Seconding the review of my wife, Tammy, the service department at Commercial Motor Company is stellar! When I called in and spoke with Herb, explaining that the front stabilizers on my new/warrantied F350 had gone kaput again (previously fixed under warranty) and that we were on an interstate road trip pulling a 44 toy hauler, leaving for New Orleans in just a few days, he classified this as an emergency and told me to bring it in as soon as I could and theyd get to it as soon as they could, even though they were booked out several days.The first dealer I called before said they were booked out for a week or more and let me go.Jay had it fixed the same day (!) and called to tell me I could pick it up in the morning. The basic fix was warrantied, but he also reduced the labor cost on the Pro stabilizer kit he convinced me was worthwhile.Ive had similar experiences on interstate motorcycle rides, where the shop I had it towed to told me to rent a uHaul and go home, but another non-dealer shop fixed me up and got me back on the road, and didnt even want to charge me! I REALLY appreciate that kind of customer service for travelers in a bind. The kind of service that I got at Commercial.I am a VERY happy customer and just wish I could have all my future work done by this shop in Texas, even though I live in Arizona.

I have two observations from the same visit. One should be 10 stars.1. Yesterday I noticed the keypad on my F150 door was partially detached. It was defective, not break-in damage. I called the Service Department and they told me to bring it in today and they would look at it. My thoughts were they would look at it and I would return at a later date for the replacement. Jay, the Service Rep looked at it and told that they had the part and a tech would be available in a little while to replace it today if I didn’t mind waiting a bit. Doing so saved me a second trip. I appreciate the initiative to show a customer he is valued and the tech taking care of it promptly.2. “10 Stars” I witnessed an employee demonstrate personal concern for another customer. (I think the fact that the gentleman was a customer didn’t matter.) I noticed a gentleman who needed a walker for mobility waiting for his vehicle. Shortly after an F150 was parked near the side door. A tech named Jason then walked into the lounge are and told the gentleman his truck was ready, but to wait for the cashier to call him when the paperwork is processed. After taking care of that, the man went out to his truck. I think Jason was watching for him. Jason came out to the man’s truck. Jason placed the walker where the man wanted it in the bed and then made sure he got into the cab safely. It’s very refreshing to see concern for others demonstrated.

Amazing Customer Service!!!! Seriously puts other dealership experiences to shame! My husband and I were traveling through the area pulling our 5th wheel when we experienced issues with our truck. While calling a couple different places (They basically told us to pound sand, they were too busy) the folks here told us to bring it on in and theyd work it in. This problem has happened before so they recommended an additional stabilizer kit which we decided was a good investment considering the length of our trip and the quote was reasonable. They finished the repair and installation in less than 24 hours AND the final bill was 1/4 of the originally quoted price! Im now wondering if my Triple AAA plus will tow all of my vehicles to this place from AZ!!! Herb, Jay and Team, you guys are amazing!! Thank you!!!

If i could give them 0 stars i would. not only did they not tell me when the part for my car arrived, but when i put my car in their shop at the time they asked me(very early in the morning) they didnt even get to it by the next day. if you promise a customer that their car will get worked on you shouldnt knowingly lie, which is what they had to be doing or why else would it be 2 days later and yet my car isnt being worked on despite them saying if i put it in early theyd get to it that day. the people in the office might be nice and polite but they really need to do something about their mechanic area.

I am in the Rockport area from out of state- approximately 1,000 miles from my residence. I had a boat in tow and was crossing over the Copano Bay Bridge and my truck died on me.I called Commercial Motor Company because of a recommendation from a friend of mine - Commercial Motor Company helped him out of a bind while he was in the area from the Rio Grande Valley area just a few months ago.Even though they had a backlog of work, knowing I was really in a pinch, they took my truck in and were able to get an electrical issue knocked out in just a couple days.As a native Texan, I always brag on the friendliness of folks here. Commercial Motor Company just continued to reinforce that belief. I cant express my gratitude enough.

