Good selection and affordable products. But not much if your looking for higher end or higher quality products compared to some other stores.

Paid an extra 86 dollars for delivery of a shower. Ordered online received email confirmation. Order was paid, processed and ready to deliver. Waited 10 days then contacted customer service. They told me tocall Appleton West store. Called and spoke with Julie M. She was very rude and told me She sent an email and called on August 24. NO not true. She then this is my fault it took so long and she did not like my tone of voice. Really Who is the customer who has been waiting over12 days now After paying for delivery .Never Again. Thanks to Julie who ruined it for Menards! Wow

I find it disrespectful that Menards is the only big home improvement store that DOESNT give Military Veterans a 10% discount for their service. If not for the past, present and future Veterans fighting & losing their lives for our Freedom there would be no Menards or other stores. They gave us our freedom. Boycott Menards. Shop at Home Depot and Lowes. Cashiers are not friendly and to find a customer service representative to help you is non-existent

Great selection of products. I like shipping there because can find almost anything I need.... However, asking the staff to assist or getting an advice is pain. Sometimes, I get the feeling they just hate being bothered. I do not blame the workers but the management. To me, it seems the staff is stressed and underpaid. Unfortunately, that brings a unpleasant experience. I dont want to feel guilty because of asking a question as a customer. I prefer going to Home Depot. Yes, less selection but always ready to help. I wish Manards did something to improve their service.

It’s a great place with most things. Hard to find where things within the store are located sometimes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a staff member to help you find something. The rebate program is honestly just a hassle. When everything else seems 11% more expensive are you really getting an 11% rebate?

Great experience today. Stock of deck boxes all gone on the floor. Team member Justin from another department stopped what he was doing to check stock and found four on the mezzanine. He contacted person from correct department who got the box for us. Both young guys were very pleasant and helpful. Thanks Menards team.

Why would I want to become a dedicated Menards customer when Lowes and Home Depot both offer me a 10% veterans discount 24/7/ 365 days a year? Menards gives an 11% discount every once in a while all you have to do is mail in your receipt and wait 6-8 weeks to receive what, 11% off more of their products?Also, every time I go there everyone (except a few) that works there gives me the feeling that Im asking too much when I ask for help.

We will never shop here again, or any menards for that matter.We purchased a brand new $500 push mower. Get it home and setup, add gas and oil (because how else are you to start a lawn mower right?). Will not turn over, turns out the blade is hitting the deck and taking the metal off of it. So we take it back to menards. They will not accept returns as we put gas in it. Hmm, ok wasn’t awear that we needed to flip the mower over to check the blade on a brand new machine before using it. Supervisor was rude and assured this machine was tested…well clearly it was not. Corporate was of no help either and did nothing about it. Now I as the customer have to take it to be repaired and they are stating it needs a new deck. Now just got the news today the the deck is on backorder with no known date. So now I should have to go pay someone to cut our grass?? Or go pay to rent a mower?! Absolutely terrible customer service all the way around. I should not have to go through this with a brand new mower. If I wanted something used and banged up I would have went on Craigslist. Absolutely unacceptable.

Hate this store. Go here on a Friday night, at 630 and the entrance and exit for lawn and garden is closed. Really???? Its planting season and yard season. Had to walk all the way around. Next time , Ill go to Lowes! They dont close off entrances to their store!!

Menards is a fine store but we were told yesterday that their ONE handicap cart was being used. If this is true, a change needs to be made. We can’t come back without an electric cart.

We shop at Home Depot.They have employees always asking if you need help and everything there is alot cheaper. John Menards should have his employees take a customer relations class.

Horrible customer service and no help to contractors. Returns and exchanges are a nightmare with huge lines, unfriendly staff, and bad policies. If you are a DIY homeowner looking for the cheapest price they are ok but for any big projects or serious contractors you are better off going to Home Depot one return that Menards rejects that Home Depot would take without a problem will get back all of the (slights) savings they offer and you will have less headaches overall.

Not the best customer service experience today. KELLY at customer services (return/exchange desk) was rude and seemed mad the whole time she was helping us to exchange products.

People are always friendly and helpful and easy to find. They are easy to work with when needing material delivered to your home.

Had an issue regarding a rental item, also had poor customer service from an assistant manager (Stephanie S). I reached out to corporate, they said they were looking into my concern and were going to have the general manager, “Mr. Kostopolus” reach out. There was no further contact and I’ve since stopped shopping there.

Couldnt get any help finding a few items today. No one seemed to know where the things were that I wanted. Usually great service but today was way off.

