Before anything was done I asked the price for my services and the young lady started a price and I agreed to services. Once they were done and I was checked out it was a whole different price that I did not expect and speaking with the owner he act as though he did not care and that I was lying about the price I was told. He lied in my face and agreed to run my card for an amount that I specify but run it for a greater amount and said that he will have his daughter to give me a call and that did not happen. So, in other words if you want to be treated unfairly, like a lair, and be over billed and the owner not have a care for you, this is the place for you.

It’s disheartening to give a bad review for a local business but after my numerous attempts to resolve a problem that they actually created I’m left to write an honest review. I went to get my actuator fixed and when I got my car back, 2 NEW problems are now evident after they replaced the actuator. I have gone back twice to have these new issues resolved and they seemingly can’t be bothered to fix what they did wrong. They stated the new problems are just minor inconveniences and there’s no damage being done but not like I trust what they say. ..They got my $200, caused additional work to be done, and won’t even fix or make this right and now I have to go to the dealership. Idk what kind of business they run but it’s not an honest one. Go somewhere else that takes pride in having proper business protocols.

I will never stray away from the one company that has always done me right. Came in for tires today. I was in and out within an hour and a half, driving straight without an alignment needed.Last year my insurance company recommended I go to Auto Select and after that experience, I will caution all my friends to be a large radius away of that company but instead bring all your needs to the people here at Baumgart because here... honesty, professionalism and accuracy are key.Keep it family owned!

Mike took very good care of me as usual brought my trailer tires in to have new ones mounted and balanced I was in and out within about a half an hour to 45 minutes even though I could clearly see that they were very busy and they were just about ready to close thanks a lot Mike

Very kind and knowledgeable staff!They were awesome when my boyfriend went in with a bent rim and a flat tire. They did everything they could to fix it rather than just telling him he had to replace it right away. Because they couldnt fix it, they didnt charge him even though they pulled the wheel off and tried to bend it back into place which was incredibly kind

There’s a reason they’ve been in business for 50 years! Fast and Friendly service with Mike. Spent days in online sites and other shops trying to figure out some options for wheel and tire combos for my 78 El Camino with marginal success. Stopped in and talked to Mike. He provided me with 4-5 various wheel and tire options that would work. Mike got quotes on all the options and eta of delivery. I was able to select the wheel and tire combo I wanted and make the purchase in 1 visit. Mike was able to accomplish more in 20 minutes then I was able to accomplish in a few days. Highly recommend!

Very bad customer service. I brought my vehicles in after I put in a rack and pinion i brought it in get an alignment done. They told me they could not do it because the ball joints were bad, but I just replaced those 2 weeks prior to replacing the rack and pinion then they kept making excuses why they couldnt do it so I picked it up and they tried to charge me for the service. (I told them Im not paying you a dime because the service I requested was not complete) Im a mechanic graduate from fox valley tech and the way they try to scam people is bs. Would not recommend this company to anyone they are very uneducated

I went in today to get a quote on new tires for my 2016 Toyota Rav4. They had my tires in stock, and were able to put them on the within an hour of me being there. With the purchase of my tires, they gave me a sweatshirt to help celebrate their 50 year Anniversary. There was also a rebate going on which helped reduce the overall cost of my tires as well! Clean waiting area with friendly people behind the counter and working in the shop! Highly recommended!

Needed a tube put in a trailer tire for work. Total time spent in shop...1/2 hour. And I was entertained with great conversation by the receptionist. Felt like I was there only 5 minutes. Awesome service!

I started going to Baumgart about 15 years ago, when that big name tire places prices went to the moon. I keep going back, and am taking the time to write this review because EVERY TIME I go there, everyone goes out of their way to help. Unfailingly nice, always competent. Tires are ALWAYS perfectly balanced. You know that hollywood movie where the small town people are perfect? Baumgart feels like that.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT Service, had a slow leak in my tire, made an appointment for 2pm was leaving the building at 2:10 fixed, only charged for the broken valve stem...no labor cost, friendly, helpful...will for sure buy my next tires there.👍👍

I cant speak to their other services, but if you have tires that need servicing, this is the place to go. With in a week the other guys fix of a leaky tire is leaking again. Its been 2 months for the car and 9 months for the trailer and all tires still have air when normally would have been flat. Outstanding! All my tires will be coming here from now on.

