We used this storage facility during our recent remodeling. It was a great place to use. Always clean and accessible. Temperature control worked well as it was always comfortable in the space. I leased using the online app which was super easy and the staff, especially the assistant manager, was always very helpful.

Raquel brings life and light to the Life Storage location in Arlington Heights. She will go out of her way to make sure you understand the policies of the company and what you will be receiving before you sign anything. That’s a major plus! Im looking for some temporary storage while I remodel and have researched several of the self-storage places in the area. This place is right across Rand Rd from Target. I was impressed with the place as soon as I pulled up and saw a Life Storage truck in the parking lot that they rent. Then I walked inside and met Paul Quiba. He was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, low-pressure and very professional.I learned LIfe Storage tries to make itself a one-stop shop. If you need boxes or packing materials, theyve got them. Need a rental vehicle to bring your boxes to the place, theyve got it. Want outside garages or inside temperature controlled storage, theyve got it. Do you want high security with restrictive codes limiting the access others have to the floor your stuff is on, theyve got it. You can tell theyve thought through the needs of their customers and have created a business to serve those needs.One other nice aspect of this place is their prices are low AND they give you more for your money than other places that offer less amenities. And after you become a customer, they discount the supplies and truck rental to help you get started. I am very impressed by this place.

He was very patient & made sure to explain small details that are important. Very clean, moth problem quickly taken care of. Great climate control facility with large elevators. Large loading area doors allow big trucks to move with ease. Parking lot around the loading doors is a little tight but all-in-all a great place to store your belongings

Rachel was an unbelievable help, she’s got a great personality and is pleasant to deal with. The company isn’t terrible but I do not like how they don’t remind you til your late on your payment and charge too much of a late fee

OVERPRICED and VERY inconvenient/impractical set up. It is nearly impossible to use the storage area when multiple people are there. Once the entrance location is packed with cars - which seems to be all the time - you cannot use the storage to move things in, unless you park outside and punch in the code twice to get in the building and to get in the storage area. Lugging things in and out of the building during winter time (which I had to do on multiple occasions due to overcrowding) and having to punch in the code multiple times is not worth it. Not to mention that you cannot use the unit past 10 pm, so avoiding the crowds is nearly impossible. The parking outside is tight and if you need to turn left on Rand Rd. is nearly impossible due to incoming traffic. I always ended up turning right on Rand and doing a U-turn down the road. Also, if you dont cancel right before the end of month they will charge you for the entire next month, even if you end up cancelling on the 1st of the month. And last, they will charge for the insurance close to $20 if you use the free cargo van service and will expect a receipt for gas, regardless of the distance. I lived across the street so when I used the van they made me go to the gas station to fill for $1-2 just so they had the receipt .... the gas station was further from the place than my apartment, which was stupidest most pointless thing Ive had to do! Considering everything, in my opinion - speaking from personal experience - this place is a total rip off! I would not recommend it.

We needed to move some things temporarily into storage for a home construction project. We we walked in and were immediately greeted by Paul who patiently walked us through everything from picking the right side unit to how to use the facility. Life storage was clean and designed with the customer in mind. We couldnt have been more pleased. Thanks Paul!

We used storage services after a very long time. We were pleasantly surprise with our experience when we checked in our things at Life-storage in Arlington Heights. We were impressed with the modern and very convenient facility with very helpful staff. Paul checked us in and walked us throughly through all the steps of storing our stuff from the main entry, elevators, all the way to our storage unit. Paul was very detailed oriented and answered every question that we threw his way.We were so impressed not only with the facility but also with the customer service that we are contemplating keeping our storage unit for much longer than our original plan of a month.

Paul was very helpful and was able to handle multiple customers at the same time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in and out in 20 minutes and were able to use their free moving van - which made it super easy to quickly move our things into our new unit.

Paul made details so easy for me to remember. It has been a long time since we needed the services of a storage unit. He gave us easy to remember tips on how to get in and out of the building. And the building is clean, with no smells or odors. I also like the extra benefit of hand carts for our use when taking boxes from our car up to our unit. To me, it looks like they thought of everything possible to make needing a storage unit very easy.

This place is always clean and the staff is amazing and courteous. Ive walked in to rent a unit and set up a rental for another unit online because of how great this place is. Highly recommend for a simple, clean place to store your extra items.

Based experience, rep didn’t seen like he wanted to assist my girlfriend and I. He seemed bothered that we were then and gave very little information. I did explain that I’m very familiar with the process and that because I worked for another Sotrage company but that does not mean I don’t deserve too notch service as well. Because if this experience I rented from another facility.

New ownership is awesome! I was sharing a locker and needed my own. I already knew the facility pretty well but he explained everything very nicely as if I didn’t know my way around. Cool guy!

I spoke with Paul and he was very good at showing me facility and explaining how to use access code. He also shared with me all the moving products available. I am disappointed that there is no type of security after hours. I know there are cameras on premises but that does not help after closing.

The customer service I received was some of the best I have had in any establishment. This was my first time renting space, and Raquele walked me through the whole thing patiently. I left feeling very confident. The facility is also clean and well run.

Overall a nice clean place. One of the best features is the convenience of the covered unloading areas that protects you from inclement weather. However, the front door has been broken for sometime now. You have park your car, open up the back door then walk back to your car, hoping the door won’t automatically shut on. Not convenient at all. I hope this is not an indicator of how it will be run as the facility ages.

We have had our storage here for longer than a year. My husband and I would like to thank Nicole Smith for always being there when we have needed her. There are some customers that do not follow the rules and she has always made sure its taken care of. She always has a smile and is courteous to us at all times. We have recommended Life Storage to our friends and family due to the cleanliness of this place!

Bait and Switch. Leased a 10×10 unit for $50 a month. Six months later went up to $70, a year later they raised to $90. Thats nearly double my rate! I like the facility but the rate increases are excessive and a RIP off. They should honor their price and fairly apply any increases. If you need space for more than 6 months stay away.

Place always clean and staff friendly. Special thanks to Paul, whos keen eye can always tell when I have improperly secured my unit. ( Ive done this more than once) He calls to let me know, so that I can come and get it secured. I feel my stuff is very safe here.

This is a brand new storage location, It has a huge drive in loading bay. Its very clean. The store manager Nicole is very pleasant to deal with, she gave me and my wife step by step instructions on how to use the property. Here is something you wouldnt typically expect from a storage rental facility: excellent customer service. Ive had some less than spectacular experiences with rental facilities in the past. Its great to see LifeStorage shatter the old business model with sparkling clean, modern facilities, and friendly, professional, and dedicated service. I especially appreciated the fact that both Manager Nicole and Assistant Manager Mark at Arlington Heights new location went out of their way to accommodate us, and follow up with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

I was under a difficult situation, needing to move within a days notice for things out of my control. Sean and Paul made me feel welcome and gave me the best option for my situation I appreciated the way they handled themselves. I would recommend if you need a storage in this area to bring your business here.
