A solid apartment complex, probably one of the better value ones in the area. Lots of trees around, quiet. Updated apartment. Rents are getting a bit high but its probably just the nature of the area. Management is reasonable and friendly.

I love this place. The units are very spacious and the complex itself is very well-kept. Maintenance is always very helpful and timely when you need them the most. The complex is in a great position, being within 5-7 minutes to a Safeway and a Target. I highly recommend for young adults or small families who work in the DMV area as it is also pretty close (within 10-12 minute walk) to two metro stops on the Blue/Silver/Orange line.The only issue that I have is the lack of a centralized mail-reception system. Packages, whether it be from Amazon, FedEx, or from family/friends, can easily go missing (which has happened to my roommate and I on several occasions). They have a package room with lockers but the lockers are almost never used on smaller packages and are most of the time scattered across the floor in the room with no proper organization. Sometimes packages are left down at different buildings and on rare occasions, left at your doorstep. They have lost several of my packages at this point and they have done few things to help, but in the end I have still not received some packages and the responsibility has rested on me to try to get refunds or to tell family/friends that certain packages never made it to me.Looking past this, I highly recommend Rosslyn Heights!

I would say Rosslyn Heights is a decent apartment, the location is convenient- Target & Safeway, Gong Cha, Pho75, Tai Select nearby... and not far from the metro station! But it is not worth as its price. If you have the budget to rent here, you can find a better apartment.The internal equipment is very old and outdated, the elevators and corridors are dirty and smelly. Packages are often stolen because they let the parcels be placed on the ground at will, turning the mail room into a large gift exchange site.While sending email to leasing office to ask questions, they wont reply your question but pick up the one they want to reply. And the swimming pool and gym are very rudimentary.Anyhow, the rent here is too expensive, you can have a better choice.

Pleasant, well-managed apartment complex with larger units. Maintenance is quick/responsive and the leasing office is friendly. Buildings are a little older, but weve had almost no issues. Package delivery can be a little complex, but the complex is definitely working on improving it.

I love living here! The staff are so nice and maintenance is extremely fast and attentive. Especially love that there are units with fireplaces (we love ours).

The complex is very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and seem to know everyone by name. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and repair any issues with the apartment.

I love the openness of the property, I think its a great reflection of the type of community fostered by those living here and management helping to reinforce it through various community events!

Came in here looking for a place to rent. The guy that works here tried to get me to sign something without looking at the actual unit and show me photos of one like it. I finally got him to show me the unit and it looked nothing like it. Was old and and out of date. Kitchen was nothing like in the photos, not modernized. Then he tried to tell me the prices could change at any time as they are calculated by an algorithm so tomorrow the price may not be what it is today.. again urging me to sign something today. Disgusting company.

It may seem like a great place at first glance but dont be fooled. Management is beyond incompetent and is quick to defer blame for every problem that arises. There are a few helpful people there who are good at their jobs, but not many.Facilities are old, the hallways leak, the main gates are left open constantly with packages sitting out in the open (they try to get you to pay an extra fee for package delivery even though no one else in the area does), and I had BLACK MOLD in my apartment 3 TIMES. Who knows if its cleaned up by now, I moved out after finding the mold the third time.The pools are old and dirty, the gym is a joke, the parking garage has probably never been cleaned since this place opened, the garage doors get stuck open constantly leaving everything unsecured, and flooding is a regular issue in the garage as well. Every time I notified them, nothing was done.And after I moved out they took a month of rent out of my bank account claiming it was my fault for not removing my auto pay setup, how that isnt terminated when the lease ends is beyond me.Long story short, this place is cheap for a reason.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! This place has no sense of security, not only did we had two track bikes stolen on the bike rack locked we also had tools stolen from locked garage. Understand thieves are everywhere, but after the first stolen bike, the leasing office did nothing to re-enforce the security and did not compensate for the loss or the damage occurred. Please, if you value your safety of your home, please do not move here. There are better apartments near by with added security and responsible leasing agent.

Customer service at this property is very bad. We have had a package theft problem and there has been no effort by management to fix the issue besides suggesting people “pick up their packages in a timely manner”. There has also been no follow up and packages continue to be stolen.The amenities and apartment itself are very nice however there are other complexes in the area that have better customer service for similar accommodations

We were very happy and impressed with this property. The grounds were secure, clean/ well kept, and offered great amenities.The location is excellent... close to many choices for dining, bars, shopping and outdoor activities. We were pleased with the newly renovated unit, the space and layout of the unit was perfect. So thankful for the friendly and helpful staff members& management .... excellent customer service all around!