I am a single woman and I have trust issues. As well, my credit is average. I know very little about the process of getting a new vehicle. Our family has had a connection to the Boehnke family for decades on various levels. My father bought a 1966 Ford Mustang from the founding owner Mr. Boehnke of Commercial Motors. It’s a family-owned business since 1939. For me, all I knew to say to current owner Ronnie Boehnke (the grandson of founding owner) was “I need to trust someone and I know I can trust you.” Ronnie is not only trustworthy, he is honest. He gave me more than I was expecting in a vehicle, he was generous in the amount for my trades, and he was very patient with me. His team was detailed in communicating with me. I never felt overwhelmed. It is more than worth it to make the trip over the bridge to Aransas Pass. I will being coming back when I’m ready to get a vehicle for my daughter. Dropped off my f350 at 7:30 am to get the seat heater replaced ( a warranty issue) and to have my break pads replaced. I was told they would be done before noon. When I checked back at 11 they “ haven’t even looked at it yet”They failed to set a realistic expectation.

Scheduled an oilchange for 10am. Showed up 10 minutes early to assure it came out before I went to work. Took 5 hours till I got my vehicle back. Shouldnt take that long for an oilchange. Especially if you make an appointment.

I did not have a good experience here, I paid an extremely high markup on parts on top of outrageously high labor charge.. there was a couple of things that needed to be fixed and it I chose to have them do the work would they be able to help on the cost and was told no which is fine but I had to call multiple times to get an answer. Additionally they charged me to test drive which I was not informed of and on top of all that they charged me a shop fee for recall work, unbelievable!!! So to summarize I paid almost 2 grand for work, had to keep calling to get updates and questions answered, got nickel and dimed to death.. didn’t even get a courtesy vacuum, windows cleaned nothing.. I think it’s obvious I won’t be back, most business rely on repeat business as I have a business also and no how to treat customers but these guys don’t or maybe they just don’t want my business..it’s unfortunate because I was hoping to find a place to have my vehicle serviced.. the search continues..

I am in Port Aransas for 3 months and had my water pump go out. Being out of state I was worried about the repair. Called around 5 shops and Commercial motor had the most honest price. After the repair was done the price was the same as over the phone. The work was done great in good time. We have a 2017 Lincoln MKX 39k Miles on it seeing as how we live in Portland we were going to start taking it to commercial Ford Lincoln rather make the drive to access Ford Lincoln so I called this morning to let him know about some wind noise Also the screen has been freezing and that we needed several routine non warranty related things taken care of like a mud flap wheel balance possibly alignment full detail inside and out oil change cabin air filter engine air filter ( plenty of money for the dealership to make). Then was informed that an appointment for June 3rd was the first available, I said great will y’all have a loaner available only to be told we don’t have loaner cars i said even for Lincoln customers at all ever what so ever and was told none at all no matter who they are. I was simply shocked I take my car in for an oil change get a loaner or they even come pick it up and drop it off. We are so excited for the new Aviator to come we can hardly contain ourselves. From one phone call we most definitely will be giving our business to a dealership that appreciates their customers who spend the money to be within the brand and give them the treatment that nearly every Lincoln dealership offers. Guy on phone could be a little more polite.

Even with an appointment set, a week ahead, it didnt get the factory recall done. They changed the oil he said. Took it back and asked again to see about my rear brakes, didnt do this either but did get the recall done.Results were the rear brakes and the rotor was damage, over $300 cost.Wish they would of checkrd the brakes.

My husband and I have been purchasing cars and trucks from this dealership for over 25 years. We have tried others and no one has the outstanding service that Commercial Motors provides. Number one reason to shop here is price. Number two is the service department. They perform what work is necessary for a reasonable price and do not try to sell or perform service that is not required. They also have an onsite first class body shop should your vehicle be involved in an accident. No other dealership in the Corpus Christi area offers the level of service provided by Commercial Motors.

I have purchased two vehicles from Commercial Motors and will never go anywhere else. They will work with you on the price of a vehicle and give you the best price. The Staff is friendly every time you walk in the door. The Service Department knows what they are doing and can answer any question you may have and will fix your problem (right) the first time. I have been to other dealers for repairs and had to bring my vehicle back because it was not repaired right. I have never had to return my vehicle to Commercial Motors. I drive over an hour, just to have them work on my vehicle because I dont trust the Dealers around me. I will be in the market for a new vehicle soon and Commercial Motors will be the place I go. This place deserves 10 stars.

