This just isn’t the best place to live it’s like a last resort. If you can’t find anywhere else to stay I understand but there are plenty of other apartments around this area. This one in particular will charge you for literally anything they can they even charge you a small amount just to pay your rent, they make money however they can and I can’t really blame them for that. But you CANNOT get out of the lease whatsoever unless you have someone that wants to live there they won’t even let you pay to cancel it. So overall not the best place to go if you can find somewhere else I would. But I didn’t give the a 1 star because the office ladies and maintenance people are genuinely nice people just doing their jobs

PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING!! I first thought this was a great safe place to live- it’s not. I got towed my first day moving in, the tow yard knew I lived here I just didn’t have my sticker up so I still had to pay $300. They don’t specify on where u can and can’t park so people get towed constantly (there’s a corner spot in the visitor section that doesn’t have a letter on it so people get towed there even tho it’s in visitor it section) The elevator, or the gates NEVER work even tho they always say they’re having repairs done, the pool is the same way. NONE of the cameras work they’re there for show. You’ll get fined for just about anything even if it’s not your fault. I’ve lived with a roommate who had multiple assault charges who have threatened my other roommates and I and they did nothing about it because apparently a threat isn’t enough to do anything- they’ve destroyed property in the unit multiple times and we’re never charged but management said if our drawer was to be broken again we would be charged for it not the roommate who actually broke the drawer since they moved to a new unit. My car was also broken into, everything was stolen and even tho I pay renters insurance it doesn’t cover anything outside of unit. People are trashy and leave their trash in the stairwell instead of being grown ups and throwing it out themselves. People in the office are kind but don’t do anything to help at all. It’s stressful living here. AND THE LEASE IS BINDING YOU CANT GET OUT OF IT!!!! Please pay extra to live somewhere else.

Great location very close to UTA. Units are more spacious than I thought they’d be. Pool, clubhouse, and gym are nice. So far, they’ve been very prompt with maintenance requests.

On move in day the elevator was not working, my toilet would not work at all and they put in a maintenance request at a medium priority even though it should have been working upon move in. There are roaches everywhere and the staircases constantly smell awful. The internet has been down on the 3rd and 4th floor for over 24 hours, and the office didn’t care when they were asked about it.

Whether student or working professional, choosing a home is a major decision that directly correlates to ones wellbeing. I thought that Maverick Place Apartments would understand this, so I willingly chose this community over another which I was approved for on my own. I signed a lease and had a date in place. On the lease start date ahead of my flight that evening, I called to confirm the mailing address to send all of my 23 boxes of belongs to, across the country. When I did, I was told that not only had an apartment not been assigned to me (even though I was taking over a specific persons lease with whom I and the office, as admitted by Elizabeth, had consistent communication with), but that I was screening was not complete... This was new to me, as I had already signed the legally binding lease agreement several days prior with Melissa and heard none of this. Elizabeth said she would call back after speaking with her manager. My screening was promptly started then around 11:30am (email notification from a reporting bureau). I received a call to say unless I pay 3 months worth (2month deposit + move in) upon arrival or get a guarantor, they could offer other assistance or remedy for their mistake. This is unacceptable to tell someone on the day that their lease is set to start. Ive worked as a Leasing Manager with industry leaders and the way that this was handled and the lack of professionalism, accountability, or flexibility was horrific. Not only did no one care, they didnt even fake it. So now, here I am forced to move and ship my items with no where to go or send them to. Not only that, but I have to pay additional money to arrange alternative accommodations in the meantime and possibly even cancel my flight due to their mistake. I will be escalating this matter, as the emotional and financial duress caused can not be ignored.Parents, Students, and Individuals alike: Please make sure that you understand the lack of organization and transparency that you may have to encounter. Make sure everything is documented and that you have an alternative plan in case they switch on the day of without a care like they did me. If you dont mind any of that, perhaps it could work for you.Best of Luck!

Clean and great value for the price! Staff has always been nice and maintenance is quick with requests. They always communicate any issues with me so I know why they haven’t finished the job and it helps so much. Already renewed my lease and would recommend this place to any and all friends! Shoutout to Alex for helping me understand my lease!

I’m so excited to move to Maverick Place! After seeing their location, the value they offer, and meeting the staff, I can’t wait to move-in! I can see myself keeping this as my home through all of college!