Great location to be in! Love the set-ups of the rooms and the pools are a great way to cool off during the summer. My only qualm with this place is maintenance. While they are very friendly and usually pretty prompt to address issues, somewhere along the line theres a miscommunication with management and/or the leasing office.Last month, we had to get our apartment sprayed for house centipedes. My roommate and I coordinated with a friend nearby to deposit the cat for the day. When we came back, they had just put in sticky pads as a solution. After uprooting the cat for the day, all we wanted to hear was a simple apology for the miscommunication.This past week, our water was shut off as part of a street-wide issue and our apartment was impacted for two days of no running water. Again, the leasing office seemed out of the loop as to why the water wasnt working. Since then, weve had to routinely call to have the bathroom sink fixed.Overall, the place is a nice area to live in, but better communication with residents would be appreciated.

Have been living here for over 6 months and have numerous packages go missing.I’m sure we are paying extra for the “Parcel Pending” services, but half the time the packages do not make it into a locker and are thrown onto the ground of the package room. Then you are left to dig around the piles on the floor hoping your package is there. Unfortunately, (more often than not in my case) it isn’t there at all.Extremely frustrated. We picked this apartment because it seemed more “secure” but Ive ended up not feeling comfortable having any sort of mail or package sent here because I have no idea if it’ll actually get to me.Stay away if you like shopping online.

We lived here for a few months and really enjoyed our time. It was within walking distance to groceries and really good food. You have easy access to the Mt. Vernon trail for bikers/joggers/walkers. The office staff was easy to work with and very kind.

I absolutely love living here. The location is wonderful, walking distance to a metro, many restaurants and stores. Easy access to the DCA airport and DC. Our apartment was very clean and has lots of storage for a one bedroom. Love everyone in the leasing office, especially Arlen. They are all very helpful and make it a point to remember your name and where you live. We do not have a pet but this facility is very pet friendly and welcoming to pets! Lots of grass and space for you to walk your dog. I recommend living here to anyone!

Been living here for a few years, over all is great. The maintenance guys are awesome! Fast response and the property is trying to update and maintain the community in the timely fashion. More and more communication throughout the staff, and they are trying the best to make it like home for everyone.

One of the best apartments I have ever lived at!!Moved out of state a few months ago and one of the things I miss the most is my Rosslyn Heights apartment and the staff that works there!! The Maintenance Men, Michael, Kevin and Sloan are top notch and very knowledgeable in maintenance. The office staff were there to make us comfortable in our apartment and always willing to help long after the initial move. Perfect area to live also. Metro Access is a short walk.also great restaurants and pubs close by. Wish I could import what I had there to over here on the west coast!!!Cheers to everyone there!!!!

One of the best apartments I have lived at!!The office staff that works here are pretty friendly and helpful. Jacob and Meggie go above and beyond to make me feel home and be comfortable. It’s really the Perfect location to live in, minutes away to DC downtown and Georgetown. It has easy access to public transports and walk-able distance to 2 Metro stations (Rosslyn or Courthouse), also short walk to great restaurants and grocery stores.

Arlen is literally the best person. Hes overly qualified and super amazing. I rented this apartment partly because of him and Ill continue to renew as long as hes employed here. He always has a sincere smile on his face and he has the answers to every single question Ive ever asked. I dont even have to say my name or my apartment number when picking up a package or asking for storage/parking information – he remembers all of those little details and knows me and my boyfriend by name. Hes kind and thoughtful and a tremendous asset to the community.

This place is good if you can get a 1 bedroom with den that has carpet since it is extremely cheap for the size of the apartment. Everything was adequate, but I unfortunately had a problem while living there that created a cause for me to leave. Generally the staff is nice except they have a massive amount of turnover, i lived there for two years and saw several staff members leave. I would not live there again even if forced, but that was my experience.

Didnt receive my deposit for almost half year. They did not reply to my email anymore. Everytime I call them, they just said that they will call me back later, but they never call back!

The move in process was incredibly easy and Ty was very communicative with us throughout the entire time. We really like our apartment and the location of the neighborhood!

My wife and I have lived here for over a year now. While we have had a number of maintenance issues and requests in that time, they have all been addressed and completed in a very swift manner. When our heat was down, and they determined it would take a few days to fix, we were provided with a space heater.

Great experience living here and a convenient location to everything you really need. Have had pleasant experiences with all the staff but Mike in maintenance really stood out and went above and beyond to help me out when I needed it. Thanks Mike!

