I tried to make the switch to Meemic when I moved. I was not well advised that I had to fix every item on my inspection report. With an older home, there are many defects, but none that were serious. I received a letter on November 17th (postmarked the 15th) that was date October 14th that my insurance would be cancelled November 14th. Basically I received communication a month late and was never advised by this agent that this was a condition.Luckily I was able to almost match the price through Progressive and it was a lot less hassle with a bigger, more reliable company.
