Zachary is a tech who we had today for our touch up. 5 stars!! He was very genuine, detailed, and methodical in his work. He addressed all of our concerns. He was willing to spray the rafters in our basement after I noted persistent spider activity. Dog friendly mouse traps placed. He even helped us set up an in depth home inspection once he identified signs of mice activity to help us find the point of entry and eradicate them. Today he made us feel very happy with the service we pay for. THANK YOU! (:

Jose S has great consultative skills, and also has a very proactive approach to the house needs. I have a fence (that I hate and will replace soon) that is a hotel to wasps. I marked 7 areas to clear. Jose came over and took care of those areas, PLUS he took a deeper look and found 3 more nests! He asked if there was anything to consider while I was there. I couldnt think of anything else, but he did mention that he cleared out a ton of spider webs in other areas. This gesture impressed me because I didnt think of asking to do it, and he proactively took the time to clear them. Overall, great attitude and very professional.

As with a previous reviewer, their first visit went well, but...I was home for that and was able to see what the tech did while there. However, the second visit, not so good. I was given a 2 day notice via text when they would be arriving, which clearly stated to confirm the appt with a YES reply. I did not confirm and was out of town at the time, so I figured I would call when I returned to reschedule. The tech showed up anyways and therefore did not make it inside to treat my home. I brushed it off and figured with the next text I would call right away if needed. Again, I received only a 2 day notice, which actually gave me less than 24 hours to reschedule. When I called to change the date, I was given another date and time and told that my appt for the following morning was cancelled. NOT! When I returned home from work that day the door hanger was there indicating the tech had been there to service my home, again, not going inside for a treatment. And, the removed webs was checked off, which I still have in my egress windows.When I called the second time for the same appt to make a complaint, I was told that I did not have an appt change for that visit, so the upcoming date and time I thought would work was not even on their schedule. Apparently the Arizona office does not communicate with the Illinois office. When I did finally get someone in Illinois, I was told that I could not cancel my service without paying a penalty of $150 and it would automatically be renewed. I wont be renewing, I can guarantee that! I was also told that I would receive a call back within a day to get a new appointment - this review is 9 days post my third call to reschedule and I am still waiting for someone to contact me.

Joseph our tech is always so very helpful and very personable. He makes sure to address all our concerns. We love this company and the fact we rarely have any bug issues. The biggest plus is that they were the only company to get rid of our mouse issues - being next to a wooded area may not have been easy but they got the job D>O>N>E!! Thank you!!

The ONLY reason Im giving 5 stars is for the exemplary customer service I received from Jasmina. She was empathetic to my concerns when the technician showed up for less than 15 minutes and did not service my full area. Jasmina was quick to make sure we would have someone call and get another tech out. Unfortunately, they cant come until July 7th. Jasmina should run a customer service training program for everyone else. She is definitely the only person who actually cares about providing true service.

I was slightly overcharged for a service and was a little frustrated. I spoke to a nice lady named Epiphany and she assisted me in a very expedient matter. She Made me feel like a priority. Great customer service! The company so far is great as well.

I had Terminex and they said that terminex doesnt cover stinkbugs which we have so I cancelled and signed up but then later found they can’t cover stinkbugs. After a few iterations with them I realized the service isn’t working and cancelled. They said I still owe the remaining future sprayings. I refuse as they did not improve my bug problem it was the same. They may as well spray water around my house. As such I do not recommend. If you have stink bugs, spiders, asian beetles/lady bugs try another company or method and save your money as I feel this is fraudulent. Also the customer service people are rude and once they have you they give this arrogant condescending tone. The call center person at corporate was better about dealing with customers but they don’t really have any real power to resolve my issue so I cancelled.

