Ive had my late mothers belongings here for years.I shouldve known from day 1 that they dont deserve any business. We moved the entirety of our haul into a unit only for them to tell us that they gave us the wrong unit and that we had to move everything. No help. Refused to give a discount for the error.Now they have rodents and bugs. Someone slid a glue trap under the door of my unit and it was stuck to my luggage. Ill attach the picture here. Looks like whatever rodent was stuck to it chewed itself free and left half its body behind.When i notified the front desk over the phone, they just told me theyre sorry and theres nothing they can do.When I went in person to let them know im moving all of my things out, I was told to try and get money back through my insurance, which may or may not work. And they offered me another unit. Uh, no.Note to owners, if youre going to raise the rent every couple of months get rid of your infestation first before claiming to be proud of how clean yall are.

If you value your possessions, DO NOT store them at StorAmerica Aracadia. I lost most of my furniture and belongings due to a MAJOR rat infestation. Nearly everything I had, valued at well over $20,000, was ruined due to rats chewing on furniture and boxes, and leaving feces and urine EVERYWHERE. I even lost my very expensive designer bag. Not to mention the cost to dispose of these items, and sterilize the few items salvageable. There was a family of rats, dead and alive, living in or around my unit. Beyond the frustration and disappointment of losing my belongings, this is absolutely a health hazard and should be taken very seriously.We had insurance through our insurance company, but of course they didnt cover rodent damage. Because, who wouldve thought youd need to protect your items from rats eating through your boxes and contaminating everything. Management did not do much to offer any assistance other than a measly $500 check, which didnt even cover the cost to dispose of the contaminated items. Management will blame the infestation on surrounding units, claiming there may be food in these units. This response only confirms that they know there is an infestation, but continue to rent their units putting people’s hard earned belongings at risk. I think it’s apparent that the “food” was my furniture, boxes, and belongings.If youre thinking of renting a space here, do yourself a favor and run the other direction. One of the most horrible experiences of my life.

Haven’t been using this place long enough to know if they have rat problem or not, but let’s hope not. I’m only going to using this storage for a month.The units themselves are a little old and dirty and the locks don’t latch that well and they are a little rusty, they don’t slide easy. Indoor units are hard to find, have to go through multiple doors. Took me a good 10 minutes to find, no air conditioning so bring some water while your here especially on a hot day there isn’t really much around this place within walking distance.I had drive back one time after leaving I had made it all the way home and they called me saying my latch wasn’t put on properly and I needed to come back to close it.The front desk isn’t really that helpful or accommodating. I bought my unit toward the end of the month the 26th or something like that and then they charged me again for the second month on the first and I didn’t get to use any the rest of the days from the 1st month. I was under the impression when buying the unit those unused days from the 1st month would carry over, but nope kind of screwed me up having a 300$ charge come in unknowingly. Took the last little bit of money I had planned for something else

I hot locked in, i was leaving at 6:44 the time turned to 6:45 as i was putting my code in to exit, abd it gave me the access denied, no late exit. Also the google thing keeps redirecting to self storage place in Oklahoma

So rude asked for the key to unlock the cart so I could use the lady said no because they were closing soon, they still had about 45 mins til the office closed

Great storage facility, conveniently located, safe, secure & reasonably priced. And they even offer a FREE truck & driver to help move your stuff there (3 hour window, 20 mile radius). How cool is that?! Friendly, helpful staff as well. We highly recommend this Arcadia location StorAmerica! .

This place is large; good prices compared to other local storage. They recently upgraded the office service area & have security camera coverage for the entire facility. Staff is great - polite & efficient.

Really enjoy this storage facility. My husband and I have been here for years with no issues. We moved out last year just to find a closer storage, but ended up moving back in about 6 months later. The other place was just too small and pricey even for an upstairs unit and didnt even have a sprinkler system!Liz was very good and accommodating. She helped us to easily move in especially with a nice move-in special. We have a 1st floor unit and its still cheaper than the other storage place that was on the 2nd floor!Its a bit farther out, but I think in the end worth it!Thank you Lizz & Darlene for your help in providing us with another great storage unit.:)

