Susie is the best. So kind and friendly, and always does a great job with me. Im trying a new hairstyle, and shes been great helping me learn how to care for it and style it. Would highly recommend her, but the other barbers seem friendly and professional as well.Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Make an appointment though, I feel like walk-ins are probably hard here.

Been searching someone consistent to go to for a quality haircut. After trying a number of different people in the DC area, I found Josh. He gives a fantastic cut and listens well. Josh is really talented and cares about his craft. I think he is one of the best in the area. Really happy to have found someone I can trust and return to time and again!

I got a decent enough shave, I guess. It looks fine. Its literally nothing like what I discussed with the barber, though. I went in with a long beard and said I wanted it shaped up. I provided a picture of a longer beard style I liked. He trimmed it back to a short, tight beard. If you want a normal, short shave this place will be fine but if youve put months into your beard, absolutely do not trust them with it. I should have known what was up when no one on staff has a beard.

I had an appointment with Sammy. He was very professional. My hair was all over the place after 3 months of quarantine! He saw a picture in my phone and he did the exact same thing. Highly recommended. Thank you, Sammy!

Frank the master barber is awesome. He takes his time and its worth every dollar that you spend here. I understand its a bit pricey but they do best haircut and beard in the DMV area. Hard to get an appointment since Frank is booked but definitely worth the wait and money. I am sure they take walk ins but if you want Frank you can easily book an appointment online in advance.

Im a recent transplant to the area and have struggled to find a hair stylist that can give me a good cut. Frank at Hendricks was great. He was meticulous in his skills, listened carefully to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. The place has a nice laid back vibe and everyone was very friendly. Booked online and was super easy. Walked right in and sat down. Thanks for a great experience. Highly recommend and will return.

Ive been going to Hendricks barbershop for a few months and I love it! Frank, my barber, moved to this barbershop within the last year.Frank has been my barber for over 2 years and I cannot imagine anyone else cutting my hair. Franks attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched.The receptionists are very friendly and helpful with processing payments and setting future appointments. The other barbers are personable and skillful.

So Im not going to lie is definitely pricey but youre paying for what you want. I love the staff there and I cant find a better place to go. Just go there with a idea and they will help you met that goal.

Stopped coming here after putting up with the bad attitude of the one and only girl who works here. My initial visit was good and that time she was welcoming, but subsequent visits have been disappointing experiences. The haircuts were fine but the attitude was not. Now according to her shes overworked as they are given strange days/hours, but its no excuse to:1) Be late by almost 10 minutes sitting in the lounge chilling while the customer is there on time, meter running outside, and ready to go.2) Roll. Their. Eyes. Whenever the customer in the chair asks for something to be done.2) Not say HELLO and acknowledge someone particularly a returning customer. Should be the easiest thing to do. Even for a millennial.

I went there for a haircut, because the barber of my choice moved away. So I tried Hendricks Barbershop and booked the first available appointment the next morning. Interior design is nice and the staff is very kind.My barber Gus asked me how it would like to get my hair cut and we had a pleasant conversation later on. But it seems to me, that he was not really confident cutting my hair. I missed the passion. He wasnt abel to trim a gentle transition on the sides properly. For 40,-$ I would have expected more expertise. So, for me the haircut was not worse the money. I think I will look for another barbershop in the future.

Maybe Im asking too much of an old-school style barbershop, but I like the social aspect of getting my hair done by a friendly stylist that I can have a conversation with. After three cuts with these guys, that doesnt seem to be an option. I got really good haircuts, even from the lower-level barbers, but it seemed pretty awkward in there. Not my thing.

I would give this zero stars. After multiple attempts to schedule a cut, they continued to cancel and reschedule just to cancel again. You are better off going down the street to a walk in barber where at least youll get a cut that day... dont waste your time with this place.

Went here because of Eric who used to cut my hair at a different shop about a year ago. This isn’t your normal walk in get a $15 haircut type place. You get quality cuts and good service. Everyone is super friendly. Scheduling is super easy and makes it nice not having to wait for ever for a haircut.

Finally found one of the best barbers in town after searching for a while now. The prices are reasonable for the area, but great in terms of the quality of cut. I definitely recommend it, Jon was able to fix the mess that Hair Cuttery left behind, and was able to recommend styling that worked for me specifically.5/5

Sammie is a legit artist. I have extremely thick frizzy hair with cowlicks and he was able to create the proper shape and dimensions. Extremely talented!

I spent 5 years in the Marines and I can say in that time I never had a worse haircut than I did at Hendricks. The guy who cut my hair literally could not have tried to mess it up worse and it was a simple low fade. To top it off he cut 2 hard parts into my hair, I would highly suggest not trying them out.

Hendricks is the best barber in the WMA, and possibly the East Coast. After years of looking for a barber who I can trust, I found Eric, the best barber Ive ever had. Erics haircut has changed my life. Yes, that sounds extreme, but its real. I feel better, walk taller and receive compliments daily. I am very cautious of getting my haircut from barbers Ive never visited (Ive gotten so many bad haircuts its not even funny), but the Master Barber, Frank Ortiz hooked me up on my first visit!I honestly felt at ease the second I met him and he didnt feel the need to keep up small talk (which I hate).You can tell he loves his job, its truly an art form for him. Hes very focused and precise with his cuts too (best hard part Ive ever gotten).Hendricks is a bit pricey, but its worth it if you want a quality haircut. I highly recommend Frank to anybody and any type of hair style.Side note: its a REAL barbershop, which means they use a straight razor for a very close fade.Also, make sure to schedule an appointment

These are a bunch of professional lads and I think they are usually busy because of good customer service and skills...I have had beard trimming from Eric and Jon and they both are very skilled and thoughtful!Highly recommend!!

I walked in asking for a haircut. The women spent five minutes on the phone then asked how she could help me. I said I wanted a haircut and she said they were booked for the afternoon. I looked around and saw one person cutting hair and one person in the seat. So I asked if I could wait until after the one person was done. . She said no. So I left. End of story. The arrogance was annoying and lack of customer service also annoying. Ill stick with my Asian place that provides way better service.

In Arlington to visit family, made an appointment and got an excellent beard shaping from Josh, a new member of the staff. Will definitely return when Im in town.

They are closed. Ive been a loyal customer since they opened years ago, and they didnt bother to notify me ahead of time. Worst, they were selling off equipment, with movers, while I was there with my kid. It also appears they only gave the barbers a week notice and $50 gift card. Dont send your patronage to these owners.
