After being treated with double standards by doctor Jaimie Schmidt and her nurse Ashley, I am happy to say I will not go back to this location again. Not to mention the poor treatment by the schedulers on the phone is absurd. From suffering with chronic migraines I was put on preventative medication but never medication to help with the problem. When asked if I could have a referral to a dietician, I was told just shop on the outside of the store and the majority of my problems just forgotten about and not looked in to. I will admit, I am a special case in that I have many health problems, but if a doctor isnt going to help, they should tell you upfront so you dont waste your time and can find someone who wont judge you and solve your issues.

Dr. Heiks has every vital trait that I was looking for in a physician. He is compassionate and emphatic. He takes the time to listen and understand my feelings. He is extremely knowledgeable and stays up-to-date with all of the changes in medicine. He is trustworthy and forthright with all of the facts. Most importantly, he is passionate about what he does. It’s obvious that Dr. Heiks has a sincere desire in helping others. I feel like I have hit the “doctor jackpot” with having Dr. Heiks as my physician, and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a doctor.

DR. RIGSTAD IS ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT, KIND, AND HUMBLE PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. HIS KNOWLEDGE EXCEEDS FAMILY CARE. HE TAKES TIME IN HIS APPOINTMENTS TO LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND YOU.MY FAMILY WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE HIM.

Get an attorney first. They have no idea what they are doing and you will be in constant pain for 2 months while you wait. How can you charge people so much and provide such terrible and non answer service.

She is amazing and thorough! I am impressed. Very soft spoken and I felt I had an extremely positive experience.

Understaffed and long wait times.

First off, I love my Dr. and his nurse. Ive just experienced some double standard treatment from these people. My boyfriend can call and say that his ear is acting up and theyll give him referrals and prescriptions without office visits or tests...as a woman I cant even call to request a one time pill for a yeast infection...feeling a little like they just want my money from the visit. With my new insurance I cant afford anymore visits so it would have been really nice to have been facilitated the same way my boyfriend was with his referrals AND his over the phone prescription. Seems like they arent really there to help but want the money.

Dr. Schmidt’s nurse, Ashley is not good at her job. She pretends to care but plays games and never returns phone calls. She may want to find a new career where she doesn’t deal with people.

I called for my fiancé last night to talk to someone about an intense head ache he had. Not going into detail because of private reasons. But the doctor on call last night for Dr. Lenz barely said anything while I was explaining the symptoms, he also didn’t ask ANY questions, and acted uncomfortable and unprofessional. He just told us to go in to the E.R. Even though my fiancé wasn’t in that bad of shape to go to the E.R. I mean, that is why we called Primary care in the first place. All we wanted was medical advice and to talk about his symptoms, but the doctor couldn’t even do that for us. We will be switching doctors, this is not the first time they dropped the ball.

Ive been a patient here for 20 years and have always received great care.

Dr. Fuller has been my PCP for a few years now, and he is amazing! He takes so much time to answer questions and explore what could be causing a problem before jumping to conclusions. When there are various treatment options, he explains them to me and asks for my input. He even remembers previous conversations weve had even though I only see him once or twice a year. Hes just a really nice guy and great doctor, and his nurse is amazing, too!

Dr. HUBERT is the most respectful, heartwarming, caring, Dr I have ever known. He does not rush you thru and he absolutely cares!! I recommend him to all I know. Not many Dr s like HUBERT anymore!! He’s fantastic!!

Rushes you out of the appointment. Talks about the drinks their having that night right outside the examination room. And recommends you a procedure that you pay 900 bucks for that doesnt work. I would not recommend going here.

Thursday my husband came in to drop off my two kids sports physical form for their doctors to fill out. The reception lady was absolutely rude about it when he ask if its possible to get them done by tomorrow because the school needed them next week and she kept repeating I dont know and I dint know very loud and rude. My husband is Indian and has little English and she was not kind the way she speak to him. Shes heavy set, has short brown hair looks like shes Mexican, not sure. I am a doctor myself and I know what it takes to have good customer service.

I have been going to Primary Care Associates my entire life! Dr. Steve Hagen is very gentle and takes the time to listen to you and all questions/concerns that you have. Even though it is sometimes hard to get into his schedule with him being so busy, it is worth the wait! I high recommend him and his whole staff to anyone!

Very happy with my visit with Christine Jones PA-C today! She listens and truly cares about my health and well-being. I did not feel rushed at all. Will recommend her to anyone. Front desk did a great job as well.

I love the doctor I see here. He’s very nice and actually listens to you. The only problem I have with this place is the receptionists. They’re the first ones you interact with when you come here and they are so rude. They never smile. They have an “I don’t want to be here” attitude. Especially the woman who sits second from the left. Would rather play on her phone than check anyone in. She also yelled at my fiancé and I for coming right up to her instead of waiting, even though she was the only one available. “There’s a sign, you know!”. Extremely unprofessional. Definitely sets the mood for your whole appointment, and it’s not a good one.