I have been a Rosslyn Heights resident for over 10 years as of this review, which should tell you plenty in and of itself.Rosslyn Heights is located at an almost perfect location: minutes from downtown DC by either car or taxi; easy access to I-66, Lee Highway, and Rt. 50. Walk to either the Rosslyn or Courthouse Metro stops (it’s almost exactly between the two). Increasing numbers of shops, restaurants, and bars are steps away.As for the property itself, it’s one of the few “garden style” apartment complexes around. At only 6 floors, it’s got a much more neighborly & open feel than those huge tower buildings. Amenities include 2 (small) pools and a modest gym. Lots of open space for walking dogs.One of the things I love best about Rosslyn Heights are the mainetenance staff: Mike, Kevin, and Salorn have all been here longer than I have, and they’ve never let me down. Whatever the issue, they’ve always responded quickly and efficiently, often going out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. They care for this property as if it were their own.Apartment complexes are by nature somewhat impersonal, but the Rosslyn Heights staff do their best to make it feel like home.

Ive been at RH over a year now and my experience has been nothing but positive! Living in a first floor apartment, my roommate and I have never had a pest, electrical, or security problem. The leasing office is extremely friendly and makes it a priority to know everyones name in the complex. RH is in a very convenient location for DC or Arlington commuters, connected to the Mt. Vernon trail system, and the neighborhood is constantly building up with great restaurants and businesses. Im very happy to call RH my home in the DC area!

Hello,I have lived at Rosslyn Heights for 2 years. I would recommend this place to anyone. it is very nice and in good area. People in office change a lot but they are still nice. I give 4 star because it is a bit expensive but other than that its perfect place to live with stores and restaurants close. we have had some things break like our sink plugged and our air conditioner break but the workers fix it very fast. boss of the workers is named Mike he is very nice man and always talks and explains to me all the things I ask of him. there is one other worker who fixes things also he is very good but also very quiet. Everyone that I have had to deal with has been a delight and I am very happy to live here..

Hello Mr. Piedrahita, I called post office and amazon, and they refunded the package. The best advice could be putting down offices address as mailing address. Besides this, everything s good, loved the location and pho 75 XD.

My second time living here. Noticed water leaking in bathroom around 4 am and left a message on emergency line. The maintenance man (Kevin, I believe) showed up within half an hour and had the problem fixed 15 to 20 minutes later.The complex is around 30 years old and maintenance issues do crop up from time to time. Its nice that they are promptly and competently addressed.

Arlen is the man! Noemi, the leasing agent there, helped me out - gave me a great deal. I couldnt be happier with the service and the apartment as well. Highly recommended. truly an exception in the world of service and apartment quality in DC/ Arlington area!-Ryan

Consistently sending my packages back. Not enough dongles for each apartment. Doesnt email when package does arrive. They try to raise the rent every year. Dont do it man.

Rosslyn Heights has been a fabulous place to live. Staff is very responsive to our needs and is very friendly. Located close to the Rosslyn metro, four grocery stores (Safeway, Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joes), coffee shops, pharmacy, and running trails. Very easy to get into DC through Georgetown, too. Overall, a gem in Virginia!

Everything is good, love the small lovely yard in front of my apartment. Nice restaurants surrounding, safe and clean neighbourhood. It would be great if the swimming pools are bigger.

Apartment is a nice size. unfortuately i would not rent here again though due to the non stop construction across the street. There are constant loud beeping trucks from dawn to dusk. A lot of the streets are closed off too and walking around is not easy. its just not worth the money

Decent building for the price and location. Be prepared to have your car towed a couple times because of a really unprofessional towing company. A car was recently stollen from the lot as well. Cant hear neighbors, most people are relaxed. Good bike storage area.

I requested that the walls of my apartment be repainted, and the staff arranged to have painters re-do all the walls at no extra cost. My apartment looks beautiful now!

They’ve had the money they owe me ‘on the way and in the mail’ since October. Every time I call, they say they’re going to call me back because they have to check with corporate. Horrible business practices.

I am a freshman at Georgetown University. I have compared it online and decided to choose here after DC. The advantages are as follows: 1. Convenient transportation, walk to the subway station in five minutes, next to the school station, to the school for half an hour. 2. The environment is fresh, the community is scattered on the side of the trail, surrounded by woods, running squirrels in the morning, there are two swimming pools in the community, one gym and one conference hall. Of course, they are very small, but enough. 3. The surrounding facilities are complete. There are safeway and whole foods for shopping, convenience store 711, and two large shopping malls in the subway station. 4. There are many students, and many of the students living in the surrounding and neighboring communities are GU students. They will never be alone and can meet new friends. 5. The room is fully equipped. I live in the 2b2b room, 3 people share, the choice is very good, the refrigerator, washing machine, dryer are all available, no smell, every time the carpet is replaced, the service is in place. 6. The staff of Leasing Office is very NICE, and of course it may be a common phenomenon in American service. Especially the white little brother. Give him a face to write a comment