The actual service provided is completely different than what is sold to you and detailed in the contract. After further investigation, it became evident that this service is a scam (I recommend reading the reviews on Yelp).I was sold on this service when a sales representative came to my door. He informed me that he and his father were in the area providing service to existing customers in my neighborhood, including two houses in my cul de sac. He listed my neighbors by name, but having just moved in (which he was aware of, he told me as such) I wasnt able to verify their names on the spot. He told me that they had some extra time in their schedule for the day and since they already had the chemicals in the truck, his father authorized him to offer a discount. Since we actually were having pest problems I told him about them and showed him some of our biggest issues. He explained that they would be able to resolve the issues I listed, as well as provide several other services at the discounted rate. As such, I set an appointment for him to return later that day. After this, I quickly looked up reviews, and saw that it held a 4.9 star rating on Google reviews and decided to keep the appointment.When the appointment time arrived, two technicians (neither of whom were the sales representative or his father) arrived at my door with a contract to sign and a pamphlet detailing the initial service. They had me sign the contract prior to beginning service (including a statement saying that I loved the service I received today), and after doing so the sales representative arrived to collect my payment information. The sales representative then detailed my issue to the technicians and they began their work, which I was told would take about an hour. After about 10 minutes the technicians left without notifying me. When I went outside to review the work done, I was surprised to see that very few of the services requested or detailed in the pamphlet were completed. Services promised but not delivered included baiting/trapping, wall injections, removing spiderwebs and wasp/bee nests, and wasp eradication. The services that were provided (power spray, indoor precision treatment, and granulation) were done haphazardly and in some areas skipped entirely.After this unacceptable service, I investigated the company further. Many of the 5 star reviews on Google were from customers who only had one service or had only talked to the sales representative and were impressed by the services presented to them, several specifically citing we will see how this goes or similar apprehensions. I noticed on Yelp that the company only has 2.5 stars, with reviews largely split between 1 star reviews and 5 star reviews. Many of the 1 star reviews cited the exact situation I had - salesperson naming neighbors who supposedly had the service (and who turned out didnt have the service or didnt even live there currently), saying that they had extra time/materials so they could offer service at a discount, and having an initial service that was extremely rushed and visibly did not perform most of the tasks that the initial service entails. When the reviewers cancelled the service, they were charged cancellation fees equal equal to the discount they received (this is outlined in at least my contract) despite never receiving the quality and scope of service they paid for, and some were sent to collections over this amount.When I called to cancel, the customer service agent didnt attempt to resolve the situation (despite their 100% satisfaction guarantee and promise that theyll come out to fix any issues at no cost), and did not attempt to retain my business - it was clear that this was a common occurrence, and that their central business model is to just collect the large cancellation fees.

This is the third time that I had a technician come to my house and I must say I was blown away by Joseph. The past two treatments declined when I asked them to treat the window wells on my home but Joseph got inside and dusted them down I was so pleased! He had so much good energy and was very polite not to mention he went over and beyond! I’m very happy that the service is working and I am no longer having the same issues as I was before way to go Ecoshield!

I wish there was an option on Google to give zero stars. Not sure how this company has such good reviews. To keep it short: Impossible to get in contact with them, ineffective pest removal, poor value.They have come out 8 (EIGHT) times to treat for yellow jacket nests around my property and each and every time they have accomplished exactly nothing. I have dozens of wasps flying around my home making the patio unusable and simply being outside puts you at risk for a sting. They are clearly nesting somewhere and Ecoshield has FAILED over and over and over and over again to fix the problem. They claim their services are backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I am 100% unsatisfied and furthermore it is very difficult to speak to a manager or reach anyone corporate with this company. Will be taking my business and my recommendation elsewhere and I advise you do the same.I had to personally clear wasp nests from behind my shutters after they failed time and time again to do anything about it. 8 visits and they accomplished nothing. I would like to give absolutely ZERO stars for this company. I feel that I felt in a trap.The first visit was a circus. With the Sales man getting on my roof with my own ladder, because they didn’t have one and the crew, accordingly to them were not insured to go over the roof. I bet the sales man wasn’t as well. And this was before I call him twice, after them were gone. They didn’t treat my garage, even I am saying was the worst spot.I gave the second change. It happened 10min ago, 2nd visit. I was promised they had to apply twice on first 2 months to break the cycle of insects, alright. The guy that was here just asked me if everything was Ok and walked around the house.Really??? 169 dollars to walk around the house!?!? Based on other reviews, or I am very unlucky, or the sales man sold a completely wrong service and speech. I am cancelling the service right now, hoping this company will not charge me anything else, based on the very poor job provided to me.