Responsive, professional, and organized. The overall atmosphere may be a little impersonal at times, but thats to be expected with such a large practice. The plus side is that they often can address your concerns right away because they have so many diagnostic facilities and staff on site. Ive never had anything other than courteous and caring interactions with the people who work here.

I am going to be a new patient with Dr. Douglas, I am glad he gets great reviews. My Insurance changed and he is listed in my PPO of Doctors. I have to say I have called 4 times today and each person I spoke with has been great. Finding a new Doctor is not easy but everyone has answered all my questions and helped me set my first appointment. Thank You and see you soon.

**This joke of a doctor retired 2 weeks after i wrote this review.**I wouldnt feel comfortable sending my friends and family to him. Dr Heyerdahl should not be a family practitioner. I honestly believe this guy is racist. I am Hispanic and even though I was 20 and spoke perfect English, he talked to me like I was a toddler. He also did this to my mother. He even knew that it bothered us, yet continued to do it anyways. Dr Heyerdahl, whod already known about my familys financial problems, ordered multiple expensive tests without telling me about the cost, found nothing, and ended up putting me in more debt because of the bill. Do not trust this doctor. He has no idea what hes doing and will most likely just write you a ton of prescriptions that wont work instead of trying to find out what is actually wrong with you. Dr Heyerdahl doesnt know how to deal with people who are not well off like himself. If he had one ounce of empathy he wouldve done something about the massive bill that he tricked me into having to pay. Dr. Heyerdahl, next time you perform that many tests to an unemployed uninsured patient, you should tell them how much its going to cost beforehand. Im sure you dont even care about me, my family or the other minority families that you take care of.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my one and only visit to this place. The reason for my visit was to renew a prescription to a medicine I have been taking for a quite a long time to replace my hormones. I went to this place because I moved away from my former doctor who was glad to prescribe it for me but was 2 hours away. Dr Schmidt at this place only gave permission to get a few months of this medication with no refills after that. she said that it is not regulated by the FDA even though it has worked for me for many years. She wanted me to take a different medication instead that I found out has a full page of side effects. And she even tried without my permission to prescribe that medication for me. When I caught her at this she said to talk to her nurse. I would not recommend a place like this that tries to force you to take a medication that you do not want to take and refuses to renew your prescription that other doctors including my OBGYN surgeon knows is a safe effective medication. Dr Schmidt is just concerned that she wont get any kickbacks because of prescribing this medication. That is very greedy! Dont go here at all!

Being a nurse I work with many different doctors.I have a doctor here that I know is wonderful how he treats me He doesnt assume that because Im a nurse I know everything. I have had other doctors when my doctors off or out of office.Ive had nothing but respect an honest and open treatment from these doctors. Theyre willing to give you the options of treatment and not rush you out of the visit because they need to get to the next personI have the utmost respect for these doctors

Everyone here is so incredibly friendly. The interactions Ive had with the receptionists, nurses, and doctors here have all been great. I dont see myself going anywhere else for medical care after coming here.

Dr. Servais does a really nice job and the handful of other doctors I have seen have been good as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new doctor.

I’ve lived up in Appleton for about a year before needing a doctor. I’ve been lucky. But one day I needed to be seen ASAP. After calling my insurance and finding a provider in network, I called Primary Care Associates. I spoke with reception about needing an appointment and described my symptoms, she immediately transferred me to a nurse. Upon speaking with the nurse it was decided I needed to come in that day. Fast forward to later that day, I walk in and get checked in. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and we went over the basic insurance and new patient paperwork. I was directed to a specific part of the clinic to wait and be called back. It was probably a 10 minute wait before a nurse called me back. She was very friendly and took my vitals and added my symptoms to my chart. After she left the doctor was in about 5 minutes later. Again, I’m very impressed with the low wait times and very friendly staff. Dr. Scott Gyorog is absolutely wonderful. He probably spent 30-45 minutes with me as we talked about what was going on. He was getting my medical history and did a physical exam. He thoroughly explained the next steps, getting blood work, some extra tests. I felt heard and comfortable that he cared about my health and wanted to help figure out this problem. I went back out to a different part of a waiting room and waited to have some lab work done. The phlebotomist who called me back WAS WONDERFUL. I normally pass out when getting blood taken. But she was so skilled I didn’t even feel the pinch and was surprised she was already putting the bandaid on. I have never been treated with such respect and kindness at a doctors office before. I am happy to have such a caring team in charge of my medical care. I recommend them to anyone looking for a family or primary care doctor!