MP is a such a nice community. Its super close to campus and so affordable. Elizabeth was very helpful in helping me learn more about my future home!

Had the pleasure of going on a guided tour at the Maverick Place Apartments with Tomorrow. I really like the set up and community here. There are solid parking options for guests and I was excited to learn about the pet policy. Tomorrow explained the policy to me in a useful way. I also liked the pool area and the walk in closets in a few units I saw.

Great location near campus and the office staff are helpful. Best bang for your buck when you want to be close to UTA but not directly on campus.

These apartments are great! Great scenery, location and scenery. Management was nice and definitely helpful, which isn’t always the case. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to come here.

Ive really had a good time living here. Theyve the cheapest rates around UTA and the facilities provided are good for the money you pay. The staff are very helpful and they organise a lot of events for the residents. They also provide free food for the residents(as events). Some of the reviews are pretty critical but I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Throughout the pandemic they have been super safe too.

I’ve been here since August and have never seen anything like Maverick Place. Great rates. Helpful staff, great community. No complaints here but I do have one suggestion. Rain mats at the stairwells and entrances. The last week that it consistently rained, the stairs were completely wet and the hallways all throughout the building, away from any window or stairwells, covered with water. I saw people falling down the stairs and slipping in the halls every day that week. Huge safety hazard. Other than that. I love the building and have already signed for another year.

I’ve been living at these apartments for about 5 months now and I really like living here. The rates are some of the cheapest compared to other apartments and it’s so close to the campus. The gates and doors lock so I feel safer and more comfortable living here. The 4x4 have a pretty spacious kitchen and living area who’s is super nice. The staff is nice and helpful when i’ve had questions or concerns. The only thing is that the hallways can get a little gross with spills or anything that but other that I have no complaints!

They are extremely helpful, I accidentally got locked out of my apartment bedroom after hours and with a quick text someone came within ten minutes and unlocked the door for me. I’ve had nothing but a good experience so far. The staff are attentive and helpful!

Where do I even begin. The lease was probably only a few months thru before I couldn’t wait till it was over. The lowest rent in the city really shows, this apartment is atrocious. The fire alarm has gone off at random intervals through the whole building at least 7 times. Between my friends and I, we’ve been towed 6 times due to lack of clarity about parking and absolutely zero tolerance. The apartment lost power which isn’t solely their fault but every other apartment nearby was able to keep some power. While I was at work, a pipe in my bathroom burst and flooded my bathroom, bedroom, closet, and kitchen. They immediately made sure I understood they would not be replacing any of my items destroyed by the water. This apartment complex is sleazy, undercutting, and unhelpful. The staff is nice enough but they simply do not do near enough as help for their residents. I extremely recommend to pay the extra bit of rent somewhere else so that you don’t have to go through any of the many problems that this apartment has.

I love living at Maverick Place! It’s so convenient to live so close to campus & live somewhere where i feel at home! The apartments are amazing & you get so much for the amazingly low prices!

Maverick was excalty what I was looking for. Being new to the area the staff was very helpful and Charles made the experience worthwhile. Awesome!

Ive really had a good time living here. Some of the reviews are pretty critical but I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They have a ton of different events where they provide free food to residents. Throughout the pandemic they have been super safe too. During move-in it seems like they did more than any other student living place around here. Im a stickler for it so I love how seriously they took it.

Please don’t move here, i just saw 10 cockroaches crawl out of my sink that had two dishes in it. the cockroach problem is horrible. its disgusting and dirty, and when you tour the place the model that they show you looks nothing like the units you move into. the units are dirty, poorly painted, and appliances are falling apart. the only reason they have good reviews is because they bribe tenants to leave good reviews for raffle prizes, i edited this review from a “good” one i previously posted because i couldn’t stand how bad it is here.

The staff is beyond amazing! Charles and Alex were very attentive during my walkthrough and sooooo patient with me when answering my many questions. Could not ask for better service!

Maverick Place has been a great place to live for the past 2 years, management has stepped up their game and have been more involved with the residence. Maintenance is very quick and does the job right. Definitely will be renewing again for a third year!

I love Maverick Place! The people in the office are so friendly I honestly cant believe it. My last apartment had really rude staff and it always was a pain going in there. Here though, theyre super helpful.