This is about the service dept.. We took our 2004 F250 King Ranch by there to get a complete check up before we gave it to our son. We asked that they check the brakes especially because the truck had been in Washington DC for a few years and the salt they put on the road can be pretty corrosive. We picked up the truck with an all clear from the tech. My son rented a trailer to haul his truck back to Austin and on the way the brakes completely failed and actually parts of the brakes fell apart. Now we have no idea if they did any of the work we paid them to do. When we told the service writer he was not at all concerned and was dismissive to us. Its sad when you cannot trust someone to do their job.

They only have one salesman at their used lot and he so busy worrying about the other people walking around he doesn’t even pay attention when you’re actually sitting in front of him and interested in buying a vehicle. Either get the guy some help or get someone who can handle it. He had no interest in working with me to make a deal happen. No effort. Extremely disappointed in this place and the customer service

I bought a 2014 Ford Fusion a few weeks ago. I was so apprehensive because I had gone to other dealerships in the area... I tossed and turned because I needed a new car but I couldnt find any one who I trusted.I got up at 2 am on a Saturday morning to shop on the internet and sent an email to Commercial Ford. By 10:30am, Dennis (AWESOME MAN!!!)contacted me and I went down there that afternoon to see what they had. He gave me his undivided attention. I drove every vehicle I wanted to drive to see the best fit for us. When I decided which car I wanted. He got all the information he needed. Since it was late, I went home andthey were going to contact me Monday.By 8:30 am, Pam Howard (She is AWESOME!!!) gave me a great deal. I didnt have to even negotiate!!!!!. They are so straight forward, honest... so much integrity!!!!!. I told all my family and friends to come to Commercial Ford if they truly want to be treated honestly!!. If you are in the market for a vehicle, do yourself a HUGE favor and go to Commercial Motor Company. After getting treated very poorly from another dealership in Corpus Christi, a friend recommended CMC. I wasn’t expecting much because I figured ever dealership is just the same… big, commercialized, and only concerned about the money they can squeeze out of you… WRONG!!! Great service still exists at CMC!!! My husband and I made the quick drive over to Aransas Pass and Im certain that all of our future purchases will be with them. From the get go, Jay Bowden (sales) and Pam Howard (finance) were awesome! We walked in knowing what type of vehicle we wanted and Jay found us the perfect color that the other dealership didnt even have. Then as we progressed, we were given a higher trade-in value than the other place and Pam even found an extra rebate for us. When we were presented with financing options, there was no haggling... their best options were presented immediately. There was no salesperson running back for secret meetings like they’re trying to help you get the best deal (like youll see at other dealerships). We saved over 2% in interest from the other dealerships best offer. The savings was obviously great and the service was just impeccable. It’s sad that their level of service doesn’t exist in a lot of places anymore, but it’s one of the many reasons we now won’t shop anywhere else. My husband and I both have never EVER had a more enjoyable or stress-free vehicle purchase experience. We were in awe of how flawless everyone’s performance was and just how smooth the whole transaction went. If you want to have the greatest vehicle purchase experience of your life, call Jay Bowden and tell him that you want the Smith family experience. Bought a new Focus SE last week . The place seems to have a relaxed feeling about it .Everyone I dealt with seemed to like working there . I had figured out a price I wanted to pay with trade in ,the night before . Jay and Bill offered me a price that was within $4, of my price . I went home and emptied out my F150 trade in and came back in a couple hours and picked up my new car . Jay gave me a lesson on the Ford Sync and the other controls in the car . Jay Bowden and Pamela Howard provided excellent customer service throughout the buying process.Jay is an excellent and patient Salesman. He took the time to listen to my needs. We started in the used auto area where I described how I wanted a used pickup truck with a towing capacity of 4500-5500 lbs.should I decide to go that route. We looked at several trucks, and Jay even had me test drive a beautiful pickup truck that one of his co-workers was driving. I decided against that one as the mileage was too high.I then asked about deals on new trucks as I am a first time truck owner, and wanted the powder puff/girl version of a pickup truck. Jay steered me towards a beautiful gunmetal gray truck, a 2013 Ford F150 pickup that had only 48 miles on it. I am happy to say I absolutely love my truck.Jay took the time to show me all of the features, and patiently helped me set up my seat, showed me all of the controls, etc. I was totally hooked on the truck by the time I drove it a bit too carefully around Aransas Pass for 15 minutes.In addition, Jay made excellent suggestions as to what add-ons I wanted for the truck including a bedliner, bed cover, side step rails, and seat covers. Being a woman, I wanted something that would take me from flip flops to high heels and to be able to safely get in and out of the vehicle without falling.Jay, you did a great job and I wish you all of the success that you deserve.==============Pamela Howard also provided excellent customer service in the Finance Department. She told me about all of my finance options such as paying cash vs. financing for several months to several years. She offered great suggestions on how to accrue points on my credit cards when putting down a deposit. And finally, she offered me some truly enticing extended warranties.I called Pam numerous times over the next 5 days and asked her a zillion questions. She was patient and extremely helpful each time I called. I even changed my mind several times, and then couldnt find my car title. Pam pointed me in the right direction and I headed to Corpus Christi to get my car title for my trade-in. What could have been a car title nightmare was headed off and solved within a a few hours.Both Jay and Pam are quality people. And Pam (and Jay, Ill offer it up to you as well), should you ever need help with your volunteer activities, just give me a call and Ill be there to help.