If anyone has had gaut they know how unbelievably painful it is,so you probably would want it for the shortest time possible. I went to get rid of the pain as soon as possible,so instead of giving me a steroid injection and ending my pain by morning,they prescribed pills that previously took days. As afraid of needles that I am I still was willing to get the injection to get rid of the pain as soon as possible,now I have to be in unbelievable pain for 3 times as I should.Sometimes listening to the patient is best for the patient.

Great doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and staff. My personal care physician Dr.Oetken is great and has help me tremendously. Ive recommend Primary Care to friends and they are happy they made the switch. Great Care - Great Service - Great Place to go for medical help.

I have been seeing Dr. Ralston at this practice for almost 6 years. She is incredibly knowledgeable and empathic. You can truly tell that her primary purpose is to strengthen her patients health. He support staff, Brenda and Tia, are also wonderful.

I have had my primary doctor at this clinic for over 3 years. I have been more than satisfied with every aspect of the clinic.

Called early morning with a question for my Dr. and was told I would get a call back around noon. Called again at 1 and was told I would get a call back. Called back at 4 and was told he left for the day.

I have been going here the past year or so and have not been treated well. First, the doctor acted as if he didnt know basic medicine or how to really treat any chronic or acute illness/injury. The nurse that answers the phone for medical questions is not very nice most of the time and doesnt seem to actually check with anyone before saying theres nothing that they can do. When you try to make a complaint about any of the staff, they wont actually listen to you at all and just try to talk over you and make you out to be the bad guy in the situation. They are not compassionate for the most part. There was one decent human being there who actually acted like they cared, but really the rest of the staff and doctors didnt. Also apparently when the doctor makes a decision about the care youll receive there, theres nothing you can do to even try and fight it because HR will not take you seriously and make it seem like you dont have rights whatsoever. Its not worth it to go here, just go somewhere else in the first place.

Doctors are great, and the rest of the staff is amazing. Always very friendly.

I changed insurances, I asked if I was still covered with the new insurance and they said yes, they said we are independent and we are providers for your new insurance and gave me the appointments. Then the insurance didnt cover the services because they were not PPO providers and I got a bill. I talked to billing they showed doubts about my word as if I was lying and provided no solution. Very disappointed with them after being a patient for three years I think they could have done better.

All the practitioners here have been great, including drs, nurse pract., lab & yes, even the billing dept. Both my husband & myself go here. Cant say enough good about them.

Dr. Szabo is the best, very honest and upfront with various treatment plans. He also allows you to be incharge of your own health and includes your opinions when treating you. He does his research, even taking the time to contact other specialties himself instead of asking the nurses to play phone tag. His nursing staff are also all great. They are kind and make your appointments personabile.

I would never recommend this place to anyone, having expressed concern over the lack of care being provided I received a letter in the mail terminating my service with the facility after 3.5 to 4 years of going there with zero complaints. In the letter and also by calling back in they stated that I verbally abused the nurse that took the call, false. I waited 30 minutes pass the scheduled time for my doctor before asking if everything was ok ad was told it would be another 15 minutes before being brought back to the room, not to see him just to be brought back. so I had to cancel due to a dental appointment for severe tooth pains, upon leaving I called the nurse who stated that he would be on vacation for 2 weeks and I needed to wait till he returned. my medical condition could not wait that long so I asked for them to talk to the doctor and figure this out and that my condition was way the hell out of control. Now being a Service member I am still looking for care for a doctor that takes my insurance in the area, and for family care doctors there are not that many but referrals an specialists are many. so if you want my advice I recommend any where else but this place.

I was looking up the number to call in my prescription and noticed this place wasnt given an 5 star rating. Ive been going here for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences. I read some of the complaints and dont feel the people leaving them have had many experiences in healthcare. Ive had my share and will attest that everything from appointments to follow up to delivery of care is excellent. Not always perfect but with many moving pieces going on in a facility like this on a daily basis they do their best to accommodate and do so in a timely and professional manner. My primary doctor (McKeever) and my sons (Mckee) are two of the kindest and most knowledgeable doctors Ive had the pleasure to meet. When I had a health event a few years back my doctor wasnt around to treat me and I had 3 other doctors treat me from the same facility (Ebben, Heyerdahl, and I dont recall the 3rd). I assumed it would be inconvenient and Id be explaining my situation all over again to different doctor but to my surprise all 3 came in knowing my history prior to treatment as well as all the steps that where taken by the other doctors to treat me. Impressed from start to finish on numerous occasions.

They clearly dont care about helping people in pain nor new business. I tried to setup an appointment to have one of their staff become my primary doctor, but was denied by a very condescending nurse. Guess Ill just try to fix my broken shoulder with the help of the internet, like I shouldve done all along.