I use to always come here if I wanted honest and trustworthy answers. Not anymore after my most recent experience. The owners wife is very unprofessional and his daughter Ericka. I was quoted a price for a service and verified it before handing over the keys only to be charged something totally different. The owners wife is the one I verified the price with before handing the keys over. She made a comment when I went to pay well everyone knows thats the price but when I asked the first time she told me something different and didnt ask why I was asking. Which she very well could have done. She quite honestly seemed to find the whole situation funny. Said she would meet us halfway but then preceded to charge us 5 more dollars because of taxes. She didnt mention anything about taxes beforehand to do with that price. We explained that we had an estimate at home with a different price as well. The owners wife said she would refund the difference if we brought the estimate in. She made all these excuses and wouldnt refund our money when we brought it back. She was laughing. This is bad business and very shady. I could of went anywhere else with my business but because of my most recent experience with some other businesses not giving me honest answers about my car I went here. Then I get screwed by Baumgart as well. I recommend a lot of customers to them not anymore!!! Dont go here youll regret it.

I really dont do reviews and I even rarely do 5 stars for anything. But this place has gone up and beyond anything I could have asked. Moving out of state and getting new tires from them, they said I get a rebate but I didnt have my address yet. They kept in contact with me and after a mistake on the address I gave them, they offered to send it in for me so I could get the rebate.They absolutely went up and beyond what I imagined after getting my money so I could get the rebate and knowing I moved to a different state and wouldnt see me again. Great job everyone there, you should be proud!

Mike and the guys did a wonderful job when I came in for an emergency flat. Erica was very helpful as well, getting me in and making sure everything was done accurately and on time when I was rushed. This is a great place. I take my corporate vehicle here for service and they are always on time and quick to get your service done. I had new tires put on my wifes car for a really great deal compared to anyone else I could find and they gave awesome recomendations on tires we would like.

Got me in quickly and were $250 cheaper than Matthews tire on one set of tires and $100 cheaper on the other set. Ill come here next time again

I went there for an alignment and some sensor installs. While I was there the gentleman going by the name of Mike was at the counter mostly. During his time up there he assisted multiple people, two individuals stuck out. He assisted one with a minor issue promptly and when asked of payment he did it free. The next was a person with a wheel issue that turned to an axle issue. He could have sold the guy rims and tires to replace the bent rim instead he had someone look into it and found out the real problem. He then didnt charge for any labor that went into it and gave a beyond fair price to fix the axle. Im sure the guy will be back to get it done. He treats people with care and respect when you want a good price a from good people go here.

Ive bought a few sets of tires from Baumgarts over the years. Theyve also replaced a bearing and brakes as well and did a great job. Friendly! Today I was in because of tire/road noise in my SUV I just bought. Being a girl, I thought the dealership wasnt giving me accurate reasons and resolution to my problem. SO I brought it in to Baumgarts for a Double Check.... Mike and Erika were super nice, Mike drove my car and explained in detail the problem. I was able to go to dealership, state this information and get my tires replaced at dealerships cost! With no hassle.Good honest people and this gives me even more reason to continue buying my tires as needed at Baumgarts as well as recommended them to others!!

I went there to have lift kit put on my truck. He said they ordered it, so I waited patiently for them to call. Never called me back finally called them and was told company never shipped it. So why not inform me of this? What a waste of my time shall NEVER return.

Called mike for atv tire swap said he was booked, but could get to it if I dropped off. Baumgarts let me drop off as they were about to close mike had my tires done by opening next day. I couldnt have a better experience.