It was super easy to sign a lease and get to know everything about the place. Rutaba was amazing at helping my roommates and I find a place!

Maverick Place is awesome. The staff is super friendly. The maintenance team knocks out all work orders in a timely fashion. My roommates are hilarious. The fees are reasonable and the location is convenient.

This review is only based on the leasing aspect of Maverick Place, once I live here 3 months I’ll comeback and update the review.First off Maddy deserves all 5 stars alone(one of the agents here) was super helpful and patient. She answered all my questions, didn’t rush my decision process, and corrected my contract if I noticed anything strange before signing.

Maverick Place has definitely improved over the past two years that I have lived here. The staff is super friendly, and really cares to connect with residents even in the midst of a pandemic. Also apartments are one of the cheapest in the area! The cons to this apartment is there is always something in the hallways such as; smell of weed, dog poop, vomit, someones drink, and trash. The mavericks place team has done a good job with cleaning up behind those that are not following the guidelines set by the apartment. They also send emails out reminding residents of those guidelines if it becomes a problem! If I wasnt moving to D.C. I was consider staying.

Not a bad place to live if you go to UTA. The prices are better than many other apartments around campus. Maintenance is quick to come around when a work order is put in. Wouldnt really recommend it if you have dogs since the rooms are very small they wont have much freedom to walk around. Visitor parking is always packed but if your visitors park elsewhere they will get towed. Theres always tow trucks driving around at night.

I have lived at Maverick Place for over a year now. My overall experience has been wonderful until recently when a part of my car was stolen from within the gated parking lot. I have notified staff but management has not gotten back to me.

I love Mavericks place. The staff is super helpful and friendly.The only problem I have is it can get a bit loud on the weekends when there are parties. But if you have an outward facing apartment that wouldn’t be a problem.

I just moved in and I am liking this place already as a student. It is peaceful and the staff are great. I especially like Rutaba from the main office, she is very helpful. Also, you get to know new people which is a plus.

I would give this apartment 5 stars, but there is one thing that annoys me more than anything. For the last three years, the elevator has worked for less than 1 year. For me, I guess that’s a plus tho, since I need the exercise. However, there is one saving grace for this apartment complex, and that is the leasing office staff. Very friendly people who are always very nice and respectful. Specifically, I’m talking about Justin. Tomorrow and Toriq are amazing as well, but the connection I’ve established with Justin has made me feel more comfortable when I have a problem and need to speak with someone. He’s always willing to help. In addition, I would give this place 5 stars, if it wasn’t for Justin calling me “Robert” one time. I will never forgive that. My name is Matthew. Overall, great place.

I am a resident here at Maverick Place and I love it. The location of the apartments are very close to campus and the campus shuttle that picks up and drops off right on campus is very beneficial. The staff here is very nice and friendly as well. Justin, one of the front office members, is always so kind and friendly and is always going above and beyond to make sure all the residents are accommodated too. I am very happy I choose the Maverick Place!

I love living here! Its a great property with great amenities. They have fresh coffee available 24/7 in the club room and a full computer lab! The people in the office are a joy to be around, especially Tomorrow Allen! I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

The refrigerator and microwave was left filthy and smelly by the old roommate that moved out. My daughter moved into the apartment she had to clean the refrigerator and microwave herself. Who know what could be under the refrigerator. The apartment people told my daughter that they do not clean the refrigerator and microwave which is not right. The apartment was supposed to be cleaned when she moved in but it wasnt. The oven and stove top was also dirty but they cleaned that but not the microwave n refrigerator. This is very disappointing and my daughter shouldnt have to clean anything herself. She should moved into a nice and cleaned apartment. The 350.00 gift card that was promise she wont get until the end of the month which made no sense. They need the money while they still have time to go buy the stuff for the apartment before school start 8/26/2020. I called the apartment and they will clean the refrigerator n microwave for my daughter so she doesnt have to do it herself. Also, will get the 350.00 that was promise next week. They still didnt clean the refrigerator when the lease lady I spoke to on the phone said they would. This is ridiculous and not right. When we first booked the apartment they sound so good but when moved in they give my daughter a dirty, nasty apartment. Patio full of bird poop you cant even go to the balcony. We went to visit her we had to help my daughter clean the apartment. Beware Its not like what they show you on Instagram.

