guy inspects the whole house and tells me its going to be 1200$. I tell him I just want to do the 199$ special, and he says he doesnt want to do just 10 vents because it will just get dirty again. Then why bother coming out or advertising a BS special you wont do???? Very misleading. If its going to be 1200 tell me upfront instead of posting specials you literally will not do and asking for 6 times the price. I did not do it and I have not went back to them since.

Dont even think of using this company. They are super expensive and all they care is to rip you off. They tie up with insurance companies, pay the adjustors huge referral commission and do everything to get all the money from your claim. Jeff Key one of the sales guy I dealt with is just a crook and a painful person to work with. he makes false promises and does not keep his word. He is extremely poor in his communication and never returns emails or phone calls for any after sales support. He is ONLY after your money. His management is also like him and you guys will regret using them.

Everybody i came in contact with or spoke to on the phone was very nice, courteous and professional. I called when my hot water heater caused water damage and they were on the scene the very same day.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. This company is TRASH!!!!!! Completely took advantage of us at 5am after we experienced a fire at our home. LIED to us about being the contractor sent by our insurance and now I have a bill for $1100. I’m am beyond pissed and wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

We experienced a house flood on new years day. BM was called by our insurance company and arrived by noon that day even though it was a Sunday AND a holiday. The men (Drew and Cameron) were very thoughtful and professional. They installed most of 54 fans and several dehumidifiers in our home which ran for several days, while we stayed in a hotel down the street. However, on the third day, we were contacted by a supervisor who told me theyd be taking out the carpet after all, so two days of drying were wasted and more days of work time on more important pieces of this puzzle were lost. So while the work did get done, we lost a couple days due to a miscommunication. Its ok-they did a great job.

Blackmon Mooring repaired some minor roof damage from the Mar 29 severe Fort Worthstorms. Did a good job repair and were responsive to my phone questions throughout the process.

The guys did a good job removing the stains in my carpet. I was planning on replacing the carpet but figured I would try and clean it first. Now I can wait a little longer to replace it.

They came out to clean my sofa. They got the general stains out very well but very disappointed that they couldnt get the red wine out. I eventually did with just club soda.
