Yesterday my daughter who will be attending Humboldt and I arrived at the Redwoods airport. I thought my rental car from Enterprise was scheduled to be picked up from the airport. Spoke to Cameron the Assistant Manager at Enterprise at the airport and was told the pick-up is in Eureka, he didnt have any cars available there and that theres no shuttle service to pick us up from the airport. After calling all of the cab services and not finding one Lyft or Uber driver we realized we were stranded While sitting inside and trying to make calls again Cameron the assistant manager approached me. He offered to drive us to the Enterprise in Eureka if we felt comfortable enough to go with him. We accepted the ride and talked to Cameron the entire way. We all shared we were from Sothern California and discussed life in Humboldt county.I just want to say that Cameron is awesome and showed great customer service. Thank you Cameron!

Second time Ive rented from here.. (well one return )Aaron was very professional he got me the car I needed and worked with me.. I travel for a living so i use a lot of car rentals.. some people just dont wanna work with you.. Aaron was very good at his job.. will continue to rent from them.

Be aware, the reservation team does not necessarily know what hours of operations are. Seems to be lack of administration management and communications.We reserved a car for 6 PM o 01/21/19, and the office closes at 530 PM. We had a doctors appt at UCSF is the morning, and were relying on a rental for transportation. When we arrived at 6 PM, there was no one there. Phone calls to the company, customer service solution was to file a complaint... Filing a complaint does not resolve the issue and get us down to the city for a medical appointment!Really, if we had gotten a phone call (AS THE PHONE # IS PROVIDED upon registration), please come to the office at 5pm to get your car, because WE CLOSE at 530. No problem!It was a stroke of luck that a wonderful young man appeared after hours around 630 PM to check inventory. He graciously took hold of the situation and rented us the car. Sigh, relief. The stars are for you!I have only previously experienced rental from the Eureka facility that was spot on.Bottom line is pick up early! 👼

Booked my car reservations six weeks in advance. We arrived at the airport and called the Enterprise Office. Waited for 20 minutes to get picked up. We rode the shuttle to the office for another 20 minutes. Ive now been at their office waiting for my car for an hour and its STILL NOT HERE! Im incredulous and deeply disappointed. Should have paid another $25 and got a car at the Arcata airport. Never again with these folks at this location.UPDATE: The young woman at the counter (Anna) was exceptionally kind and professional. Clearly the ongoing delays were not her fault. Although she tried her very best, she was unable to overcome what appeared to be the lack of support staff. When I returned my car for days later, she warmly apologized again, having remembered me from the initial check out the car. While I sincerely appreciated her professionalism and kindness, it is rather clear to me that this dealership has some administrative problems.

Always helpful. Good rates and safe cars to drive. Its a lot less hectic and more organized than the Eureka Enterprise.

*** Updated Review - How do you go from 2 stars and the review below to 4 stars and what Im about to write? The answer is you have someone like Matt. I explained my situation, he listened, took notes, and called me back after his business hours concluded - he left a voicemail. I called back just a moment ago and Matt explained where the reservation went wrong (an incorrect discount code) and then stated the steps he was going to take to rectify the matter. His professionalism, courtesy, accountability, and demonstrated willingness to put in extra effort blew me away. Whats right is right .... at first, this was a negative experience, I now consider to this be an exceptional example of customer service. Cheers & Kudos Matt. ***1) I didnt get the deal that I booked, that tripled the price of the rental - had I known ahead then Id have made different arrangements ....2) Will hooked me up with a Dodge Charger. It was dirty, beaten up, and not the Nissan with good gas mileage. Good for him, I drove it back to SFO, sucked for me cause I needed to get to SFO and the booked price changed on the spot.3) This is how locals in Arcata treat folks coming off the hills/mountain. I didnt appreciate the stereotyping.4) I have a job, I travel often, and this Enterprise isnt business class - worst rental experience Ive had with Enterprise, Hertz, etc.

Went in to the store after waiting for 20 minutes for a ride. Anna was to busy with some ben co worker guy. They even kissed in front of us before helping us after being in the rain freezing. Worst place ive ever been.

Helpful staff with cars preheated on a frosty morning. The only thing I had to figure out was turning off the seat warmer