Apartments are fully furnished and provide appliances too, most utilities are covered and closets are spacious. Amenities are also great and the staff is always doing fun things!

I give this complex a 5 star rating! Although I am looking for a conventional apartment. Tomorrow, gave an AMAZING tour! Maverick Place is a great place to stay. If the staff are as great as Tomorrow then I will say the tenants current and new are in for a treat! Go check them out and see for yourself.

Well first of all the building looks GREAT! I could definitely see myself living here, personally. And secondly, Kim gave me and my boyfriend the most amazing tour. She was so warm and welcoming and clearly has a lot of experience being a leasing agent! I will likely be signing a lease based off of her amazing customer service!!!

Looking forward to moving in. Looks like an amazing place for students. Very close to campus. Shuttle bus to campus picks up students right outside the apartment. Rutaba was very kind and provided the necessary knowledge to help me with the leasing process.

Mav place is one of the most laid back apartment complexes I’ve lived in. I’ve never had any issues with anything in my apartment except for the batteries went out in my fire alarm. They had it fixed immediately and he also fixed a cabinet that was the slightest bit wonky while he was there. The management and maintenance crew have helped me out many times. Including walking me up the stairs when I got out of the hospital which I thought was very sweet. Love living here and my only complaint is the elevator because sometimes it is really needed like when you just returned from the hospital but regardless they still made sure I made it safely up the stairs. :)

Tomorrow was amazing! She gave me a great tour of the property when I came for a visit. She gave me detailed rates and a great estimate of what I would be paying monthly. She brightened up my day apartment hunting with great energy.

I was really impressed with these apartments. The floor plans are amazing and the young lady that gave the tour , Tomorrow Allen, was so energetic and informative. I thought conventional apartment life would be the best fit for me until I toured the facility with Tomorrow. Thank you for a new perspective on apartment living and an awesome tour.

I like these apartments for the price and the proximity to the UTA campus. The staff is really nice and they have taken a lot of precautions for covid-19 which is nice to see!

I genuinely appreciate living at Mavs place. From Manny the efficient maintenance man, to Justin the delightful leasing coordinator, and the dapper Alex I met today in charge of student relations, I feel safe and well taken care of coming back to an apartment as well managed as this one at the end of the day.The spacious floor plan, price, and amenities, are what brought me here, but its the people that made me want to stay.

I have gotten to know the staff at Maverick place during my stay and they are the absolute best! Manny and Chris (head maintenance men) are the kindest and most helpful when you need anything! As for the leasing office workers, they are the best! Everyone is so eager to help and always has a smile on their face:)

Get a cut from the towing company driving thru preying on unsuspecting apartment visitors. Not enough visitor parking spaces so if you park even one spot over they will tow you. Sketchy apartment complex renters and visitors beware!

Literally going through a global pandemic and unemployment; yet, there is no compromise on letting my lease go? I understand a lease is a binding contract, but when you give someone only the options during a crisis of just, Pay the full amount or find someone to take over your lease, thats ridiculous. Literally got this apartment before everything, and now trying to give more than 30 days to try to compromise with me and my situation, yet all I get is a, Yeah....sorry.

I love the staff members, especially Tomorrow. She was so sweet, respectful and informative, while on an apartment tour. The experience was great and although i still on the look, i still consider this place on top of my list.

Tomorrow is the absolute best! She is so helpful in every situation and truly makes living at Maverick place the best! Knowing there is someone who can always help in the front desk is very reassuring!

So far so Good! I had to look for a spot last minute due to COVID and i believe i found a great spot at the perfect time. The staff is very polite and friendly specifically Toriq which was my tour guide and leasing personel.I look forward to living in the beautiful facility.

I just currently moved and and I completely love my space , im able to move freely without feeling locked in my room, the Mavericks place is one of the first student living I lived where the property is clean and smells good at 95% of the time. I really enjoy living here !

Great apartment, This girl named Tomorrow gave us a great tour of the place! Very sweet and answered all of our questions! Showed us the ins and outs.

The maintenance man, Manny, is so thorough and caring! He is great at his job and comes to fix mishaps asap. Ive enjoyed having my own space and the roommates that I was assigned are pretty cool. I love the actual unit because its warm and homey unlike some other student apartments. The clubhouse and fitness center are pretty dope too!

I recommend that you avoid delivering food here.
