This Lowes was great! Everyone who worked there was super helpful and friendly! We now have a new Lowes that we will go to all the time. Plus we love the variety that Lowes offers vs other home improvement stores!

I took my wife there because she want to see if they have anything good for the house.She like the store in the past got some nice vanity from there.they had good people there that helped but its not the same anymoreDont like it home depot and menards is the best of of the 3 stores,Thats where I shop but Im a contractor what do I know.

We can always find what we need in person or online. The store is clean and organized. Most of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Who knew it would be hard to find Semi transparent concrete stain. I had to go all the way out to Arlington Heights to find but I needed. So I bought an extra can and didnt have them tinted in case I needed to return it. Turns out I did need it so I brought it over to my local Lowes. Maxine, the associate who helped me went above and beyond.

This is one of my go-to places for tools, building materials, etc. Generally better customer service than home depot. Though occasionally hard to find staff in a big store.

Was able to customize the lamp shades I wanted with a light fixture. Worked great.

It appears that Lowes has a better selection of goods and products overall. This is even more true about their Garden center as they have a better variety there and their perennial plants and flowers dont go into a mass extinction mode at the end of the season, as it happened a few times with the perennial plants that I had purchased at other big name home improvement chains.

Plants are very well stocked. Place was busy but lines were not long.

Managers tonight were pro active and offered great customer service , we had an issue with a grill that we bought at the store, was never delivered, 3 different trips to the store, no answers, today they solve the issues and we are so happy knowing that they took care of it. Thank you to the managers. Sorry, could not catch their names, pm shift, females. Definitely we will continue being Loews customers.

We ordered new carpeting for the whole house. Beth was knowledgeable and nice to work with. In fact, she sold us a new front door a few years ago!

I asked three people who works there waited 20 minutes for someone to cut blinds, nobody came, nobody showed up no budy care . I have the impression that they dont care about any cclientsif a department is closed There is no one to serve customers. It might be better to write a card that it is unnecessarily closed. customers waste time.

Crystal at the return desk is a worthless and incredibly rude. She was extremely hard to communicate with and had to pass our return to the manager, George, who was also completely useless. They pretty much didnt want to deal with our return

Very, very friendly helpful staff. Gave us helpful information on using lawn fertilizer when we hadnt even asked but are glad we were informed. I felt like I was the only person there being treated like a queen

Went there early on a Saturday and needed some help about a storage rack that was too high up for me to grab. I asked 2 different employees for help and they both called for help on their radios and no one ever showed up at the isle I was at. Ended up just grabbing another rack that was closer. When I went to pay, one of those employees saw me and didnt bother to ask me if someone showed up or how it went. I was one of maybe 3 costumers that morning I should have had no problem getting some help.

Its Lowes. Why 3* and not 5*. Staff, staff Gould have been more helpful and almost rude. I was not in the mood to fight over a sale and price correction. They need to remember the customer is not a bother, they are their Job

Was able to use the pickup lockers just inside the front door. Super easy! Just scanned the pickup barcode from the Lowes app on my phone, the locker popped open, I grabbed my stuff, closed the door, and I was on my way. So much easier than the pickup lockers at home depot, why should I have to key in anything at all? Lowes gets it and did a great job!!!

Hit or miss. Pickup orders are sometimes a breeze, but if youre ordering anything lumber? Oh my god this place will test your mental health ALOT! If youre ordering lumber, do yourself a favor and just go yourself and choose your own selection. Otherwise, everything else is fine.

Worst customer service Ive experienced in awhile. Went there to help with a tool to remove my shower head. Walked around the store for over 10 mins and new associates in sight to ask. Picked out a tool I thought would help. Tried it that night and it didnt work. Came back the next day to ask for help. No one available yet again. I went to the paint counter and the guys said he didnt know how to help but paged someone to come met me by the tool area. I waited there for 10 mins and no one came. The time standing there there were associates standing by the break area chatting and making eye contact with me but didnt make one attempt to come over and ask i needed anything. So I went to return the tool figuring get my money back and spend it else were. There had to be 8 people in line and one person at the counter. I waited 15 mins and they were still helping the same person. I finally left and came back a few days later returned the tool and promised to never come back again

The workers are excellent and made it really easy to find what I needed. I was only looking for an odd replacement bolt for a cat play item. Helped me for 10 minutes for a total sale of 1.87. Amazing Customer Service!!

