I do workshops nationally, my computer went down on a Friday before I had to leave for a large workshop. Erich, at Aptos Computer Services, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a fully functional computer. He was professional, helpful, and very reasonable in what he charged me. Warning! Avoid this business. Because I like to support local business, I rarely give a bad review but I feel obligated to warn others. At every step, these people were unprofessional, rude, and didnt even write down what I wanted fixed in my computer. I was charged 150.00 for installing this funky anti-virus which they said cleaned up the viruses and when I asked if my main issue was fixed, they looked blank and then accused me of not asking them to fix that...Huh??? Then they said after I paid them 150.00 that they couldnt fix that and I should call Microsoft. Also, they claim on recording to be practicing safety but they werent even wearing masks. Watch out!

I was recently the victim of one of those unwanted Windows 10 updates you get without warning that killed my computer’s functionality not being able to turn it off, lost all my application programs ect.I had the good fortune to come into Aptos Computer Services and met Erich, and despite it being a holiday weekend, Erich really went the extra mile to get me back up and working again as an Internet Consultant.I told him before he got started I don’t have a clue how anyone gives estimates in his line of work, because everyone knows its really hard to tell if a problem is going to take ten minutes or ten hours until you get into it and fully diagnose the scope of the problem. And he stuck with me to the end over a long holiday weekend cleaning up a few residual problems that still surfaced after I got home.