Bought outdoor stuff and paid with rebates , ended up with .03 cents left on rebates !! Worked out good or what !!. Lol

2 days in a row, we were here and Both were terrible experiences. Rude employees in the paint department and at checkout when they had to open up more lanes. Will definitely go out of our way to go to the other Menards.

Great hardware store...most exceptional prices. Huge food and personal care selection. Christmas goodies perfect trees and trimming. Lighting section is lovely. Employees are kind and knowledgeable. You can rent carpet cleaners and tools by the day or hour. Nice return policy 👍 Good job Menards.

Bought tons of stuff through the years from this store and recently went in to go through and get some old boxes from their recycling bins and was told by manager that they dont give away their boxes anymore, even though I did this same thing 2 years ago. The manager says they reuse them but ironically saw a employee taking boxes to a crusher in the back this morning. Lost my business forever!

Everything was great until it was time to checkout. The lady was rude for no reason and her supervisor was next to her and allowed her to be that way. Maybe she should have pulled her from the checkout and have her do something else that day.

Normally the service is great here but today that was not the case. We went to buy new smoke detectors and when checking out the price was higher than listed on the tag. When i asked about the price discrepancy they spoke to the eletrical department and they said the higher price was correct. I went back to the detectors amd took a picture of the lower price tag that was listed. As i walked away the dept worker came and fixed the tag. I get you have things labeled wrong but to lie about the price then change it after is not ok. If you made a mistake admit it then fix it. It will be awhile before going back here.

I came in to do some shopping with my 8yr old.. we drove from a ways a way.. an a lady stops us.. an says no kids are allowed under 18.. I said oh ok I didn’t know about this.. I can leave.. my son just needs the restroom.. the lady says you are not allowed.. I think that’s sick of the store to treat a child this way.. I will never come back.. choose Home Depot.. I went there an they were amazing to us.. an he was able to use the bathroom..

I know another mask complainer. Seriously tho just be cool menards. Your store is vast and we just need to catch our breaths sometimes. We dont need another lecture on wearing masks. We have all heard your riot act. We have all been wearing masks this whole time and mysteriously the numbers just keep going up but thats besides the point. Today takes the cake on mask shaming and embarrassment and I walked out on $132 in product and likely wont shop there ever again which is unfortunate because I always shopped there and used to love the store before this pandemic hit. Menards quit acting like your saving the world cause your not.

I purchased a vanity top from their web site and the actual top did not look like the picture on their site, so I wanted to return it and maybe select one in the store. Well they wanted to charge me a 25% restocking fee. After some discussion, they strong armed me in making a purchase right away and only then would they waive the restocking fee. Two things bothered me. I dont mind a restocking fee, but 25% is unreasonable, two, I have spent thousands of dollars there, in past 3 months, why not just say, you are a good and valued customer and we will waive or adjust the restocking fee. BTW, the web site did not clearly say a 25% restocking fee would apply. Only after the confirmation receipt was issued, did it mention the restocking fee. Home Depot gets the rest of my business. To bad I like supporting Wisconsin businesses. Menards, start treating you customers better.

Got list of fencing parts, paid for them, went and got trailer. Returned to pick up materials and found they are out of stock? Not happy.

Night manager constantly looking for confrontation. Very young girl had her mask fall past her nose and the night manager was absolutely ridiculous over a childs mask slipping down, went out of her way to make a huge deal out of it, went out of her way to have a confrontation over it. Sad pathetic person

Large merchandise carts should be more accessible especially into the middle of the store. I always have to walk the outside perimeter of the store looking for a cart. I usually find carts but they seem to have restock on them.

Menards just recently started requiring face masks to enter the store. Well after the alleged pandemic has already come and gone. The service desk informed me that its their right to do so since the store is privately owned and on private property. My question to then was.. so if you require someone to wear a dunce hat in your store you would feel justified in doing that too? Ill be taking my business elsewhere

We shop there all the time. Weve use Menards many times even for our own home updates and renovations. We bought a novel LED Patriot outdoor floodlight. After about one year, it gave out on us. By then we tossed the box and no longer had the receipt. Being they recognized it as a product they sold, could not find our receipt, but they saw it has a 5 year warranty. With no questions, we were able to trade it in no problems. They have top notch customer service. We bought more stuff that day too for our garden.

I actually didnt go inside, I needed a wifi Hotspot and Menards had that available. I was pleasantly surprised.