I saw a security latch online that I thought would be effective at containing my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter in the house. I went to the store in Arlington Heights to take a closer look but I could not find it among the door locks. A lovely female employee approached me and asked if I needed help or if if I was able to find what I was looking for. I explained what it was and we looked together but still not finding the $3 item. With that, she got her phone and looked up the item and was able to find it in the next aisle. I never would have looked in the next aisle and would have left empty handed if it were not for her. Her name was Thaigh, or Thay, or Thae. Who ever she was, she was like a refreshing breeze which had made my home a bit more secure and further ensures the safety of my little love nugget. I hope she is acknowledged for her supreme attention to customer needs in such a thoughtful and touching manner.

Not worth going here. The manager Mike Russo was unprofessional, degrading, and didn’t handle the situation in a professional manner at all. Not to mention after the initial confrontation with him, I later over heard him bad mouthing me to another employee. Wouldn’t go bad sad place to shop at with this kind of poor management in charge. He clearly needs a new job elsewhere.

I had a problem with a very important snow shovel missing the most important part the (galvanized steel wear strip)....It clearly was a manufacturers defect as it is marketed as a long lasting no stick graphite blade that can remove snow and ice down to the concrete....Roger, one of the managers in Arlington Heights Lowes, replaced it with a new one and I cant thank him enough!

Do not shop at this Lowes Store # 2529 location!!! I went to this store to have my storm door lock re-key. None of the associates working in hardware didnt know how to re-key a lock except for one person. I patiently waited for the associate Jeff to have my lock re-key. Finally 10 minutes later Jeff finally assisted me. Before I can give Jeff the lock to look at he instantly told me that they only re-key locks that are purchase in store. Then I told him that the lock is similar to the brand Schlage in which lowes sells. Now my frustration is a customer will never have a receipt to prove which store they purchase a lock from especially if they moved into a new home. He offered to go to Ace hardware or locksmith because he didnt want to deal with re-keying my lock.I called to speak to their store manager and the phone never connected to a manager and hung up the call. Dont offer service that the store cant commit to!

Extremely poor customer service. I don’t shop at Lowe’s often because it’s so far away for me but now I will definitely stay away from their online store as well.Only 1 of 3 return registers were busy when it was my turn, but the two associates were talking so it took a couple minutes for me to get called up. Once I was called up, I wasn’t allowed to return my online purchase (even though the only option offered was a store return and I am pregnant and hadn’t left my house). When I shared this, Sal didn’t believe that I had been quarantining mad kept questioning if I actually had remained home, and did not help me return the item.I talked to the associate manager and although the was kinder she was unable to offer any help. BEWARE OF SHOPPING AT LOWES BOTH IN STORE AND ONLINE DURING A PANDEMIC. They are not making any adjustments or changes to support their customers.

A bit pricey but convenient location. I looked for rubber liner this morning at Menards and Home Depot. None had it! Finally I found it here.

Arrived at this Lowes on a Thursday evening to place an order for granite that I had already selected. I was told no one could place my order because no one was scheduled to work in the kitchens department in the evening and I would have to make an appointment. I went to the manager, (Dieter) who was at customer service, to express my dismay. He saw me standing in front of him but totally ignored me for the 7 minutes I stood there. It would have been fine if he had acknowledged my presence and said Ill be with you as soon as i finish what Im doing, but he did not. I finally just left the store. Believe me, my husband and I will never return to this store. Much better service at Home Depot..

Not a great selection, okay service, okay prices. I usually come away disappointed ☹️

They’re very helpful if you want to buy a product but their “customer service” desk leaves much to be desired. We bought a carpet cleaner with an extended warranty a few months back but I didn’t save the box. Even though for the customer next to me they looked up the purchase with his credit card, for me they wouldn’t do it. When I asked for the manager, apparently I was too demanding so the guy, Bruce, said normally they would help but not for me. I always bought from Lowe’s but not any more. If they can’t train their employees to assist their customers and act in a polite manner, they don’t deserve my business. Nor do they deserve yours!

