Well, they open on Saturdays, which is a plus right now since some shops have decided to close that day due to the pandemic. I really needed a patch, so I was super grateful that not only were they open, they were so close that it took probably two minutes from my house to get there.Theyre located at Westfield Santa Anita mall, on the opposite side of The Cheesecake Factory. No appointment needed, I just came in after I gave them a call. The guy manning the front desk was awesome, super friendly and communicative. He told me that it would be a flat $25 if the tire was patchable.There were other customers ahead of me, so there was going to be a little bit of a wait. So the front desk guy told me to help myself to the complimentary refreshments and snacks they had available. I dont know why I didnt take any photos but wow-- they had a rack full of chips and things to munch on as well as a Keurig, so many pod choices in addition to green tea bags, instant Vietnamese coffee (I think? Cant recall exactly now), different creamers and all kinds of sweeteners, including honey sticks. Seriously, blown away by the thoughtfulness of the customer service.The waiting area was modernly decorated with large enough to socially distance, the seating accommodations were all comfortable and there was a huge flat panel television with the documentary, The Social Dilemma playing. In other words, I was kosher as I waited for my tire to get done.Im not hoping I need another patch anytime soon but if I do, you can bet Im going to come here again. I highly recommend this Mechanic Shop and let me share why. I was visiting family and my sister needed service on her vehicle and we had a “Family Mechanic”. I deliberately put that is quotations. I had never met this so called family mechanic and spoke to him briefly on the phone to schedule an appointment while I was in town helping my sister and he was rude and high priced. I immediately googled local mechanic shops and found this gem! John answered the phone and he was so kind, courteous and genuine and fair. I instantly knew I wanted to work with him. I like to reward my business to people who stand for something and understand at the end of the day it’s not a transaction but we are all people and humans. John got us in ASAP literally got off the phone drove there in 5 minutes and was assisted on the spot and had the car ready in no time. He made a connection and built rapport and cared for my family which means everything to me in life. John was so flexible and easy to work with and positive! He even let me know they had checked and made sure other items were up to par and really went above and beyond as if his own sister was picking up the car and he wanted her to be safe and taken care of. There are a few places like Dr.’s, Dentists and Mechanics that you need to be able to trust the place you do business with and here is where you can say you have a true Family Mechanic that sincerely cares and does the right thing everytime. This is my go to shop for oil change because it is conveniently located in the mall. They always do a good job inspecting my car while changing the oil. They just transitioned to a new owner, but same great service.

I had tried this place a few years ago and was not satisfied... But I heard there was new ownership so I thought I would give it another try because of the convenient location. Im glad I did because the new owner was very nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions honestly (which a lot of shops wont do) and did not try to rip me off. My car was fixed while I shopped in the mall next door - easy and painless. Definitely would come back.

Went to visit a friend at the mall and saw this spot. I was in desperate need of getting an oil/filter change and when we decided to go watch a movie, I figured why not get all the work done while we were inside. Saw the yelp reviews, so I was a little hesitant- but the price was good, location was convenient and the guy in the front made me feel very comfortable. Got my car worked on and it was ready and waiting by the time I walked out of the theaters.I dont live anywhere near the area, but I wish my local mall/theatre had a convenient car service spot located near by!

My female client came in for an oil change and was told that she needed a gas filter as well. She was quoted $20 for the part. What she was not told that there were labor charges to install the part which added significantly to the part. Little did Purrfect know that their client works on the air with a major radio station in Los Angeles. Purrfect Auto is getting serious bad press for inadvertently not telling the entire truth and quote the entire price. It is not that this lady is defenseless, but I believe that she was taken advantage of simply and purely because she was female. That, by the way, is what she is telling her listening audience as well.

This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Great prices, honest, and fast! They fixed my ac in the middle of summer and with most places that would cost an arm and a leg but not here. They had my car back to me in 30 mins ac ice cold! After that visit I brought in two other cars both with reoccurring ac problems, no other mechanic could figure out why the ac in these cars kept breaking. Purrfect Auto got to the heart of the problem in no time at all, were clear in their explanation, and beat all the other mechanics prices. Sounds too good to be true I know but all 3 cars have been working wonderfully for the past 9 months! Absolutely no problems at all!

Theyll cook up any cock and bull fabrication to scare the owner into believing that the minute they drive out of the shop the cars gonna fall apart if you dont buy into what they say. Avoid it at all cost. Dont fall into the trap.