Disappointed with Madison in the paint dept. After I politely asked her if she was free to help me, she said no but pointed me to someone else, after I waited for them to be available, she doubles back, and interrupts the employee while shes helping me. Glad she wasnt helping me if shes not familiar with what shes doing, but could have used more tact. Dirty little secret: Home Depot and Fleet Farm run very similar promotions concurrent with Menards 11% rebate.

Please have hand sanitizer at entrance and exit of your store. What good are masks while in the store, when you touch many items, that could be contaminated. I love stores that provide a hand sanitizer, especially at exit. This way I feel confident that when I enter my car I will not be bringing anything ( virus ) with me.

Thanks for having the stuff I wanted! A bit disappointed though, because the tub was cracked at the head and foot quite substantially, and you wouldnt help me exchange it. I have to go through the process of trading it tomorrow on my already tight schedule :( Dont appreciate the masks either, and have been avoiding the store I always went to before... Anyway, thanks for being here for us for our supplies and jobs though :)

Using app makes things easy to find in the store and they usually have good prices. Just have to be careful with what you buy for lumber, of you let it sit it tends to warp more than lumber Ive gotten from other stores.

Until you can take off the masks I will probably rate things Menards low. I wish owners of companies would do their homework before they make people wear these masks and to understand the political BS behind how this virus is reported. Its hard to find a flatbed cart because I think Menards is afraid to keep them where they belong or to have somebody go out and get them and bring them back. It was also almost impossible to find somebody that wanted to help me when its over by the shelving because there were some units I wanted to buy but at this time I did not purchase them. Also since I sent an email in a couple of weeks ago and my only response was from Ray who is the fictitious dead spokesperson. I dont have a lot of respect right now for the company. On another note you will never feel safe without your mask until you trust in God. Have a wonderful day!

I dont often shop Menards. I prefer Home Depot or Lowes, but since they are requiring people to wear masks in the store, I intend to shop there much more often. Why? Because many people who do not wear masks in the stores have no problem walking right into my space. Seriously! 6 feet people! Some people are so busy demanding their own rights, but are so oblivious to others rights. Going to the stores is like going to an obstacle course, some days. Thanks Menards!

Lumber yard Manager Georgina is absolutely terrible. Ive never encountered someone that treats customers so poorly. She will tell you flat out that shes too busy and wont help you get the boards you need. If youre wondering who is the one running into lumber bundles with forks and smashing good lumber, its her. I called her out on it one day because I couldnt believe how wrecklessly she was driving around and all she could say is Im in a hurry. Good to know that the manager is the one ramrodding around wrecking lumber like its her first day on a forklift. Will be giving all my business to a local lumber yard after this project. The good service will be worth the additional cost.

Came into the store with my father and 12 year old son. Not only was I told I couldnt bring my son into the store, but we were also told that we had to wear a face mask. We refused and went about our business in the store, accompanied by my son. Very shortly after we were aproched by a manager, who told us if we didnt comply that we needed to leave, and that if we refused the police would be called. Guess we live in communist China now. Left a horrible taste in my mouth for this company. I will never be back, and Ill make sure to tell everyone I know not to support this business anymore.

Masks still required, lighting and lumber selection is great, everything else seems to be lower quality than nearby competitors.

I go to Menards often in a different city. This one rearranged the store and it took wire a while to find what I needed. It was clean and appealing and staff were helpful.

I brought my children with me as I have nowhere to leave them to be told that I cannot enter the store due to COVID 19 age restriction being to 16!!!! This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard or experienced in my life. Way to discriminate Menards!!! I hope you eventually get sued because this is ridiculous. Under 16 you cannot enter but high risk elderly are free to enter because that makes so much sense. Idiots!

No I will not wear a mask to shop in your store. And no I will not buy one from you. Guess I will take my $300 purchase elsewhere. The only scientifically proven way to prevent desease is washing your hands, and distancing. And since I am not sick I will not where a mask to slow the spread of desease. Since masks dont prevent getting sick. Also Menards.com is breaking OSHAS air quality guidelines when forcing people to wear a mask that allows oxygen amounts inside a mask to go below 19.5%. Normal outside oxygen normal amount is up to 21%. This is causing hypoxia in many people.

Best all around hardware store...beats both the orange and the blue guys.DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!UPDATE: MENARDS is one of the WORST establishments. Because I have a medical condition they will not let me shop in their store. I understand that companies can set their own policies, and I respect that. However those policies cannot violate state of federal law. Even though they are a private company they are still classified as a public accommodation and must follow state and federal regulations regarding disabilities.
