Weve been flounder gigging with Capt. Dave about 4 years its always fun and we always bag our limit. This time we took our grandson. He loved it!!! He was great.

Capt Dave did an outstanding job and our 3-man group had an awesome time. The fish were really scattered but Capt Dave worked his but off and we had our limits shortly after midnight. I honestly believe he would have stayed out till surise, if necessary, as going in without a limit is just not in his vocabulary. I highly recommend his service and will gladly give him my business in the future.

Captain Dave is as good as it gets! We had a group of 6 guys out of Fort Worth come down for a Bachelor party trip. I called about a week in advance to see how things were. Captain Dave let me know on the call that we would not get limits. He was very honest and open with the conditions and how the season has been this year.(2018) He had us meet him at the boat ramp at 7:15 pm, although we were early, he was already on his boat ready to go. We got to the starting spot and he gave us the run down of what was gonna happen, as we drank some beer and waited for it to get dark. We stayed out for 8 hours gigging, and finally I called it quits. I still remember Capt asking if I was sure that we wanted to call it. This man is a beast, and lives up to his Company name for sure. All 6 of us got to gig flounder and drum. This was a great experience for sure. I still dont know how he was able to see some of those Flounder, Captain Dave has x ray vision. He will put you on the fish! We ended up with 16 Flounder, and he called that a bad day...Cant wait to come back and do that again, I want to know what a good day is like.

I’ve been on many guided fishing trips (all rod n reel), and this flounder gigging was by far better than any of them. Captain David was really cool and was able to get us a great haul of flounder, drum, and sheepshead. We all limited out on flounder and then went on to target other species. This captain worked his butt off making sure we had a great experience and we really did. Worth every penny! I cannot wait to do it again!

Surrender at sunrise is a great place to go for flounder gigging trips. Captain Dave is the man for the job. Have Lots of fun, learn a lot with what’s under the water and you always get your limit. I have gone four times now and can’t wait for number five.

We have been on multiple trips with Captain David, as well as other flounder Captains in the area. David is, hands down, the absolute best. We have had full limits on every single trip, and our clients that we send with him are always very happy. The few trips Ive been lucky enough to go on were great; David is a patient, polite and funny guy who knows how to give his clients a great experience. He is also hell on flounder. Youll never meet someone that can spot a big flatfish buried under the sand in 2 feet of water on a windy night, except for Captain David. Highly recommended.

First time using Captain David, he was recommended from another fishing guide we use every summer. Our group had 6 people which included my 14 year old daughter and we all had a great time. It was all of ours first time to try gigging and thankfully Captain David had LOTS of patients . He must speak Flounder because even though it was slow at first and we didnt get all of them in the boat we still hit our limit. My brother took me and his family on a flounder gigging trip with Captain Dave. It was my first time and I had a great time. Captain Dave was extremely patient with us that had never done this before. He was very knowledgeable and spotted the flounder immediately. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a flounder gigging trip.

Went out with captain Dave last night. Had an awesome time gigging some flounder! He was kind enough to cater to us even though we called him last minute. We hit our limit quickly. Came home with plenty of fresh fish. We will definitely be back!

Captain Dave is absolutely the best guide Ive ever been on the water with... Weve been 6 or 7 times with him and have never not had a limit... I will promise you that if youre willing to do what it takes to get a limit he will show you what surrender at sunrise means if he has to... He works hard at what he does and hes damn good at it...

Fantastic, went out with Capt Dave and my wife last evening and had a riot . Capt Dave is a great hard working guide and put us right into the fish, we limited out on both flounder and sheepshead and upon our return he cleaned and bagged our catch for the ride home, as a fisherman myself I felt like he took the extra time to ensure a great trip ! Ive know Capt David for 17yrs not only is he a great guide hes also a good friend .I dont know anyone who will work harder to get your limit of fish. And if the fishing is slow and it takes all night he will only surrender at sunrise.