I have a disappointing experience with EchoShield today. Even more disappointed when I read some reviews saying the guys took out all spider webs in the garage, well, not on mine. They barely treated inside de garage. Even I telling them it is the worse place.I had a wasp nest on the top of the house and they didn’t take it out the first time. I had to call the salesman and complain. They came back but I had to lend my leather for them to get to the roof. They said they would service my house for all bugs they sprayed outside and inside my home the first time around May. I got a email from them ever so often the first time they sprayed they said it was for all bugs, and that I would notice mass exodus after they spray ,I didn’t notice.we did notice a lot of spiders and called, they told us there is really nothing they can do about spiders. They supposedly sprayed again because I got a email from them I had so many of the red Beatles all over my house but they say they sprayed a week a a half ago. I got a email saying they had servaced my house again ang for two weeks I have had the tank looking bugs everywhere. Today was my last service please discontinued my service and charge me no more. Your guy email me and said he serviced my house today, I have been in my house and up since 5am till now when I write this and can see the front and rear and have not seen anyone. Great Customer Service and great products!

We live In Long Grove next to field and have mice in our attic. We paid $11,600.00 to Ecoshield to remove said mice, old insulation, and re-insulate. We STILL have mice in our attic/walls 3 months later. I have called our local Ecoshield manager Zarifa multiple times in the last 3 months, and she’s always conveniently on the phone...Every time...When she knows it’s me. I asked to speak to her manager Cory, and I can only speak to him after I get through to her. I’m sure you see the dilemma. I’m sitting here watching a Halloween movie with my family listening to mice destroy my house. We’ve spent $11,300.00 to take care of this problem, and can’t even get a call back since we paid our invoice. This company is a joke. Don’t use them the unless you like to fall asleep to the sound of mice chewing and destroying your home along with any memories that you have stored up there. 🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭

Matt just completed servicing our home in Gurnee. He did an exceptional job treating the outside and inside of our home. He was very thorough asking my wife and I questions about insect activity throughout the home, permission to enter rooms, and worked around our dogs. Matt from EcoShield was here today and was wonderful to work with. He was very thorough and polite. When he checked our outside bait trap, he noticed a smell of gas that was more than normal and brought it to my attention. He also added extra bait traps on our first floor, garage and basement to help with the mice. Thank you for your wonderful service.

A sales rep knocked on my door and presented a service that was worth the investment, said it would take about an hour. Later two guys showed up to do the work. They spent about 15 minutes on my property. I walked inside with one guy to show him the house and by the time I walked back outside the Other guy was done. The outside was not treated properly I have spider webs around my property. My family said inside the guy did not walk into most rooms. I called to cancel the agreement and future visit for second treatment . I TOLD them I will be on vacation at that time. When I returned from vacation I got an email that the service was performed the day before I returned and I was charged again. Now I cant reach them on phone.

EcoShield Pest Solutions is the worst company I have ever worked with. They rope you into a contract, don’t disclose that there is a cancellation fee of $150. They were 3 hours late for their first appointment and an hour late for their 2nd. Never have actually been in my house and tried to charge for two applications. Fraudulent. Predatory. Shameful. Avoid at all costs!

He scoped it for mice, came up and told me about our mice issues which we don’t have a very large problem as we’ve have bait and traps down there already.He gave me some good information about what to do If we see more activity.Hunter was also very respectful and kind and very pleasurable to have service my home.

I did talk to someone who called me back from a email I sent which said account was paid in full. But They keep sending emails saying unpaid, but agreement states must be Paid in full before services performed. Fraud and taking advantage of seniors. Stay away. BBB complaint filed.*****UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW****The fake response below from the Owner Is not a true response. I was switched from phone to phone. They are still not taking care of my issues, and I have requested them to cancel my account. They sent a email stating they will charge me. This company practices Fraud as to what the service should be, they took money from my mom, and lost it, now want to charge her again. Then since they are unprofessional, do not do as the contract states, want to charge you for cancelling. Stay away from the company. Use anyone else. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY by a company not doing what they said they would do.

Robert was the service man today who completed the routine maintenance on our house. His work was diligent, and efficient and his mannerism was polite and honest. He informed me that as it may start to pour, the spray around the house might wash away and if we feel that we need to re do the spray, we can call the office and let them know. Just had Ernesto and Kenny out to service our house inside and out. Very thorough and patient and responsive in taking the time to figure out our areas of concern.
