Where do I start? Well I will start with the customer service (very dependable!) answered all my phone calls and gave me the updates I needed it for my car to be repaired, the prices are so affordable when it should be higher (because of the pandemic) but like one of the workers said “we try to help our people out) talked to both Rob & his son and I have to say most experience and thoughtful individuals when it comes to customer care. If I were you I would only stick to this mechanic shop because they keep a promise on their estimate days your vehicle will be in the shop and do not hit you with fees or surprise charges when you go to pay👍🏾

Black Owned Shop #2. I love the fact they are nice,get you in and out. Very professional and competent. You can even book appointments online and see pricing for certain work. I arrived 15 minutes early,i asked a few questions, he took my car,the bell ringed and my car was in less than 20 minutes and I had 3 people ahead of me. Thats 5 star service. I just met my new mechanic!

The very best auto shop Ive ever used... in 30+ years. Very very friendly. Quick. Thorough. And... best of all, reasonable. They dont seem to charge a book rate but time and parts.I would highly recommend them.

The service at this shop is amazing. I arrived for my appointment a little before the time and was helped right away, my car was taken for the inspection and it was complete within 5 minutes. I used a Groupon and I still received A1 service. He was friendly and at the end, informed me that they are pretty much a one stop shop and will do just about anything for my car so I see myself returning in the future.

If you’re thinking of taking your vehicle to them, just do it already! This was hands down the best experience with a car repair shop I have ever had. They were fast to diagnose my car and even faster to have it fixed. The son( sorry I don’t know his name) was very nice and accommodating. The waiting area is huge and prices are reasonable as well. I will DEFINITELY be back and I will refer anyone who needs a mechanic. Thank you Rob and Son!!!

Rob replaced a water pump that had gone bad for me a few months back. Very professional guy, did solid work and at a very reasonable price. About 3 months later and all is still well. Brought the car in and he had it ready only a couple hours later. Will definitely be swinging by again for any other maintenance in the future.

I took my 07 Ford Five Hundred there and they didnt change all six of my spark plugs like I paid for. I found this out when I went MP Auto Repair, much more professional. They showed me my old spark plugs without me even asking. Just go to MP Auto Repair.

Great customer service! Went for a vehicle inspection, waiting room have a very comfortable sofa, snacks and bottles of water with a play area for kids. Definitely coming back.

I own a small business & held back to leave a bad review but a week after my oil change I noticed a leak. They stripped the bolt on the oil pan & also hit something when backing up my truck leaving the paint chipped. They didn’t drain the diesel fluid before changing the filter leaving diesel that spilled over the engine bay. (7/15/2021) I won’t come back & wouldn’t recommend anyone to service their truck here.

When its time to get any type of work done on my vehicle its usually a dreaded and overwhelming experience until yesterday. I am pleased to say anxiety was the farthest emotion I felt. I felt very comfortable and at peace talking with Rob and asking questions I would usually feel nervous about asking. I didn’t feel taken advantage of when he did an assessment of my vehicle or quoted the prices and timeline of events. When I find a place Im comfortable I dont move no more shopping around this will be my go to spot.

Went in to see what was with my car making a popping noise. I was told it could be my tire rod (a guess not 100% sure) so I had it replace a week later the noise returned. I will not be going back here I dont need no one guessing on my car

Went for a car inspection. Was sent to a large waiting room with a couch, surround sound TV with free snacks like chips, water, coffee, with kids toys available. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Great customer service and price.

I don’t normally post reviews, but Rob & Son Garage is awesome! I came here to get a state inspection, and was taken care of very quickly. The garage and lounge was super big and clean, which is what you don’t get at most mechanic shops. Locally owned and awesome prices what more could you ask for?

So, my car ran hot at the corner of Division & Mesquite in Arlington two weeks ago. My daughter then says that she has to use the restroom. I had no idea where to go or what to do. God then said, Look right! There was a brown building. I had no idea what this place was but I went anyway. We turned the corner and I saw this car shop. I explained to the young man what happened but first asked if he had a restroom my daughter could use. He said yes and offered to get my car out of the middle of the street. As he pushed my car into the garage, he told me what problem was. I asked him if he could fix it. He said yes. To my delight, he did! I have been back ever since to then get my battery, motor mount, overflow container done and next will be the brakes and rotors. He is super friendly, nice, QUICK and patient with Autistic children like mine. Thanks Robert.😊

While visiting family in Texas I encountered a strange noise coming from one of the back tires of my vehicle, I took it back to the dealer for repair. The quote they provide me was just too high in my opinion to pay, a friend of mine recommended Rob & Son Garage in Arlington. Although I told him what the dealer told me was the issue, he did his own diagnosis of the car and confirmed the issue and had my car back to me in a timely fashion. Hes made a life long customer out of me. Would recommended him to everyone I know in Texas.

I’ve been here three times for oil changes. Got an inspection this past time as well. Robert is extremely courteous and professional. I believe he’s been in business here in Arlington for less than two years. It’s a modest and clean shop, no gaudy franchise flair or bloated prices to support all that overhead.I asked Robert last time I was in how he was holding up and he admitted that quarantine closures had been challenging, but he remained positive in his outlook and didn’t complain about it at all.If you’d like to support a black-owned local business, I highly recommend stopping by next time you need automotive service. I highly recommend Rob and Son Garage to everyone. The owner is very professional, nice and has great customer service. Rob works with your schedule, he’s patient and gets the job done! I had went in to get my brakes done. I needed a new roader and brake-pads done. The wait wasn’t long at all! Took him 35 minutes or less to do both of my front brakes, and I went about my day. Not only was the service great, but my brakes had a warranty on them! I got the best of both worlds! Great service and a warranty! I enjoyed my experience. The price was reasonable and not over priced like some other places. Definitely going back!

When you talk about professional work and paying careful attention to detail Rob & Sons Garage is the epitome of great service. I came in for a tune up and it was finished when he said it would be. He. Noticed an issue with my oil tank that would have cost me an arm & leg at the dealership. He handled it for next to nothing. Rob always gets my car needs together when needed...

I had two malfunctioning sensors in my Toyota Camry, problems that Rob actually diagnosed when I went up to his shop (he had done some previous work on the car after it was involved in an accident). He told me about the issue and said he would be available to work later that evening. I went to his place after work and he finished within 40 minutes. His estimate of the cost was accurate and he fixed the car in a pretty short period of time. He was honest about the price and it was a pretty good deal from what I could find. The time he spent on it was shorter than what I had thought, so he is very efficient. The problem stopped and the check engine light went off after he worked on it.Hes an honest and fair businessman who will give you the complete truth, and not try to get you to spend more money on extra things than what is necessary for the specific problem to be resolved, though he will offer suggestions if you ask him. Hell answer pretty much any question about your vehicle you have, hes a genuinely good dude. I recommend him highly.