Ive been going for years and then I stopped after being cheated ...I heard that they had gotten new management and it was local to my house so I gave it another try and u was disappointed once again. I paid for two oil changes in for my car and another for my ladies car and neither of the two received the oil change I paid for.... Im not wasting my time any more

Went into this place after having my side mirror broken by a biker. I was very upset and frustrated with the situation. Surprisingly, the price was very reasonable and they got the car back to me fast. They also did a great job and I will definately be coming here again with any future auto problems.

Im adding my Yelp review here on Google Local Guides because I spoke to a friend who had a bad experience here recently--I said, Why would you go there, it has consistent 1-star reviews. She told me it was a 3.5 (she thought: good enough when you just need a few things checked out). Come to find out on Yelp all of the 1-star reviews are suppressed due to their algorithm...and possibly its because of so many first-time Yelpers being moved to give this place a review.AVOID THIS LOCATION.Really wish that I had visited Yelp (edit: and read even the non-recommended posts) before going into this place! My boyfriend had been needing to get an oil change for his car, and while he has a place he likes near his house and I know a few spots near mine, we happened to be near the mall and this just seemed so convenient!So very wrong--stick to who you know, people! Oil changes take 20 to 30 minutes at the most. Even then, I feel like we were pretty patient, not grumbling about it too much, even though we had somewhere to go. They gave a 30-minute estimate for time and it took them over 50 minutes. The mechanic even gave some attitude when my boyfriend was surprised that it wasnt ready when we got back from killing time at the mall. Seriously? Get over yourself. The guy at the front was nice enough, a tad curt when explaining the pricing, but I figured it was just a busy day.Fine, they upsell you. Even the dealer and your local mechanic will do that a little. But they push the same transmission fluid crap to every person who walks in there (I know, I overheard the mechanic giving the same scripted line to the people next to us...sounds iffy). At least change it up?Now heres the worst part of this experience: As soon as we got back on the road, it really seemed like something was wrong. In all the oil changes Ive gotten (and the ones my boyfriend has gotten for that car), Ive never experienced such a loud engine afterwards. It revs up really weird now, and my boyfriend has now decided to go to the dealer to check if any harm was done. We wouldnt be thinking any of this if it wasnt such a weird experience and if the place didnt seem so shady. It could be something harmless or something far more serious. If this turns out to be a more serious issue, Ill definitely be reporting this place.I wouldve waited to write this review until he gets the car to the dealer, but I just needed to warn people. I never give one-star reviews to places that at least try to provide quality service and the attitude as well as the time delay are enough to warrant this one-star rating.***I cant believe Im saying this, but seriously... trust your gut--this place SEEMS pretty shady because it IS.***

I have been to this auto repair shop twice and have friends who have gone here a few times. Every time I went to this shop something bad happened to my car. Now I am no car expert but I do know when I am being taken advantage of. I went for a simple tune up on my Infiniti and once I took my car home it had engine problems. The spark plugs were not firing correctly. When I returned it, they kept my car for over 4 hours and still couldnt fix it, instead they proceeded to tell me some other part of the engine was acting up. Needless to say both of my experiences resulted in me going in for one minor problem and them telling there is another problem. So I assumed they were just trying to find something else for me to pay for. Highly disappointed in this auto shop. But I will say if you need someone to look at your car quickly by all means go here, but be prepared for a laundry list of problems

Not honest. I go in for an oil change & they say I need a new axel, I didnt purchase it because I was in a hurry, I had to bring my car back the following day because it was uncontrollably leaking oil (didnt seal up the oil change properly) and another mechanic says oh no, you dont need an axel, however your brakes are bad. If I would have bought the axel the previous day, it would have been a complete WASTE of money $200+ down the drain. What happened to honest mechanics? Dont waste your $$ here

Been to many auto parts in hand and paid for them to fix my car to pass smog and never fixed it but they got down to the problem and they fixed it im very pleased with the customer service they provided Thank you ! Doug and Staff great people!!! If you got issues with the smog this is the place to fix it !!!

Please do not come here. They will use every excuse to get you to pay more. oh that is only available from the dealership or well everyone else has this same problem and they go with this option . They will overcharge you they make up excuses for their ridiculous prices. Just dont.

Overcharged me for a flat tire. Promised it early next day. Just called in the afternoon, they said they dont even have it yet. Never called me. Just not a good place to take your vehicle...

My tire was poked with a screw. What they did was just removed the screw put a rubber cement and put air on the tire without repairing the tire. After a few days, the tire pressure monitoring system light came off again showing the tire was flat again. I will never go back to this shop again.