(three stars for communication)I was referred here by a business associate and liked their price. You have to drive a bit more maybe, but worth it.The ladies here are nice, but they have RULES and if you dont like their RULES, then youre out. This is what I was told when I signed up. In fact, I inquired very gently on the walk through, in a calm voice, as to why a certain lock was required (I havent had storage in five years) and I was told matter of factly (in a harsh tone) that if I didnt agree with the lock requirement, I was free to shop around and let them know if I was still interested. I could tell she has had a lot of inquiries like this and was probably ready for a fight. But, I wasnt trying to have a fight. I wanted to know why I had to have a lock that you dont normally see. I looked up the lock on Amazon and it was a buck less than theirs so I bought it here.I have been selling for 25 years and I sell a very serious and complicated product called insurance. If my associates treated my customers like this, I would have a lot of coaching time with them as to how to enforce rules, but also speak in gentle tones and to outline the reason for such rules. After this encounter, I walked into the office to find on the wall three or four nice bullet points of the actual whys related to the lock. I imagine had Liz simply said there are a few reasons... x, y, and z like the poster I would have been satisfied. She would have seemed like she knew her product and service as well. My trust level for her would have sky rocketed. Now, I worry Im always on the line, waiting to be kicked out.Her other focus was that if I were to ever stay late past gate hours, I would be locked in and have to call the cops to get me out after which I would be asked to leave the storage unit as a customer. Wow. Ok. I get it. Homelessness in LA is serious. No boarders. But, again, coaching needed here. I drove up in a 2019 Volvo and presented my platinum Amex. (with which I immediately set up auto-pay) Probably not going to shack up at StorAmerica. I saw by the looks of one tenant giving them gruff, that there are possibly folks here that may not live in standard housing. Thats ok and Im sure it can be a drag to deal with all the time. But, again, learn a bit about your customer before you assume hell break all the rules in two minutes, ESPECIALLY if I was referred to you. You could lose two good clients. You dont know how tight I am with your referral.The price is fair, the place is very clean, and I feel like my things are safe. After our first encounter, Liz and I were able to work together. The free truck is nice and I used it to my benefit. I think Liz and Darlene mean well and care about their jobs and the space, but please... coaching! Gentle. Nice. Smile a lot. Youll find your day will be less stressful. Thank you.

I have a storage space here. Everything inside is so dirty, and full of dust and dirt. The outside of my door is filthy, with dirt. I told the office girl why dont you at least clean the outside of the doors? She said she would talk to the manager about it. Dont store here, Its so filthy Im saddened at the amount of dirt that is all over my boxes, and items. Im going to have to throw away a perfect fine full size mattress set that was ruined. Wish I could give no ☆s.

Fairly reasonable priced compare to other self storage in the area. They at least keep the pricing up front, some places will promise a lower rate, then charge 50% higher claiming they are for insurance. This place is pretty up front. They also offer a free moving truck rental for the day you move. Make sure you reserve few days or weeks in advance as they only have one. The storages are not climate controlled, but its not facing the sun, so it doesnt get very hot.

I must of rented my storage at the perfect time (promotion )10 ×15 cheap..

StorAmerica is the best option when it comes to storing your belongs. Im in the process of moving between houses and Im waiting for the remodeling to be complete before I move all my things in so I needed a storage unit for the meantime. I heard of this affordable option through a friend and since Ive had bad experiences with the other options out there(Public Storage) I decide to give StorAmerica a try. I was surprisingly impressed with the cost and availability of their storage units. Not to mention my sales associate Daniel P. was very knowledgeable, polite and honest. He even talked me out of over spending on a larger unit by showing me several other comparisons. He spent almost an hour with me showing me rental options and even helped me estimate my actual storage needs. I will only do business with StorAmerica in the future be sure to ask for Daniel or Darlene they were great and made the moving process that much easier!

Did all the research and read all the reviews, decided to go with this company, initially the service was great, I called in a day early, scheduled a time to look at units and showed up. Was showed two units, at a promotional price, great so far..secured a unit for my move, I later determined I needed a LARGER unit, called in and spoke to the Rep who was NOT anybody mentioned in the reviews. They refused to honor the price for the promotion on the larger unit. I know, my bad luck right? I should have taken the larger unit when offered, HOWEVER, IF this company offers a price match, and IF they are concerned with customer satisfaction, and IF they prefer I stay instead of leaving after my time paid for is up, (at my expense for the principle of it), then shouldnt the company accommodate my request in stead of LOSING the business outright? NOTE: another option not mentioned anywhere BEFORE renting is that they allow law enforcement to train on the premises and make you sign a waiver to search your unit at anytime. I have nothing to hide in my junk, but it seems to me in this era of violation of privacy issues and government involvement in our lives, I just as soon not have them snooping through my junk at any time for any reason. If I would have known this BEFORE agreeing to the whole process, I would have taken my business elsewhere and avoided this whole mess.

NOT VERY HAPPY! I have been a custoner for aprx. 5 years now and for my dedication as loyal customer they are raising my rent again. This time an additional 20.00 per month. When i started renting here i was told i was getting a 10x10 lockerb, but after a got it i tried putting a 9.5ft long work table i have, but to my surprise it didnt fit by 1 ft. Actual size of the room 8.5x8.5ft. I took the table apart to make it fit. They do have a sign in the front office which makes it okay to false advertise. (Actual size could be different)But now with this rent increase, im going to move. I like this place but not the slaps in the face for loyalty. Only way i would stay now is if they drop my rent to what it was when i moved in and keep it there untill i move out 20 years from now. Or my loyalty will start at a different storage facility.

Dont like the fact that they dont provide a monthly bill. No email alert, no phone call, no warning. If you forget to pay bam outrageous late fees!! You just have to remember to pay.