I was in line behind 3 people at the self check out. When I got to the front of the line there was a man waiting as if he’d come in from the other side. I figured there must have been two lines, so I went when a register on my side opened up. The man scolded me saying “there’s one line!” I apologized and said he could go ahead of me, but he went to a different register that opened up right after he scolded me. As I was leaving the employee staffing the registers said “just cutting in line...” to me in a disparaging manner. I told him it was an accident, and asked what more he wanted me to do... employee just shrugged. Really unpleasant experience :(

I do not recommend using the curbside pickup option. My experience was poor. I’m sure others have had good experiences, but the customer service displayed during my pickup prevents me from recommending this. I arrived for my pickup and called as instructed. After 15 minutes (was told 5), a guy wheels a cart out with my edging bricks. Except they were the incorrect ones. I told him so, and he said it was my problem and I had to go inside to customer service to deal with it. Isn’t the point of curbside pickup so I don’t have to go in the crowded store? He didn’t seem to care. After another wait at customer service, the woman there acknowledged the bricks are the incorrect ones, but then says I have to go back to get the correct ones. There are 2 of the pickup crew standing right there, yet force the customer to go get them. All in all, I could have saved 30 minutes if I had just walked in to buy the bricks on my own. It was a slow, terrible experience, and no one seemed to really care.

I always enjoy shopping at Lowes. Very clean store well organized and very friendly staff.

They are currently under spot renovations but the staff was very helpful in ensuring me that l got all that l needed..lvan and Tess were very good...Tess was extremely knowledgeable with all matters lighting including bulbs filials and lamp shades.

I exchanged plumbing parts and looked for a faucet replacement part that I couldnt find.

Theres a lovely female vet store associate that was very friendly and helpful. Good selection.

The most inconvenient experience with them, I made a special order and received the email indicating my item is ready for pick up. The email required me to bring and ID card and asked nothing about the credit card. But at the store they didn’t give me my order even when my name was in the package and I had my driver’s license handy. Asked for the manager and even he wasn’t reasonable enough to accept the email did not require to bring my credit card with me. I had the credit card number on my phone app but no!! Even this would not work! Nobody has time to waist like this!

Maybe it was the time of day (about 08:30), but I had many associates ask if they could help. And they had the answers!

Trying to buy a couple of light bulbs was a nightmare. The electrical aisle helper named Ron was rude, didnt know were products were located and called light fixtures bulb inclosuresTelling me to figure out what kind of bulb inclosure I had on my porch. I informed him Lowes catalog references light fixtures not bulb inclosurers, he walked away.

Comfortable, clean and safe store. Staff very helpful to answer questions and help with checkout.

I ordered a new whirlpool refrigerator and when they delivered it, they ended up damaging my front door, putting a dent in my trim, scuffing my walls and then taking my solar panel light which they knocked down that I all have on camera. After installing the fridge, I noticed a dent and called to complain. They advised they would deliver a new fridge and find the solar panel light that the delivery guys took. So the next weekend, the new fridge was delivered only to be in worse shape than the 1st one. Then when they delivered the solar panel light, it was destroyed. Completely bent and broken. I refused delivery and the 2nd fridge, called Lowe’s to inform them of the incident and have yet to get a call back. Over a week of me calling for an update, no one will return my calls. Very disappointed in the service and how much damage was caused with the delivery.

I met Cristina who not only provided a great customer service but also went above and beyond to get me what I was looking for. She assisted me the whole way starting at the isle, through the check out and until I was out of the door. Uriel, who was helping Cristina showed great team member skills as well. Thanks guys!

If i could give them 0 stars i would. Let me tell you our story. We originally went to Lowes to purchase my parents appliances. We purchased a stove, microwave & fridge. The price at Lowes was about $5000 for the whole set, so we settled right then and there to buy it. Delivery day came around and the delivery guys that Lowes sent were from JB Hunt ... THE GUYS REFUSED TO BRING UP THE FRIDGE. They said it was to wide and they wont do it and took the fridge back on their truck. I was surprised i didnt think a company could do that considering WE paid for it and according to the Lowes shipping manager they were allowed to take the fridge back. The delivery guys excuse was that “we didnt sign for it”. The kicker of it all is that we paid Lowes $60 extra bucks to take our old appliances and recycle them.. and before they brought up the stove we bought they took down our old one and put it in the truck.. they drove off with our old stove and our new fridge that they refused to bring up to our SECOND floor apartment. So i fought with Lowes to get my old stove back and ended up returning everything. The next day we went to ABT ordered the same set for a CHEAPER price, a whole $1000 cheaper for the SAME appliances. The delivery was today 10/31/2020 - the delivery guys were AMAZING! They brought up ALL of the appliances INCLUDING the fridge WITHOUT a SINGLE hesitation and they were the sweetest delivery guys i’ve met & very patient! ABT truly came to the rescue & I will ONLY purchase from ABT moving forward! LOWES AND JB HUNT SHAME ON YOU FOR THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. We will NEVER buy from LOWES ever again!