An Adrenalin is a limited edition Sport Trac with special trim and performance package which were only produced from 2008 to 2010.Ronnie Boehnke helped me find my special Adrenalin after a long search, purchased the Adrenalin for me from a dealer in Michigan, and arranged the transport to Commercial Motors. Ronnie inspected it thoroughly upon arrival and made a list for my inspection. When I arrived for my inspection, Bill Dorris walked me through the check list in detail and any maintenance items I wished done before the day I was to pick up my Adrenalin. In a couple of days Commercial Motors had the Adrenalin prepared absolutely beautifully for me! It could not be distinguished from a brand new truck fresh off the assembly line.Pamela Howard was very helpful and cordial during the signing process. Pamela thoroughly explained all of the financing options and extended warranty plans for me and made recommendations based on my specific vehicle. Pamela arranged excellent financing terms (thanks Pam!), a very nicely priced extended warranty, and a comprehensive road hazard warranty for me. I’m covered bumper to bumper for 5 years now thanks to Pamela!Dell Franks was very kind to teach me the Sync and Navigation system functions including the voice commands, all of which I was totally unfamiliar. Dell is quite the expert to say the least. She linked my cell phone for me and explained how all the menu functions worked. After a thorough explanation of how a menu function worked, Dell then stepped me through the same process to help me learn the system hands on. Dell was not only very knowledgeable, but very friendly and always smiling and helpful. Ronnie also stayed late to help explain all of the new accessories and controls I was unfamiliar with.I purchased my first Sport Trac from Commercial Motors years ago, and now my second one as well with which I am beyond excited about! It really is the truck of my dreams thanks to Commercial Motors! My sister also has a Ford truck purchased from Commercial Motors where we both take our trucks for maintenance. I’m very pleased with all the help I received from Pamela, Dell, Ronnie, Bill, and from Commercial Motors with my Adrenalin from start to finish. I’ve been a customer with Commercial Motors for many years and will certainly continue to be a customer in the future as well.

I was just going to do some shopping around and wasnt going to buy right than and there. All I knew was that I was going to choose between a Camry and a Fusion. As soon as I walked in everybody greeted me nicely and got me to a salesman right away. Well Sales woman. Dell was AMAZING! She helped me figure out that the Fusion was the right car for me! The Proccess was fast and done very quickly so I was able to drive off in my New White 2013 Ford Fusion. Everyone there was helpful and answered all my quesions. Thank you Dell and employees at Commercial for making this experience painless!!! I will Defentily be recommending this dealership to my friends and family and whoever else ask!!
