Brice is by far the best down to earth person in the area. I had my White Nissan Skyline GTR (R32) completely rebuilt by a shop I wont name, but after spending nearly 20k at that shop, that shop did things VERY poorly. My car was not running straight from day 1, took it back to the other shop many times and they stated nothing was wrong. I took to Alamo because I noticed he worked on Skylines and BOOM he found the issues, and had my car running great again. Not only that, Brice is a straight down to earth kind of guy. He didnt try to nickle and dime me like the other shop, but instead he said there are couple of other things that needs to be fixed, but lets hold off going single because if I am happy with 460 WHP then no need to spend more money. If Im not happy with 460 WHP, then we can come back to the table and look into making more power and setting a power goal.This guy knows his Skylines and tuning. Basically have a customer for life now.

I have been a coustomer for several years. Very knowledgeable shop, the owner is down to earth guy, always have answered my question. Also have helped me get parts at the most reasonable price. So far, this has been the most authentic place Ive been to. My second visit was an unannounced one asking for a quick plug and weld and they took care of it within 30 minutes even though they always have their hands full. You can tell they know what they are doing once you see the kind of cars they work on and will be my go to place when things get serious on my car

The owner is a real straight shooter, after having several shops work my engine he asked me my goals both power and type of driving id be performing. Turns out the shop also has all the parts I needed on hand. word of advise dont go to this shop and act like you know it all. Cause you will be educated on your engine. great shop and great car guy feel.

I want to say thank you to the team at Alamo Autosports for being able to get my truck in for its dyno tune. If those guys could have seen the smile on my face as I started the truck up and drove it home theyd know this is a genuine 5 star review. I have a feeling theyll be seeing the truck again.

I went to this shop to have a clutch put in my 08 civic si. I took it to one place and they would not do it since my car is supercharged. I had bought a clutch from a company that I buy most of my car parts from. I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up that evening. I talked to two different people, both of which were very friendly.( one over the phone. I got a quote from him. I talked to a different person when I got there). The price turned out to be less then quoted. Which is always good. As for the work they did a great job and have had no problems. I would take my car back to them for any other work that I dont feel like doing. I would recommend this shop highly.

The only shop I use in DFW. Not only do they know everything they stock a huge variety of parts. Great service and great prices. A little more for labor than some of the other shops but the quality of work speaks for itself. Come here first it done right the first time.

Not only the best shop Ive ever had the pleasure working with, is also THE most honest and straightforward shops in the entire DFW if not Texas.Brice is meticulous in his work and takes pride in all he touches. Most shops these days dont even know what self respect is anymore. Alamo is one of the last true performance shops in operation today.

Awesome staff! Not sure about the bad reviews as my experience was nothing short great. I am not a paid reviewer and this is the first time Ive done business here. I found them by doing a Google search for Perrin dealers. I called ahead and was given the store policy on ordering items and everything else fell into place from there. Chad was able to get me the CAI I was looking for with same day pickup. I havent done alot of mods to any of my vehicles so I had a lot of questions that he answered without talking down to me. I look 15 years younger than my age, but I didnt feel discriminated in any way. I talked to them like an adult and the respect was returned. Definitely earned my business.

Alamo did it again , brought my Subaru back to Alamo because I got more car parts and needed another tune , the results I got on the dyno and on the road are great!! the power band I have is smooth and safe so I know when I do get on it its not going it damage my engine , overall very happy and will be back.

Been going to Alamo since around 1999. With that said I would recommend them for anything performance or just an oil change. Hands down the best shop in DFW import or domestic.

Well once I found out that my headlights and fog lights stopped working, I found out that the HID installation job done by Alamo was so bad, I had to have a professional make sure he knew what they did and install them properly. When I go to a so called professional shop I expect to pay for an excellent job, they zip tied most of it and left soo many wires loose most of them melted, they ask premium prices and I would not trust any mechanical job if they cant do basics....

Took 2 months to get a no start diagnosis and a tune that wasnt done properly. My car runs lean and sputters on full throttle. There was apparently a fuel leak that wasnt seen and was tuned on, so Im assuming my car was thrown in the back and wasnt taken seriously. I was told it was tuned once and I was supposed to test drive it. The test drive went normal, but when I got home, it starting acting up. I called back for a re-tune, and was told Id be called back. Its been 3 weeks and Ive yet to hear back. Id stay away from them, they dont seem to care about you unless you drop $10,000+.

Took my car in for a tune. Had to wait a long time with little to no explanation for the tuner to be ready. He seemed knowledgeable, but was not very friendly, and seemed bothered by any questions that I asked.

While their shop was clean and neat, the people working the desk were kids, not very courteous or professional, the guy who knew anything about giving me a quote on a build was pretty rude when asking for specifics. Not very appealing. My maintenance mechanic must enjoy his job way more than these guys.

While a bit slow, mostly because everyone in the area is begging for his time, Bryce and his team do quality work.He was the first dyno in North Texas, and now hes got like 3 dynos.Always cool cars hanging around his shop getting work done.Dont try to squeeze in unexpectedly, if you dont have at least a month to wait for them to take a look at it, a plan of what you want done, and the cash ready to drop, youre not gonna have a good experience. They are very busy all the time, even during the winter.VWs/Audi/Porsche should go to VSquared across the street.

Horrible customer service. Stood in lobby area for 20 min before someone came and helped. Several employees walked by and saw me but did not ask if I needed help. I had an appt for 9am and turns out they didnt have me on schedule and wanted to charge me $1200 to move a fuse box 3 ft (wiretuck). I dont doubt that they do good work but the key to any good business is customer service. Good waste of my time.

Brice tuned my AWD TBSS and was very informative throughout the tune. Easy to reach and a great person to deal with.

I took my Corvette in for a dyno tune after installing my headers (waited over 2 weeks for an appointment). Brice seems like a decent guy but he was having some trouble with the dyno, and after a few pulls he told me my clutch was slipping. I was kinda surprised because id had no problems on the road, but since the car has 100k on it, I went ahead and asked for a quote on the clutch job. Since then, I took the car to the strip and ran a 13.5 and also did a full track day at Cresson in 100 degree heat. I didnt feel any slippage at either event. To his credit Brice seems knowledgeable about tuning and he did go ahead and throw a generic tune on the car, but said he couldnt clean up the fuel maps without the dyno. And Ive never heard back about the clutch quote. They may know alot about tuning but dont seem to care about getting my business.*Follow up* I pulled the clutch myself and it looks almost brand new. not even close to the rivets. Sorry Brice maybe look into some remedial training.

Have had all the work on my subaru done here, they do everything from sleeving to basic bolt ons to tuning. They even do welding and fabrication. Fairly impressive considering theres only 3 people running the shop. The knowledge here is impressive and I dont think Ill ever need to go anywhere else!

I found alamo via an internet search/ebay for their Haltech products. I bought two o2 sensors - I think they were just about the lowest price I could find for this particular sensor. Brice was very helpful over the phone making sure it had the correct harness and the correct replacement part. The sensors were shipped out that day and arrived in a timely manner. Very happy with the transaction and will go to them first when I need additional haltech parts.
